I am an Invicta Pro Diver fanboy. I have found them as low as $40 recently on Amazon. I counted up and over the last few years I have purchased over a dozen (counting a few Invicta Pro Diver 1953’s). I give them away as presents to friends. One caution is make sure It’s assembled in MALAYSIA and not China. You can’t really tell where it’s going to come from when you order, but I have sent a couple back. Chinese versions seem to have a lot of little problems. My daily is four years old and going strong.
Hey, if the only cons are the bracelet, which I can change and that it's an homage of a Rolex, which I'll never own, then the watch sounds petty perfect to me.
I have 3 pro divers, 2 quartz and a mechanical, mine are smaller(38 mm) I like them a lot, great beater, lots of colours(I have a silver face, a black face and a blingy two toned) they are fun and robust and at the price...hard to beat. I have one for 4 years.
It makes every sense to get a Pro Diver. It has the calibre to be worn 24/7 as a 1-watch collection. Reliable brand, affordable price, tough movement and good built quality. What more one ask?
Hello JS. Invicta doesn’t get the respect it desires for some of its watches. Sounds like you always have this one. 👍. Thanks for watching and enjoy your watch.
@@JS-ev4xc so interesting you say that. I’ve very recently seen some Invicta that have caught my eye. They do look vintage inspired. I didn’t know there was a line of them. I’ll definitely have to check out the Invicta website.
I really like the Invictas watches from the ProDiver automatic line. I have one that I bought in Miami with a Myota machine and it is twenty years old. It never stopped working. I like this channel. Success!
Great watches I have several automatic Pro Divers, I find for the price to quality ratio there is nothing to complain about with these watches. I like the INVICTA logo etched into the side of the case it's all part of the allure to the brand for me.
Not a huge fan of Invicta overall for their monstrosities, but the Pro Diver collection specifically, I love it. You can't beat the price/quality ratio. And it's so cheap that I bought four in different colors. Very happy with them.
Great video. "It depends on what you personally are looking for in a watch" you said. For me, I had no idea it was a Submariner homage at the time. I just loved the luxurious, yet masculine look of it. I was on a cruise at the time, and it jumped out at me amid the many other watches on sale that day. Yes, I overpaid and yet I care not. It was fun shopping and I seem to be less careful with my spending when cruising. I still have it, a model 30094 two tone, and it keeps perfect time and I have a cool story to tell when someone compliments me on it. Cheers!
Hello Vic-lk1zq. I completely understand buying watches on a cruise. Sometimes it hard to resist. 😀I also bought a Timex early in my collection ( not on a cruise) and didn’t know at the time it was an homage. If you love it, but it. Thanks for watching my video.
I wish they kept that gold piece on the movement, but I don't really look at the back side very often. I got the 42mm pro diver a couple weeks ago, been wearing it every day and really like it, and it keeps great time. Not the jubilee bracelet that came with it, but ordered a nice leather strap at the same time (the thickness doesn't bother me, it is a little more obvious with a leather strap though). Regarding the engraved Invicta on the side, I forget it's even there -- I really never see it. (It got mine on Amazon and it came in a crappy cardboard box, not the nice Invicta case, but oh well.) One bonus of the 42mm over the 38mm is the white lumen, which is yellow/green on the 38mm (blah). Another edit - my fingers hurt for a full day after trying to remove a couple links to make the metal bracelet fit (and broke one of my watch tools), those links were super super hard to get out (tried to give the metal bracelet a chance, but leather looks nicer than the jubilee ... probably would have kept an oyster bracelet on it if it came with that).
I had a 40mm 8926ob a few years back although it took about 3 attempts to get a good one . I sold it on and forgot about them until a few weeks back when I took a chance on another. This time I went for a full gold plate version with the Omega style bezel. It's not something I wear often but as you said I ended up liking it more than I thought I would. The quality is actually pretty good and they've been making these for so long now it kind of has its own history. I'd take one of these over a pagani anyday.
Hey John. I think Invicta gets a bad rap, but when you see one in person (at least in my case) it turns out to be better than expected. Enjoy your gold plated watch and thanks for watching. 👍👍
Thanks for another excellent review! I do like this green and black bezel . And I could see this watch on my wrist after substituting the bracelet. All in all I prefer the other Invicta submariner homage that you reviewed a few videos ago. Fun fact, every time I see an Invicta watch I think about the most popular Italian Manufacturer of backpacks and school bags, which have been an ever present item from the 80s onwards on the backs of lots of Italian students. It is called exactly “Invicta”. Thanks for the video!
Love my Invicta 8926ob. I like all the branding, it's not trying to pretend to be a submariner. Great watch, looks good. What's the problem? NH34a is used in watches up to $500. Mine gains 10 sec/day, not too bad.
If you don't own an automatic watch and you want to buy one, this is where you start. After I bought my first Invicta Pro Diver I was hooked on automatic watches. This watch proves that you don't need to spend money to get an automatic watch. I literally threw out all of my quartz watches after I got this.
I love atomic watches but like you I can’t make my mind up about the invicta I love divers so I may get one eventually Costco in the U.K. get them in just before Christmas maybe I will get one then I have plenty of watches to tide me over till then thanks for your Honest review
Hi Eddie. I love the fact it’s available at Costco. Makes it easily attainable for people just starting to collect watches and the everyday guy. Thanks for watching.
After 5 years of hard abuse, my bezel stopped turning so I took it off to clean it and now I can't get it back on. So I left it off. Kinda like how it looks. Resembles the look of the Rolex, Marlon Brando wore in Apocalypse Now.
Sounds like that was alot of abuse, if the bezel stopped rotating. I think this is a great watch for exactly that type of reason. Plus the “modding” even though if sounds intentional. 😀
Great watches , but some of invictas watches are weird now . But the divers are cool , especially the Grand Diver .Autos for under 100 , you cant go wrong , good watches .
Hey gazzertrn. I have to agree with you. Some of them are just too over the top for me. But I’ve seen some people online who love them. I’ll stick with their smaller selection of watches.
Hello Skip. I agree. They have a long history. Their early watches were great. But their pricing approach and some of their larger over the top designs have turned off a lot of people.
Hi Bill. I get it. The name on the side kept me away for years. On wrist, I didn’t notice it and it didn’t bother me as I thought it would. But I understand. I still think their 1953 is the best Invicta.
It’s really a decent watch otherwise. I’m not sure why they don’t have better lume. Seems like it wouldn’t be that much more expensive to increase the lume. Fingers cross they do it someday.
They are well made watches with a Bullet Proof Seiko movement But THEY HAVE NO RESALE VALUE unless You want to lose money! Believe me,I know very well!
When you receive one with the logo and the Invicta lettering in the wrong position on face, you will realise its complete crap and i couldn't bare to look at mine. A few more dollars gets you a basic Seiko, ten times better watch than the Invicta
Hello 2e0deq. Thanks for watching. I agree with you. I do think Seiko makes a better watch ( better finishing) than Invicta but I’m unaware of which automatic dive watch Seiko makes for around $100. Which one are you referring to?

For the price they offer great value. It is great that they offer them and allow people to buy on a budget.
Hey James. Exactly. If you can accept it for what it is, it’s a decent watch.
Steeldives are better.
@@folksurvivalcould you give me a brief rundown on why you think so? I own a couple of pro divers but don't have any experience with steel dives
