You two ladies are soooo GOOD at everything you do, even storytelling. Ya’ll deserve to be performing (make that HEADLINING) the biggest stages out there. Larkin Poe, may God bless you in your rise to stardom . You’ve worked hard for it. 🌟🤙🔥👍💕👏
I just thougt the same thing when i watched one of your shows two minutes ago! 😂🤣🤕 Don`t hurt yourselves and keep on rocking. I love your music so much ✌💚💛❤✌ I`m sure you will make it into the Rock n` Roll Hall of Fame!!
I'm ambidextrous but I always played righthanded. Right hand guitars are plentiful. After heart surgery, I lost the feeling in my ring and pinky fingers. Both hands. I don't play anymore.
@@dudleydeplorable5307 I'm very sorry you can't play anymore. I have MS and struggle to play, and I know that it will stop me someday, so it makes me want to play even more. 👍
Then there's a clip I've watched a number of times now from the NY Blues Festival a few years back. Its when the band come back on stage for an encore, and play "Rolling & Tumbling", during which I'm convinced Rebecca almost decks Megan with a straight right to the chin !! 😂
Love to hear some backstage banter and tales from the road! Can’t wait for you to come back to Australia. Best show I’ve seen in years, your energy and sound are just incredible.
I've heard of occupational hazards, but oh lord poor Megan! 😮 Fast forward to present day and you've more than earned a grand stage where you can get close and jam without the worry of some incidental contact via guitar headstock! 🤘
There’s a video out there of Flyleaf where the bass player does a spinning horizontal windmill with his bass and the headstock clocked the small girl singer right in the jaw but she kept singing. Music at work
Looking forward to seeing you in two weeks! Try to avoid concussions, or any other injuries for that matter, until _after_ your show at Rodney Strong Vineyards. Like, waaay after. Decades after!
Change places and Meghan will be out of harms way !! That's why it's always good to be on the bass players right side 😁 . Just a thought, but after all these years it would be hard to change.
And not just Megan...remember a few weeks ago when RebL stumbled over a floor monitor? Being the consummate professional that she is...she ended up on her bum, still playing her axe, embarrassed but smiling, and then got herself up without stopping!! "The show must go on!"
And I thought they were just being professional and considerate of the audience by switching to opposite sides of the stage. But they were just getting away from each other.
Megan does come off as more timid than Rebecca on stage, which I had attributed to her signature standing lap steel playing requiring good attention to keeping her balance. But she displays a somewhat stronger personal presence in these back stage snippets.
They had their start with a band called "Lovell Sisters", which included their sister Jessica. The band existed from 2005 until 2010, after which Larkin Poe was formed.
the Lovells have been on the road since at least 2005. in their previous life as a bluegrass band they won a talent contest on Prairie Home Companion. Rebecca was 14, just a baby playing the mandolin and Megan not much older, they’ve been touring for most of the last two decades
Sorry to hear about these accidental collisions.😢 Remember, Rebecca: "what goes around comes around". 😁 Maybe you could wear a chest pad and a helmet when performing with that wild sister of yours, Megan. 😊 All kidding aside, please take care of yourselves and each other. ❤❤
Please stop hurting yourselves, be careful out there, we are worried now, me who thought only men are clumsy sometimes...I tease you, for I really admire and appreciate your talents a lot, keep on rocking Mesdamesdemoiselles Larkin Poe🎉 🎉 🎉❤
I hope my energy doesn't get in your way. It flys off the cuff before i could even say. So stand back. Give me some room. This energy is sweeping wider than the broom. Your gonna need a bigger dance floor if you want to dance with me. My arms don't come with eyes, baby, can't you see. Oh, can't you see.
Yikes. So sorry Megan got clocked. Love you, Slide Queen!! ✨👑✨
I love these girls!
Megan has the right stuff, the show must go on! Keep on rockin ladies love all you music!!!
The true definition of "troopers". (And siblings.)

it's all fun and games until your sister assaults you with a guitar, TWICE .....
Being left handed helped me avoid assaulting my bass player or other guitarists on small stages. Lol.

Everyone from Rebecca to Springsteen has taken a nose dive on stage recently. Step lightly.
Poor Meg!
Hey! Sorry I missed your vid live...love your music!
Glad Megan wasn't seriously injured. 😮❤

I thought Rebecca was going to say she was afraid she had harmed the guitar.
Larkin Poe super. барышни благодарю за Ваше творчество. всех благ Вам.
I didn't know concerts had to meet OSHA requirements.
I love the ladies. I'll never see them live. I had a ticket to see them in Fayetteville, AR. Sadly, at 70, I was too ill to attend.

Ouch occupational hazard I guess, the show must go on like you say, true professionals ❤
Sister on sister crime

Love the inside stories! Maybe you guys could just switch sides of the stage?

Красотки!!! ❤Люблю Вас и Вашу музыку -- творческих успехов и Удачи во всём🎉😊 Вам так обоим повезло с сестрой !!!....
Ok, but there's a method to Rebecca's madness Megan. I mean. You do notice she always stays on your right. Not to fret, but thats how it ends. Ha!

The show must go on. 🐦⬛
Yes the show must go on Megan, but not at the expense of health...that is worth more than any money trust me...
See Ya'll soon
“But I can't help falling in love with you”
what
and yet Megan is almost always on (Rebecca's left) the side of Rebecca's head stock. always some risk in rock and roll.
Yes, I noticed that head stock getting too close to Megan on several videos.😮
18 years on the road? Were you in bassinets?
They had their start with a band called "Lovell Sisters", which included their sister Jessica. The band existed from 2005 until 2010, after which Larkin Poe was formed.

They'd only take more risks with safety gear.
If they set a few rules, they should be fine. The suggestion of safety gear was some humor. @@frankboyd.
My attempt at humour.
Based on a hockey quote 😂
👍👍👍@@frankboyd.
I was playing bass on the worship team and accidentally beaned our drummer on the top of his head with my headstock one Sunday morning. 😬
Lol. Thanks.

I stabbed my brother in the eye with a Jackson headstock. The show did go on, blood and all.
OMG. Is that why she's so quiet ?
