Here in Indonesia, the sales of this car are crazy, ordering this car must take 4 years.
At first this car was only priced at IDR 315 juta (RM 91K) to IDR 330 juta (RM96K) but due to the crazy demand, those who already own this car 'cari untung' and sell it for IDR 400 juta (RM 111K).
And Suzuki also slowly increasing the price until now it sells for IDR 411 juta (RM 120K), considering the 'ready stock' used market has reached more than IDR 500 juta (RM 146K).
And this happens not only here, also in other countries.
Which its why its better to buy this now and resale it later overseas 🤔

Its not a car normal people would buy, its a kosong as fk 4x4 jungle car with specs out of the 2000’s with the tiny low powered engine the old school 4speed gearbox, the lack of nvh, the very tahan but very cheap looking interior and 2 airbags but i think over seas got special kits to add more power to the engine.
normally people will just buy something like a hailat,fortuner or subaru. But its a special cute baby that you cant help but love. Its unique styling is a rare one like a mini cooper or a beetle… it also looks like the grandfather from 2generations ago that looks very cute. 2 airbag is ok for small car besides you probably going to install those big bars around the car, tyres and suspension probably need to change. Overseas got alot of people and company making oem parts so it’s possible to make the car look like a baby g wagon which looks very cool or a jungle ready 4x4.

When Hyundai launch new model they say so expensive and not value for money but This Suzuki Model cars is very not very value for money for me I prefer Hyundai elantra 1.6 premium or hyundai kona N line.👍🏻
Before hyundai and kia came in 2012 with their long warranty and pretty high specs ourncars were all expensive and kosong spec. It makes me sad to see hyundai become like this. I do look forward to the ioniq5 and ev6 even if it will cost xc90 price probably

Malaysian consumers are not bimbo! i know it is an off-roader but with that money, the seats sud at least leather wrapped and comes with push start button! dat 7" display sure looks so susss and one can tell it is lagged and it shows! Heck electronic display is becoming a standard issue now and that analog?! I was hoping this 2021 Jimny made for 2021 consumer in mind. It sure wud take a hardcore fans to fork this out of their show room, imho 🙄

I really don’t see why ppl would like this car beside being old school looking. For the price of Rm169k, there are wayyy too many other 4x4 to consider. And 1.5L with 100 horsepower 150 torque is basically a Toyota vios power. Too low for a car that market for performance / off road driving. Hmm 🤔

The RM169k is a special offer for our market thanks to the brilliant importers. The RRP in other markets is comparable to Vios and those types.

Definitely overpriced!! It's equivalent in Japan is only RM66k. What it brings to the table compared to the competition, I wouldn't pay a single cent more than RM80k, for this half-scale Merc G wagon not even close wannabe. Two thumbs down 👎👎
