Thank you for being so transparent! I went through the same things and eventually got a partial hysterectomy nearly 18 years ago. Now my poor daughter is experiencing the same things. Her fibroid is the size of a grapefruit and grew since her last appointment. She changed her lifestyle and food choices 6 months ago, and that is helping to alleviate some of her pain. I’m praying for her, because it’s her and my son-in-laws biggest wish to become first time parents. She’ll be 30 next month. Praying for you too! God bless you. ❤
Back in 2015 I found out I was pregnant. When I went to the doctor they told me I was pregnant in my tube's and I needed to have surgery. When I had the surgery, the surgeon told me I wasn't pregnant in my tube's but I had several fibroids near my tubes and my baby didn't make bc of the surgery. They removed the fibroids. Now Im 45 and I recently found out I had several more fibroids that had came back. I decided to have a hysterectomy bc I didn't want to keep having the surgery to remove the fibroids. It was a hard decision to make, but having a hysterectomy was a great decision for me. I hope everything works out for u and God bless you
The day of my appt at the vein clinic I found out I was pregnant but it was an ectopic. The fibroid was pressing down on my uterus. I had to take methotrexate to kll it to n off so my tube wouldn’t rupture.
I had a myomectomy in 2008.... they are back now in multiples since 2013. I think I'm gonna get the big H ...since I'm in full blown menopause. Best wishes to you.

Exactly, I’m 61 years old. Years ago In my 40’s I had 2 fibroids 1 the size of a grapefruit the other the size of a grape. My doctor want me to have a hysterectomy but I refused. After years of being in pain. When I started going through menopause my pain subsided and the fibroids got a smaller in size. It’s so small my doctor told me I’ve only had one, the other one was gone. So with menopause the fibroids do got smaller and the pain subsides. Toya I’m praying for you with your fibroids to leave not only get smaller but leave in Jesus Christ mighty name, Amen 🙏🏽
I have fibroids too & have had them for 10+ yrs now. And my doctor tell me they're small. I don't have hardly any pain & pray to God I never do. I pray you can get them to shrink or remove yours & for God to be with you in whatever your decision is. I schedule MRIs and other diagnostic testing at my job & you're right about being in the machine. I hear it all the time from patients about how they don't like being closed in it. We have an Open MRI machine for patients that are claustrophobic or weigh more than 350lbs, but I'm glad your 1st one wasn't bad. Thank you for sharing your day with us & hope you'll keep us posted.🙏❤😀

Lord, the things we as Queens go through. I had an iron transfusion for almost four years. Keep doing what you need to take care of your health. I do know that iron can make you constipated, especially around that time of month. Bananas and applesauce helped me. sometimes. 🙏 ❤
Hey, what exactly is an iron transfusion? I am anemic and have low iron where I had to get 4 blood transfusions, and at times I still feel very tired and weak not having any strength at All so I'm just looking through the comments to see if anyone would say some over the counter iron pills they recommend but now I would like to be educated a little more on what is the iron transfusion...
@@syreetajohnson812it’s an iron infusion and basically they inject you with iron. My doctor does it in a series of 4 sessions so as not to have a reaction from too much iron at once. They’re basically just giving you a boost of iron you’re missing in your body.
Hi Toya, I had the same procedure done by Dr Lipman several years ago. Dr Lipman is awesome! You will love the results. No more issues with Fibroids. Thank God!!

I had fibroid twice, first time when I was 30 then 12yrs later I got them again I did not have any symptoms or pain at all . Had a hysterectomy 7yrs ago best thing ever.
Toya, speaking from experience, the traditional iron( ferrous sulfate) is beneficial. I have purchased a more holistic iron supplement from Dr. Bobby Price that has been much better for me. I dont have the usual constipation, and my nails have thrived.
Hey Toya I had the UFE a few years ago and I know for a fact every body reacts differently but that situation threw me into early menopause so just be. Careful with your decisions I wish you well

Hello. I know this video a month old, but I’m just viewing it. I like to read the comments because they sometimes help with informative information to look into. Do you mind sharing how you shrink your fibroids?
A patio party sounds like a real chilled vibe Toya you are so beautiful your daddy genes are strong looking like jashae praying for your fibroid surgery successful and quick recovery
I had UFE by Dr. Lipman back in March.I will say they do not prepare you for pain afterwards and the road ahead. I pray yours go smooth. I’m still recovering! I have 5, with 2 the size of grapefruits and the rest baseballs
Thank you Toya for sharing with us. I have only one fibroid and it’s causing me lots of heavy bleeding and clotting during my cycles so much that every few months I have to get iron infusions bc severe anemia.😢 I don’t want to get a hysterectomy bc I want to try for another baby eventually but whew 😢 the pain is a lot during my cycles.
Try reducing your meat intake, especially chicken & beef, dairy etc. To minimize the bleeding 1 tbsp braggs apple cider vinegar in a cup of room temp water works for me. I also take unsulphured black strap molasses and have an orange after.
Hi Toya, I just found out last month that my blood is low. I found out i had fibroids in 2018 and they never bothered me until May i passed twice and my blood pressure was high. I am now looking to get the iron infusion but I will also research the other procedure. I run a nutritional supplement company and the iron that i take does not constipate me but I also do a castor oil pack and that helps also.
Good morning Toya try not to overthink you're going to be just fine smart ambitious young lady everything is going to fall in place I went through the same thing the Lord is going to bring you to everything
Dr. Lipman at Atlanta Fibroid center did my procedure a few days ago as well. Now I'm day 7 post opp and I'm up and moving around slowly, feeling somewhat back to my energized self. No pain at/near incision site. My biggest issue was the vomiting for about 3 days after the procedure and mild cramping (nowhere near the same as the excruciating pain I'd been dealing with in left pelvic area for months). I'll take that over that pain anyday. Im happy I did it, as of right now. I was actually hurting in my left pelvic area the morning that I went in. After the procedure, the pain there was gone. Cant wait to see the progress over the next 3-6 months.
You really DONT have to get the X-ray mammogram and can request the 3D ultrasound. It’s your choice. And if something is found on the X-ray they send you for the ultrasound because it looks deeper into the tissue.
Thank you for sharing. I have really big fibroids and I was so scared to get them removed bcuz my gyn first gave me the option of a hysterectomy. I found a new Dr. and I'll want to explore more options.
I’m recovering now from a hysterectomy. I still have my ovaries. I thought it was going to be in a lot of pain surprisingly I wasn’t.So far everything is going good. The first 3 days was rough but im doing much better now.
Happy you are feeling somewhat better. I had some feminine bleeding issues back in 2019. And was forced to take iron pills as well. One tip that I can suggest to you is to take a stool softener daily or be sure to eat foods daily that will increase your bowel movements😊. Take care!
Toya I’m praying that your procedure is successful to remove the fibroids. 🙏🏾 Years ago my sister had a myomectomy after she lost her baby because of the fibroids. The surgery worked well for her and now she has two kids. Tfs your story. The patio looks beautiful and soo peaceful, love the curly hair on you! 🥰❤
Thank you for taking us through your journey. I am going through the same thing and I wanted to see what other options are out there since I had the surgery and they came back.
At the Vitamin Shop: Liquid Iron ( Blackberry Vanilla) you'll love it! Sea moss ( Black Seed oil) Ashwaganda Root liquid. Nah, let me tell you a story 😊. My iron was Critical low a few years ago. Due to heavy periods.. The Dr office called me to go ASAP to the ER and do an iron infusion. I reached it. My spirit was bothered. I REFUSED to go. The whole weekend I prayed and ordered Sweet potato and Bake potatoes and Salmon fish to eat. I immediately started feeling a little bit better. I took my vitamins liquid I doubled it because of my Critical low iron 😊. I've been doing the same thing for a couple of years now. Take your vitamins and eat fish 🐠🐟🐠🐟. Sweet potato 🍠. It boosts it up. 😊 God bless you ❤️.
I agree with the fish. I also suffer from low iron and vitamin D. I have been eating a lot of salmon, watermelon, and pomegranate cranberry juice and I have been feeling good. I have one fibroid and I’m tired of trying to figure out what to eat. U can’t eat nothing cause they feed on pretty ouch everything. It’s annoying 🙄
Thank you for sharing your story !! That’s brave of you to do because a lot of women are very private when it comes down to this topic so I’m glad your bringing awareness , and you’re so right ,a lot of us women go through this horrible thing called fibroids. I had fibroids , and it was the worst thing that I’ve ever encountered. I went through the majority of the symptoms you were talking about fatigue , heavy cramping. Heavy, bleeding, clotting, etc. one day I got my phone and I researched on different Options because doctors nowadays they love pushing hysterectomy and myomectomy ,so I found a another option called uterine fibroid embolization also known as UFE and when you mentioned it, I was like thank God that there are some doctors are knowledgeable and speak on different options to patients ,not just the normal surgery . You chose a very good procedure. Trust me you will not regret it. I did mines November 2023 and trust me less recovery time ,less bleeding during your menstrual cycle.,Your energy levels go up ,you would see major changes and I do not regret it. I live in Florida and I did my procedure at the university of Miami . Wishing you all the luck and you got this.😊
I found out I had two fibroids in 2016. Two the size of a quarter. The specialist told me I had two options. A hysterectomy or laser surgery. I was bleeding so much and pain was awful. However, I decided not to do any surgeries after speaking to people that had experience with this. Mine were so small I didn’t feel the need and I just decided to tough ou the pain. I changed my diet, now today, the pain is gone and the bleed ing is not as bad or don’t last as many days. I am 51, I figured I will hit menopause soon and it’s not really affecting me too much. I hope you do what is best for you. 🙏🏽
Always puts a smile on my face, such a pleasant person. Glad you're doing ok toya & i wish you, your husband, children and family in general, the best, stay blessed.
Thank you soo much for this video. I recently saw my gyno and was told I had 2 plum size fibroids. And her initial recommendation was to remove my uterus then when I start crying in her office she asked me if I have something else going on. I don’t have children yet and will like to have some. After that she recommended the Myfembree pill that is suppose to stop the blood supply to them. Im going to need to see a specialist too
I have had the UFE procedure my Fibroids got smaller but you must change your diet meaning what you eat. The over all procedure no PAIN down time minimal went to after 2weeks no heavy lifting at all.
I had the procedure you are talking about to shrink the fibroids back in 2007 and it works. I use to have really bad cycles but no more. Best thing that happened was the procedure.
I had the Myomectomy years ago, they removed 5 large Fibroids on my uterus. I'm in the same situation. I just had my MRI to see the Fibroid specialist.. I have 3 that grew back and causing so much pain and pressure in the pelvis.. I'm considering getting the UFE to kill the blood flow.
Well I had issues with fibroid but had to have a hysterectomy because I was losing to much bleed every month. Praying for you Toya, this to shall pass.❤❤❤❤
I had surgery back in 2017 to remove mine and I’m so thankful that I haven’t had any problems since then! Mine wasn’t as bad but I did bleed quite a bit. I’m also thankful that the doctor fixed it so I wouldn’t have any more periods 🙌🏾
Thanks for sharing your journey. I’ve been struggling with my anemia for so long, suffering through unexpected sharp pains in my lower abdomen and down my legs for a few years before I found out I had fibroids. I’m still deciding what option is best for me. I also have the same problem with taking iron supplements until I started taking MegaFood Blood Builder! It doesn’t upset my stomach at all!!!!! Praying for you chic 🙏🏽
I had multiple iron infusions and my firbroids were so big I looked four months pregnant. I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy and everything went back to normal. I didn’t do the UFE because they would only come back and I didn’t want to prolong my suffering so I got rid of them for good!
If you use the slow release iron it is much better for helping with the constipation. If you use over the counter, use a slow release like slow FE brand and the if you want a store brand, Target has a slow release iron. I also had a great prescription slow release from my doctor at one point. Surprised your doctor didn’t tell you about the slow release iron.
There is a procedure called HIFU - high intensity focused ultrasound for the treatment of fibroids, but there aren't that many places that do it in the U.S. It's a non surgical procedure that is an option that most Dr's don't discuss it because most insurance don't cover the procedure, but it is another option.
I think ima try the UFE also they want me to get the myomectomy but I haven’t had any kids yet and I only got 2 one kinda big one small so I definitely don’t wanna get cut and go through that pain so ima ask about the UFE and try another Doctor Thank you so much Toya for sharing your story you are not alone love💜💜💜💜💜 I appreciate this so much‼️ we got this💪🏽💪🏽
Toya, thank you for sharing your journey. I am 41 years old. Last year, I was told that I had fibroids. At that time 1 was the size of a a grapefruit and 2 of the others were sizes of a golf ball. I was told that if I wanted to have a child. I would have to wait until after the myomectomy and for the Uterus to heal beofre getting pregnant or I could get pregnant and then have the myomectomy. I ended up pregnant in the mist of making a decision. 3 months later, on a Sunday I told my best friend. I don't feel pregnant. I went to the hospital the next morning. They said that I need to be admitted for them to preform a procedure or for observation, because my HCG levels were not elevating properly. I declined. The doctor released me and made an appointment for me to see my OBGYN. I went to my doctor the next day (Tuesday). She tells me that we have to terminate the pregnancy. The baby didn't make it to the Uterus. The baby was not in the tubes. Because the fibroids had grown larger, they could not see were the baby was in my belly. I had emergency surgery the next day (Wednesday). They preformed a D&C. Went home that evening. Friday she said "the Pathologist didn't find any traces of any fetal tissue, so we have to give your these injections (3) that will dissolve the fetus and it will pass through you in pieces." The most traumatic experience ever😢. Now months later I get the MRI. A normal Uterus should weigh 80ml in volume. A liter of soda is 1000ml in volume my Uterus is weighing 898ml in volume. I am scheduled for a Hysterectomy. I will be keeping my ovaries. Which will not put me into early menopausal. Pray for me on my journey as I will pray for you.
Hey Toya i pray all goes well with your procedure Thank God i never had to experience this but im sure it is stressful but you got this! God got you, also you can go on RUclips and look up UFE procedure/ Atlanta Fibroid Center it will show you how its done just to ease your mind! God bless you beautiful 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
Only thing I dont like about the Ufe procedure is the ionizing radiation. I would ask the doctor if the procedure is killing off any good cells and is there any chance of developing cancer from the radiation.
I will keep you in Prayer,Goodluck on this new journey,I was lucky I had one fibroid it was removed and never came back ,I really believe our hair products have a lot to do with fibroids in African American women ,we have such a higher rate 🙏🏾❤️
I agree…use your resources & connections to look into natural healing methods too for the fibroids…esp since the UFE procedure will not zap them. Praying for wisdom/direction & healing

I hope you get better soon many woman have this problem that good you speaking to other women this a very important issue with women thanks again .
❤ so glad your taking care of this my excessive bleeding for yrs lead to heart failure. Stay blessed
Thank you for sharing. I have really big fibroids and I was so scared to get them removed bcuz my gyn first gave me the option of a hysterectomy. I found a new Dr. and I'll want to explore more options.
Thanks For Sharing About Your Fibroid Praying For U And God Blessed U Toya ❤ 💯.
Hey beautiful Continuing to keep you in prayer 🙏🏽 god got you covered 🙌🏽 ❤ 🙌🏽 🙏🏽
Praying for a successful outcome. When taking your iron pills eat something first.
I’m recovering now from a hysterectomy. I still have my ovaries. I thought it was going to be in a lot of pain surprisingly I wasn’t.So far everything is going good. The first 3 days was rough but im doing much better now.
I started sharing my healing journey last year. I was able to shrink mine. It is possible. Sending you healing prayers!
Please share I want to shrink mine. I just need something that will work.
That’s brave of you to do because a lot of women are very private when it comes down to this topic so I’m glad your bringing awareness ,
and you’re so right ,a lot of us women go through this horrible thing called fibroids.
Wishing you all the luck and you got this.😊
Toya you know who your Father is he is a Healer.
Praying for you beautiful 🙏🏽❤️❤️love your patio and this curly hair on you
I pray all goes well with your fibroids. Peace up, blessings up☺️
Hi Toya, have you tried doing the castor oil packs for your fibroids? Do some research this might help. 😄
Thanks for being transparent with your journey teaching me how to get through my fibroid story good luck you got this ❤
Always puts a smile on my face, such a pleasant person. Glad you're doing ok toya & i wish you, your husband, children and family in general, the best, stay blessed.
I honestly wouldn't do the uterine fibroid embolization. A gf of mine did the procedure, and now she has to get surgery to get them removed.
Hey pretty lady,
It's good your doing what you have to do.
Blessings 🙏🏽 always and everything gonna be alright.
I am 63 had a hysterectomy at 30 because of large fibroids praying for your total recovery 😊
Toya while in New Orleans check out the Goddess collection if you don’t want to have surgery and used the alternative method.
I had a total hysterectomy 10 years ago because of fibroids and I tell you that it was the best thing since sliced bread for me!
Praying your strength Queen 🙏thanking God in advance for a speedy recovery ❤️🩹. Bless up
I have MULTIPLE FIBROIDS too, unfortunately 🙇🏽♀️ I’m a stroke survivor and NOW THIS😷😫🫤
Praying for you, love you toya.
Prayers for healing ❤🙏🏿
Love seeing you more to come sending prayers your way ❤🙏🏾♥️🙏🏾 i love you Toya 😍 ❤
I think ima try the UFE also they want me to get the myomectomy but I haven’t had any kids yet and I only got 2 one kinda big one small so I definitely don’t wanna get cut and go through that pain so ima ask about the UFE and try another Doctor Thank you so much Toya for sharing your story you are not alone love💜💜💜💜💜 I appreciate this so much‼️ we got this💪🏽💪🏽
I just had that surgery,,last month...u will feel so much better...fibroids literally take over your life
You are so beautiful. I've always loved your spirit. Prayers on everything. 🙏🏼❤
Apple cider vinegar, honey, warm water helps to melt the fibroids
Love the video peace and quiet no neighbor dog barking😅 s/n may God continue to lay hands on you
*i love how transparent you are!*
*p.s. the end is hilarious* 🤣
Fibroids only goes away with hysterectomy. All those others procedures work for a while but they do come back
The UFE is great! I had it 2 years ago. Changed my life.
Only thing I dont like about the Ufe procedure is the ionizing radiation. I would ask the doctor if the procedure is killing off any good cells and is there any chance of developing cancer from the radiation.
wishing you well, Toya
I’m scheduled to do my UFE at the same center in Atlanta in August I can’t wait . I’m tired of being in pain
Toya Beautiful Queen💕I’m Praying For Your Complete Healing🙏💕
I will keep you in Prayer,Goodluck on this new journey,I was lucky I had one fibroid it was removed and never came back ,I really believe our hair products have a lot to do with fibroids in African American women ,we have such a higher rate 🙏🏾❤️
I agree…use your resources & connections to look into natural healing methods too for the fibroids…esp since the UFE procedure will not zap them. Praying for wisdom/direction & healing
My heart goes out to you!!! 20??? My god!
