    that's what I love about the old LMAD, the zonks were sometimes actually worth something. a lot of them were actually really neat and creative (and random). on the new version with Wayne, zonks are usually worth nothing and aren't as funny.

    Sometimes I just don't get this show. So the elephant was an actual prize? It wasn't a zonk? That woman was shocked when he asked her if she'd trade it. Why didn't Monty ask the woman who won $900?

      "Zonks" were sometimes something worth quite a bit, but unfeasible to use. If the women wanted to keep the elephant, they would have had to have let her, and the show would have been out a lot of money.

      They can trade what they won for a chance to win the Big Deal; she traded her elephant to play.
