Winter Bird Photography - Sigma 150-600mm | Nature Photo Walk

Ringing in the new year with my Sigma 150-600 lens in -18 degrees!
I ventured out into the freezing cold to visit a beautiful park here in the city. It truly felt like a winter wonderland, with blue bird skies and frost lingering on the trees. I went hoping to spot some geese and a variety of birds, but I got much more than I expected. In the distance, I spotted at least three swans. I was so glad I brought my Sigma lens along - it gave me just the reach I needed to capture the moment.
