These last few videos has inspired me to archive all of them. 🤣 So far here are a couple of highlights of Gems. How about 8 for #8.
      1) He wanted his Jets to Pursue Rodgers over Lamar
      2) He wanted his Jets to Pursue Derek Carr of Lamar
      3) He said that the Falcons shouldnt pursue Lamar because it could offend Desmond Ridder
      4) He said the Commanders shouldn't pursue Lamar because it could offend Sam Howell
      5) He said he didn't want to traffic in rumor but constantly pushed unsubstantiated rumor that Lamar had bad eating habits
      6) He said that it was unreasonable for any team to give up 2 1st round picks for Lamar
      7) He said the only reason Lamar didn't repeat his MVP season was that season was a fluke or that he couldn't stay healthy (never left room for it being due to coaching/cast)
      8) He denied Greg Roman could have been the problem since Lamar won an MVP with him.
So if you're wondering why he's giving so much pushback and pretending it's hindsight because of how foolish he and Chris looks.

I normally like Eisen, but what the hell? Eating Habits and Studying Problems? Lamar doesn't have a weight or stamina issue. Its funny, when player are negotiating all of sudden, they are problematic. Collusion happened at the top, because he doesn't have an agent. Nothing about that crippling the team, nothing about them not able to add more weapons, outside of Burrows very good weapons and Herbert’s Very good weapons.
Nothing about the Owner not being able to survive and the team going down hill because Lamar Negotiated a $200+ million dollar to fully guaranteed deal without an agent.

Rich was carrying water for the league owners and he also just didn't want Lamar on his Jets. It's hilarious if you go into the archives of all the videos he has on this topic. He wanted not only Aaron Rodgers but even Derek Carr on the Jets over Lamar. He said that the Falcons/Commanders shouldn't pursue because it could offend Desmond Ridder or Sam Howell. He of course pushes the idea that Lamar's MVP season wasn't repeated because it was either a fluke or he couldn't stay healthy. Left no room for the option that Greg Roman was holding him back. Just like he said teams that Lamar went to would have to completely overhaul their offense, as if Lamar isn't capable of making throws that a Mariota/Ridder could make on the Falcons. It's all laughable and ppl like Rich keep doubling down making it look worse.

It's a few factors at work in addition to that. Rich Eisen wanted Derek Carr or Aaron Rodgers on the Jets over Lamar. A take that looks so ridiculous in hindsight to rationalize it has to pretend it's hindsight or that Lamar was never really available. He's also a huge Joe Burrow fan and one who has asserted that it's Mahomes/Burrow the next decade plus. That's why he's been doubting Lamar and the Ravens all year. Lamar cementing himself as the clear cut true rival for QB of this era adds an even greater layer to the disappointment. Im not saying Rich is a full blown hater, but lets just say he may not be pulling for the Ravens to go all the way.

The Ravens would have matched any rational offer another team signed Lamar Jackson to. The only way the Ravens don’t match is if a team signs him to a ridiculously high offer, like the $300 million guaranteed that Adam Schefter threw out there. A team would then not have enough to build a high quality rest of the roster.

    • @PD-qu8dq
      @PD-qu8dq 5 месяцев назад +3

      That’s Not True.
All they needed to do was give him $300 with $231 guaranteed. Puts him at $60 per year for a 5 year or $50 per year for a 6 year.
Lamar has shown throughout his career that he doesn’t need playmakers to win, he just needs them competent and not dropping easy passes and touchdowns.
Lamar could take the terrible patriots to the playoffs.
Do you think Lamar and Saquon or Lamar and Scary Terry wouldn’t be a site to see?
Aaron Rodgers would have had Davante Adams in Green Bay while he was making $50 million, only if he made it clear he was staying in Green Bay.
That would have been a top 5 paid quarterback and the highest paid wide receiver in the league, on the same team.
The browns had not only Deshaun but also the Highest paid Defensive player and the highest paid person outside of the top 10-15 quarterbacks in the league.

At the end of the day the NFL colluded against Lamar and the Ravens still ended up paying him whether it’s because he’s black or the fact that he can run they tried to devalue him. It didn’t work because besides Pat there is no one better than him. The NFL hates it possibly because of a marketing issue when it comes to black running QBs. This is why they push bums like Daniel Jones and Brock Purdy. The bottom line comes before skill. These talking heads don’t like Lamar either because he makes them look stupid just like this Rich guy. To conclude it’s a marketing issue NFL teams aren’t necessarily being racist they just believe that the white QB is more profitable also I don’t believe the offensive coordinators really know what to do with athletic QBs of any kind. Jalen hurts jersey sales proved the NFL’s theory in marketing is null we just have to wait for the league to catch up to the players and then this won’t be an issue.

And I dont see why Atlanta is being singled out like its the only team with QB issues. Arthur Blank wasnt the only person asked about Lamar who said no thanks.
Having witnessed how the Watson and Wilson trades went for the teams that traded them it would have been like seeing two guys walk across a field and get blown up, while thinking "It'll be different for me :)" and going across it yourself.
The Falcons can get Fields on the cheap OR draft a guy they like. It's not Lamar or NOTHING, and never was.

And every time Joe Burrow faces Lamar guess what he does he loses. And why we still using what I call lame excuses, or reasons for not wanting to take Lamar no matter what happened one thing was for sure and two things for certain he’s going to recover from his injuries which he has and he’s going to be dynamic that’s number two number three Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Jaylin, Hertz, and all and and and including Patrick Mahomeshave superstar elite receivers and in his 2019 MVP season give me the name of the superstar elite receiver that Lamar played with. He literally dragged the team on his back so come on y’all stop with all this excuses for these teams they came who comes out on the very same day that the thing was now and make it very and in fact, I watched all of them, and some of them said they’re so empathetically, and some of them said with so much arrogance that they did not want Lamar and some of them now being fired those same teams losing their job the dumbest thing I ever heard heard

First of all I doubt Baltimore would’ve let him go so other owners would’ve just been jacking up his price after being stung by what Cleveland just did. I wouldn’t have gone after him for 2 reasons. The first being he quit on his teammates. I don’t think his injury was enough to end a season and he made it sound like whether he was healthy or not, he wasn’t playing until he got paid. Secondly, he still wasn’t that good of a passer or at reading defenses. Turns out he needed a different offense but I still don’t want my $50 mil QB running as much as he does. In the pocket he’s so much more protected than running. Watching these running qbs get beat up week after week would be too nerve wracking. He’s been much better at getting down instead of trying to score on every play, but still. The way they’re going they should make it to at least the afc championship game. We’ll see. 1 playoff win is pretty rough, as good as their team has been. Tho this year their defense is #1 even tho he’s not on top of any qb stats, he doesn’t have to be.

CMC is the first team all pro running back and could have been an MVP with 2000 plus total yards.
Kittle is an all pro tight end, has 1000 yards receiving.
Deebo is an all pro wide receiver, has almost a 1000 yards receiving but has over a 1000 total yards this year.
Aiyuk is a thousand yard receiver.
Lamar lost his all pro tight end, his #1 running back, his wide receivers have been had the drops and injury issues all season.
The leading rusher on the ravens is Lamar.
The wide receivers have had multiple games of dropping easy touchdowns.
His top receiver has 850+ yards.
But he still has gave his team every opportunity to be undefeated right now.
He went undefeated after losing his #1 target and best weapon.

Now new OC and scheme, better wrs, better coaches and no injury 2 Lamar. He on a tear against the league. So what u just said is false cause this team has been mostly home grown through the draft, sprinkled with some good vets and 2 great free agent signings.
