Thank you So much for uploading this! I have this already on video, but my copy is a poor one from the Family Channel so it was also edited. Thanx again! :)
that's what I love about the old LMAD, the zonks were sometimes actually worth something. a lot of them were actually really neat and creative (and random). on the new version with Wayne, zonks are usually worth nothing and aren't as funny.
Sometimes I just don't get this show. So the elephant was an actual prize? It wasn't a zonk? That woman was shocked when he asked her if she'd trade it. Why didn't Monty ask the woman who won $900?
"Zonks" were sometimes something worth quite a bit, but unfeasible to use. If the women wanted to keep the elephant, they would have had to have let her, and the show would have been out a lot of money.
tv shows back then was AMAZING* thanks,

"Now I've had my head in an elephant, a hippo, and a giant sloth."
Shouldn't the first Mary Nelson have participated in the Big Deal?

The elephant was like the months worth of garbage cans
How come Monty went to the woman with the elephant second for the Big Deal? There were other people who had won more than her.
They can trade what they won for a chance to win the Big Deal; she traded her elephant to play.
