      @@MusMasiThat is what I was thinking! Heck, as a unanimous MVP, most people would be saying, "I'll eat what Lamar Jackson eats. Maybe I'll gain some speed, too!" This is why I believe this is Lamar Jackson's year! God's trying to tell the Lamar Jackson haters something! Should Lamar Jackson go to the Super Bowl, win, and get the Super Bowl MVP, that would be the ultimate slap in the face to all the Stephen A Smith's, Emmanuel Achos, the Mad Dog Russos, Eric Manginis, Bill Polians, Sterling and Shannon Sharpes, and little Miss Quarterbacky whoever she is!

    Adam’s right. Lamar is a unanimous MVP, winning 80% of his games on a limited offense schematically and weapons wise, playoff appearance 4 of 5 years and no franchise even attempted to talk to him is 100% collision. Rams gave up 2 1s+ for Jalen Ramsey in 2019 and gave him 100M. 2 1s for Russ Wilson & a big contract and of course, the Watson trade, included 3 1s, a 250M fully guaranteed contract. A player that didn’t even play for a year plus and he had WAY worse issues than eating habits & work habits. Owners like Haslem, Irsay and Tepper are off the rail owners in their history alone make it hard to believe it was anything but collision. To not even talk to verify if he wanted a fully guaranteed contract, which was the narrative of why they didn’t want to sign him, is crazy

      @Silencedfixer You don't watch Ravens games lol. First you say "Huntley won games"... Last year, Huntley won 1 game and lost 5-6 after Lamar spotted this team 8 wins and was leading the division. Second, Lamar is actually 1-3 in the playoffs and his last playoff appearance was 2 years ago due to injury. People love to bring up playoff records like some of the greats didn't struggle in their first few years in the post season. Payton Manning for one started his post season career 0-3... You first have to show that you can lead your team to the playoffs to even have a shot at a SB. He has excelled at that but now with a new OC and maturity, he has the opportunity to change a few narratives

    • @matrixphijr
      @matrixphijr 8 месяцев назад +3

      @@kingbeyfan2598 First of all, Huntley's a backup so comparing him to your #1 is just dumb. They shouldn't be anywhere near the same ballpark unless your #1 is terrible. Second, Huntley won 3 games last year: Denver, Pittsburgh (Lamar has only done that once), and Atlanta, and only lost 2 so he had a winning record. We could discuss the playoff loss and how the officials botched the TD call on the "fumble" that gave Cincy the game. Huntley "lost" that game like the Lions "lost" to the Cowboys on Saturday - everyone knows the truth.
      Even going back to 2 years ago, which you're referencing as last year for some reason, people blame Snoop for blowing the 8-3 record the Ravens started with, but they forget he actually helped get them there in the first place. He played and beat the Bears to get them to 7-3, but people ignore or forget that and just credit Lamar with the win even though he was hurt. Then he "lost" to the Browns in a game Lamar started and was down 17-0 to Baker Mayfield before Huntley even touched the ball, and yet the Ravens only lost 24-22. Then the following week, he lost to Aaron Rodgers by 1 point due mainly to a failed 2 point conversion. In both those games, his passer rating was over 99.5. Then Josh Johnson played and lost to Cincy the following week, so Huntley was only 1-2 in games he actually started that season. Realistically, he should have a winning record as a QB, so dissing him to try to build up Lamar is stupid. Yes, Lamar is far superior now to what he was even a few years ago.

      They aren't incompetent. The Ravens didn't even give Lamar what he wanted. Between supbar stats for 2 years, injuries, immaturity and not willing to negotiate during a season, all those teams were turned off. Also, he was never a real free agent. For a team to even offer Lamar something it would shutdown negotiations for other players for 5 days just for the Ravens to match anyway. Why do people make up all this nonsense to make Lamar look better? Lamar was the one that operated without an agent with no willingness to negotiate during the season. Lifelong ravens fan here. It is true ravens would of most likely matched most offers, but thats not fully true. If anyone has followed thw ravens for the past few decades they should know how they operate. If a team came and offered 3 first rounders and fully gauranteed, there is not one single chance the ravens match that. The ravens value draft picks more than most franchises. If they got 3 or 4 picks for lamar, that would of been enough to let him go and move on. The fact that no team offered fully guaranteed and draft picks is wild. You could of had the best player in football and a boost in ticket sales, jersey sales, and a bunch of new fans.

    I don’t understand how people can say or have rumors with Lamar Jackson’s eating and work habits I mean when you watch the games do you see someone who is unfit? Or if you say his injuries are because of his lifestyle, there are way more quarterbacks in the league that have missed more games than him but you never hear people question their character. So what is it really about? And are there legitimate sources for these “rumors” or is this just so that people can have something to talk about in their shows?

    It's amazing how people try and mess with someone character at all cost just to believe in the narrative that there is a level playing field. Keep dreaming you'll wake up from your nightmare soon. Lamar, we got you. It's funny to me that you finally have an offense and look at the difference.

    When Rich said that teams didn't look at Lamar because he was hurt the last two seasons, I think that's bullshit. Look at what my Broncos did to get Peyton after a serious neck injury. Look at what the Saints did to get Drew Brees after a torn shoulder. That's a cop out.

    A 26 year old former mvp and nobody attempted to get him is absolutely ridiculous! Rich lost major respect for this take.i didnt hear none of this about Joe Burrow and he stay hurt& signed a big deal.

    this whole take is BS… He’s Black southern not Articulate enough for them… he’s humble minds his business and has no drama.. the man won Unanimous MVP and never even go a TV commercial.. yet Baker who had more commercials than TDs was praised for a mediocre rookie season… every Team that passed in him should be Ashamed… every team that’s picking top of the draft passed on him…Truth is Race took place.. point blank

    I can’t speak for the other 31 teams in the League, but the Atlanta Falcons swung and missed (badly) at Deshaun one year, staggered through the next season that ended with them benching Marcus Mariota for Desmond Ridder, and then , when presented with the possibility (however a long shot it might have been) of offering a recent MVP a contract, they took a look at Ridder after three or four starts last year and said “Nah dawg, we good”
    …and that seems perfectly sensible to you?
    When Atlanta Falcons management is concerned you can never completely rule out incompetence as an explanation for their actions, but for a team so obviously in the market for a quarterback whose skill set falls right into their head coach’s wheelhouse NOT to even test the waters while every other team in the league follows suit?
    Defies reason.

    The Steelers should of offered 300m fully guaranteed so ravens would be forced to match. Making the ravens weaker going forward with that much money going to the qb
