I’m a little surprised that “Vail Resorts” the company was part of the disclaimer as something not to hate at. Affiliates and the Mountain understandable, especially over the accidents, but I would’ve expected every major skier to hate the conglomerate.
I know this video is exaggerated a ton but I really liked Vail when I was there. Granted there were no crowds on any of the days and one of them was a powder day so I guess I havent seen any of the truly bad
I was thinking of in the near future of going to Vail, but a week at the 'Sebastian' in February works out around on average £6,500 or $8,400 before you eat or get a lift pass, so for *me* I'd be looking in the region of $12,000. So, I'll think again. How's Aspen these days?
Never skied Vail but I've had some nightmare days at heavenly. What pain in the ass that place can be. It can also be super fun if you go at the right time and know where to ride.
the snow quality is no different than any other mountain in CO, and ive experienced relatively little wait for lift lines compared to other mountains in NA, never waited more than a few minutes and usually go about 20 days a year, also there is free parking serviced by a free shuttle but i guess some poser that is talking shit on the internet bc its fashionable to hate on vail arbitrarily wouldnt know that ❤
I wanna go to vail cause I wanna go to all the resorts at least once but dam being stuck on a lift with a rich snob and hot heads sounds awful 😅 gotta find a super slow day to go
@@SRGSkiing big oof but I ain’t paying all that money for a lift ticket to wait in lines! Affluent it is, I just hope their Porsche doesn’t hit me on the I70
I once shared a lift with a 70 yr old dude telling me how rich he is that he can feel free to park in the vail parking garage instead of taking the bus/shuttle 😂
Ykw, I've had one super nice experience with a rich guy who has a house out by Beaver Creek. Met him on the lift, he was super nice, we skied together all morning. However, I have also had several negative experiences, and quantitatively, several bad>one good
As a British skier with experience of a few Canadian resorts, I've been enjoying your videos and your great sense of humour. Great work!
I ski vail on weekdays and start at 8:30 A.M. But them I'm retired.
Same. Im not retired but I use my time off wisely.
@@je5406 Just to be crass: The girls are prettier in Vail.

Eh, just tryna cover all our bases. As the audience for these videos grow, so does the risk of something worse thna a hate comment.
@@SRGSkiingbros gonna get epsteined💀
Hopefully not 😰

We both really like Vail, just had to take the piss out for one video 😂
Your videos get me through the summer can’t wait for the ski season
I raced at Vail often as a teen in the mid 60's. In the 70's we always joked that Vail look like a "highway rest area as you drove in
Lovers can be huge huge or can be literally nothing just depends on the year
True true

Not much, if at all, better 😬
Never really liked vail but unfortunately I’m forced into I do business with them because all the good resorts in my area are owned by them
Yeah, that's how it goes, unfortunately
@@SRGSkiing Vail Co are now buying a few resorts in Europe. Can't see the Europeans putting up with the crap American skier's suffer from Vail Co.
There's not much the Europeans can do. Vail had a semi-successful first season of ownership

Glad you made it down that bump run at the end, looked like it was really tough
😂
I would've been happy if you did a whole video on just long lift lines at vail. Good video tho!

Vail: A Highway Runs Through It.
Several, if we count Gitalong Road 😂
I think you can hate the corp and love the mountain man you just dont know how to shred imo hahaha
Tbh we both really like Vail, but we felt like we were legally obligated to make a Vail HG since we have Breck & Keystone already 😂
A Hater's Guide to Vail Corp could run us 2+ hours 😂

Beaver Creek, A-Basin, Wolf Creek, or Telluride
