- L. Michelle and I finally get to ride The Lobster! While we miss The Orbit being here, East River Crawler was a ride we also both loved. The Lobster is faster and wilder than we remember in the past! Have you been on it yet? It has been worth the wait!
Going on it first thing on my first trip in 2018! I’m happy it is finally back! Dig the new colors! I’m just glad that our crazy crustacean is still reliable for more than 40 years. 🦐😊
The Lobster ran great last year, and it's easily the best spinning flat ride in the park!

This is the oldest Schwarzkopf Monster 3 built in 1976. It is Quality made in Germany! In Germany it is known as "Die Krake,Octopussy,Polyp,Big Monster" This Exemplar is generally ouverhauled with new driving System and looks like new! Best Type of ride on the World!

I did the lobster last Saturday and it was amazing I loved it. So good to be back on one of my favorite rides.
Well, I know where the horn for the Orbit is now !!!!
Sean Ninneman I thought that was the same horn from when it was East River Crawler.
JiggidyNDG nope... it used to have a single tone. This is that wonderful dual harmony from the Orbit !! Check out your video Last Ride on the East River Crawler.. You'll hear the old horn
Sorry, I was at work earlier and couldn't analyze the horns. You are correct that this is The Orbit's sound. East River Crawler's was weaker by comparison, kind of puny compared to The Orbit. I noticed in my last ride on The Orbit video, the horn honked a little bit longer, but it is indeed the same horn.
You sure know your stuff about the park, and I know I can always count on you to clarify or correct me, and I appreciate it and your knowledge and history of Great America!

It's faster now !! Been riding this since it was The Lobster originally!! They even used the same font for the new sign. Nice to see it back in black too..
Did you walked past by the Demon? There's a red balloon in front of the sign & the tunnel from the movie IT. It's right close between the quene line & the Underworld.

JiggidyNDG ur dumb don't go on saturdays go on fridays and Sunday's those days you could get nearly all the rides and houses done

Raul Ojeda I went Saturday my brother works there and he drops me off so I went to the park and they said they couldn't let me in cause they have the max amount of people and so I had to sit at the pic up area for 5 fucking hours
