I purchased my first Speedmaster Professional in 1971 because of its heritage, design and because it was an Omega. I was hooked for life with this watch. Earlier this year I purchased their updated Speedmaster sapphire sandwich version for the same reasons and also because of all the enhancements made to this current version. The love affair with the Speedy continues.
I’m a Speedmaster racing fan. Wear it with shorts and Tshirt or a tux and everything in between. Now the new Professional is an awesome watch and the same fashion points are in tact but, I love the color offset of the dials.
The speedy professional for me. The blue side of the moon is a close second for me though, but I’ve always lusted after the original Speedmaster, and to me it’s my first pick but it has to be a Sapphire Sandwich for me. That open case back is stunning

The Pro and ‘57 are watches I’ve admired for a long time, but when the time came for a chronograph, I went for a preowned Zenith A385 Chronomaster Revival and haven’t looked back. My daily wear to work is a Railmaster, that’s all I need from Omega for now.
Speed master Professional 100%. Not just because of the lunar connections, but it is also the most versatile one IMHO (especially based on my personal style)
I the speedmaster Broad Arrow 57 white Dial which I miss already. So the new 57 is always a good choice: Automatic movement, less thickness. But I might go next for the SM Chronoscope Panda. Same new bracelet, nice glass bottom. Love that watch 😍

Features of this Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, chronograph and moon phase. This Omega watch also measures 14.2mm in thickness and 48mm from lug-to-lug.
I own the Blue Side of the Moon and wear it on special occasions. However, my sapphire sandwich Professional is one of my daily drivers. Compared to the others, it is smaller, simpler, and more elegant. My steel bracelet dresses it up, whereas my sailcloth strap gives it a casual, sporty look.

My Omega Speedmaster Racing Ref. 326.30.40.50.01.001. Mine is in black so it has the “moon watch” look, but it has an automatic coaxial movement with a date function! Not the perfect watch, but I love it to the moon and back 😉.
The updated Speedmaster Professional iconic Moonwatch. Fortunately I bought it for my watch collection right after it first came out. I have the hesalite version with the black nylon strap to be closest to the the original design worn by the astronauts. I also have the Omega NASA logo black Velcro strap option which I generally wear on it😮😮
