    Stu That tyre pressure monitor you have on the van if its the one that locks on to the tyre valve stem be careful as the little locking nut welds itself to the tyre valve and you can't get it off as a result you are unable to put pressure into the tyres as the locking nut is in the way. Put some grease on it to prevent it seizing. It happened to us had to take the wheels off and take them to a tyre place to get the valves replaced. 😪

    What a great video. We can relate to you. You are not all about trying to sell something to someone that they didn't really want or need. All you are saying is if you do need to change your battery consider lithum. You used the word if and consider. Well done Stu. Also you also mention the weight of the air con and made reference to the weight of power packs. This is so important. All to easy with all these large items to finish up overweight. This is something to always keep in mind if you are 3.500 ton limited. Having spent 25yrs in road haulage this is something very important. I have listened to many you tubers telling us about this and that device but never a mention of the weight. I also loved you use water and fairy liquid to clean the black from the roof. I have always been a fan. Not necessary to use all these expensive items that by the way is more weight to carry. We all use fairy liquid in the kitchen. You 2 are so practical just like we are. Well done for an excellent useful video. Enjoy your forthcoming hols.

    • @TheRollingRucks

      So it’s 90 days out of every 180 day rolling. We use an app called Schengen which keeps track of it all for us, we actually got our full 90 days back the day before we left which was pure coincidence

    Good choice of battery Stu. Going to get those for my new van and they are getting a good name for themselves. For anyone else struggling to squeeze on solar panels and every mm matters, you could use aluminium angle instead of the proprietary feet.

      They all differ so hard to say but most will have an slider button on to change from agm to lithium. Failing that check the manual of your charger. • @Ursulalb

    How much extra weight have you added to the van? We are looking at purchasing same van and doing the same upgrade of air con and solar panels. Just worried about the added weight.

    • @TheRollingRucks
      @TheRollingRucks  Год назад +1

      5.6kg is our added weight of the solar and 2kg for the mppt. The lithium battery is half the weight of lead acid batteries so they actually cancelled each other out in terms of weight even though we now have 5 times more ah available XxTR

    Can I just change my old battery for a lithium battery without changing anything else? Just old one out new one in its place?

    • @TheRollingRucks
      @TheRollingRucks  Год назад +1

      You will just need to check your battery charger. Most of them have a switch that allows you to change their setting from Lead to Lithium. Failing that just check the manufacturers instructions on it. XxTR

    Hi great vlog again, can I ask did you compare lithium underseat against others all looking similar to your chosen one, is there differences? All appear to be 230ah but massive variance on price point. Some are virtually double?? And did fogstar give you a discount code 😂 safe travels
