RV Renovation Tour: Large Full Time RV Family of 9.

- Come inside our 39ft fifth wheel and see what renovations we made before we moved our family of 9 into the camper to travel the nation full time to see every continental National Park. We completely redid the interior of our 2013 KZ Durango model number D358BHK. We removed all the wallpaper, window treatments, carpet and flooring. Then we repainted every wall and cabinet and put down new flooring throughout, a new backsplash in the kitchen and wallpaper in the bathrooms. The final decorations give it a country farmhouse feel.

So weird .. when you showed the birds with the music notes and the bathroom.. I cried, I think I was already feeling touched seeing you as a family loving the Lord. But I also was like , what's up with the birds , but I love birds so much , I absolutely have grown to feel such delight counting the different ones I see during the day , hoping the woodpecker would let me watch him peck away rather than just run around the tree, listening to the doves coo.. ect. But the birds are so symbolic and the bible talks about birds quite a bit and how God provides. And ofcourse all through the bible we have Ravens, eagles , doves ect. They praise the Lord in the morning when we wake. Birds are so awesome for sure. What a beautiful family and a blessing to see you all have this precious life and adventure together..🐦🦅🕊🦢🦉🦆🐣🐓🦃🐤🐥🐦🕊🦅🦆🦢.. I watch the Turkey's with the babies walk through our campsite, the ducks on the pond and tbh an animal I have no clue of what it is..😁😁.. 3 spread out tale feathers and a red face.. very interesting. 🤔

Love your renovations, and the white paint really brightens up the inside. Love the peel and stick backsplash and wall paper. Also, noticed from your before and after pictures that you put a lighter cover on the table, makes it look much better. The fridge/freezer looks much better with the white than the brown. Everything looks great.

How do the kids go to school? I raised 5 kids in a 5 bedroom house that was 100 years old with one bath and it was noisy and hard lol. We camped about April till October in a 32 foot with a bunk house. I didn’t go far until school let out and I’d drive them back and forth. Our camper had an add a room that zipped to the awning that made an additional 20 foot room and I’d send them out there when it rained. They had a tv out there games coloring paint playdoe. Enjoy them they grow up and are gone in the blink of an eye
Hey there! We have homeschooled our children for the past 12 years (I have an older daughter who is out of college and another in college presently) and are so excited to explore the things and places we have studied in person! The kids are loving being immersed in science and history...and we still do traditional work with curriculum as well in language arts and math. Our kids are enrolled in the Junior Ranger program with the National Park Service that dives them deep into the historical, biological and environmental subjects of each park and area. We are loving that so far😊 I loved hearing about your own journey...thank you for sharing that with us! We love hearing how others are finding their crazy❤️

A little late here, but wow, what an amazing job you guys did, your RV is so beautiful, and as you said, some things look easy to do, lots of paint and a thing here and there, and a total new RV. 🤩

When I read the title and saw you have 9 kids living in an RV! I thought OMG, YES! I can afford to have another baby!!
I have 2 kids and I want more but with saving for their college and expenses, I couldn't afford to have more. Seeing this gave me hope that maybe this is meant to be my way to do it.
Yes indeed big families are possible and wonderful!! God always provides🧡 Living in the RV for this season has helped us to focus less on stuff and more on familiy, friendships and experiences! It has truly been a blessing...even when it is challenging😊
This is giving me a lot of ideas and inspiration for me and my 6 cats. 😅😅 Tho I think I’d be happy just as a permanent dweller somewhere nice around nature.
We are so glad we can give you a few ideas! Our daughter loves cats, but sadly we have one with a major allergy so we can’t have one. We did a video on a Cat Cafe my older daughters and myself visited...so we did get to love on a few :)
And being stationary sure has its blessings as well! We do miss it sometimes. When we do, we just park for a few weeks and enjoy the downtime.

Sandra Westley from the UK the best bit of our Christmases was going up north to see my Granny, but she only had a 2 bedroom house, both bedrooms had 2 double beds, my Mum and Dad had one bed and we slept at the bottom, 4 in a bed, my Aunty and uncle had the other bed with there children, then Granny shared a bed with her daughter with her my granddaughter at the bottom, and the other bed was for my uncle, I look back and my Christmas es were the best in the world, we loved all squashing into the beds. All these people that comment about kids must have there own space drive me bonkers you couldn’t years ago and if you cannot now you’ll still live, and look back on all the fun.

Was it tricky at all to do the flooring around the slide out seam? Also, which ikea sofa is that?
It really wasn’t, but we did have to put a few small tack nails in to secure it a bit better than just the peel and stick. So far it has all held up really well😊 We bought the Friheten IKEA couch and love it so much!

Hey there! We move every fews days to maybe 2 weeks at the most (except during the shelter in place). We have secured everything to the wall for travel so we don’t take any wall covering down. We positioned them around slides so we didn’t have to move them. The only thing we put away are those items on the tables or counters.
