Been lovin me some Martha since Martha Stuart Living came out in the late 90’s & I still enjoy her on Create TV! Although sisters definitely had some work/Botox done. She can barely smile let alone move the rest of her face! It’s like frozen in time! Props to her on looking so young without going too overboard😉👍🏼

Martha's adorable and can be forgiven for a little insider trading; she served her time. The Cheeto has committed crimes that got people killed - Serbia, Ukraine, etc. He deserves life in prison, but a third of our country still champion him. I don't get it.

I’m from Puerto Rico and the coquito is never made with coffee. But I’m proud she gave us recognition.

As a Puerto Rican I can safely say we don’t put coffee in our traditional coquito, ever. And we usually chill it overnight so no ice cubes either.

Traditional coquito doesn't have coffee 🤨 Yeah people make their own variations (pistachio, Nutella, turrón) but I've never seen a coffee one.
Traditional Recipe
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups (1 15 oz can) cream of coconut (like coco lopez)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup white rum
cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)

She clarified that it was a "take" on the Puert Rican Coquito. That means the Coquito is just the base and then you do someting new with it.

The original Puerto Rican Coquito does not include Coffee. Though I know ppl that add their own touch...( Ice cream, coffee, vanella extract, raisins and so on). What ever way, it's a very exotic and delicious drink. And just a FYI... Piña Colada also originated in Puerto Rico.
My husband is from PR and makes this every holiday. Never has he put coffee in it

@@hellokoreanadventure8044 My family has kind of a secret recipe thing going on but what most people do is basically all the same ingredients Martha listed for her version except it's doesn't have coffee in it. So everything else was right, but I would suggest you use a puertorican rum. 😉 some people add cream of coconut for added sweetness and coconut flavor .
I believe she did make thousands of cookies because of all the burns on her arm. There is a difference in care between 1 batch of cookies and trying to do 20 at once :D
