- We really enjoyed our 3 day stay in the Jungfrau region (link below for the previous 2 days)! This is our last day there and we spent the day hiking to epic views. We then took many many many trains to get to Zermatt so we can check out the matterhorn. The best part was definitely riding the mountain scooter down a mountain hill.
Overall, we both liked the Jungfrau region a lot more since it had endless hikes/adventures and we can't wait to go back! Maybe we didn't go to the right places in Zermatt (or maybe it's more of a winter ski place) or the weather was less good?

Great videos with plenty of great info. Thanks for sharing your trip. Can you tell me where you stayed in Wengen and how you liked it. Thanks again
Thank you for watching! We stayed in Hotel Alpenruhe (booked about 4 months in advance since we went in peak season and directly on their website) and really loved our stay. Fantastic views, great location (walking distance to train station), and breakfast where you get freshly cooked eggs however you like it! Would definitely stay there again if given the chance!
Aloha from Hawaii! Thank you for sharing. What month you guys go?
Thank you for watching! We went in the beginning of June
As a Swiss, views are better in the Jungfrau region but the Matterhorn on a sunny day is something to behold. Also, if you like winter sports, Zermatt is VASTLY superior to Jungfrau region. Better town as well, better restaurants, bars, après ski etc.
ahhh that's super good to know! We love winter sports so hope we'll get the chance to visit Zermatt in the winter!
Thank you. We will be there mid June 2025. Our trip will start in the Dolomites. We weren't sure if we wanted to visit Zermatt. After watching your video we are thinking we will skip it and head to Chamonix.
Thank you for watching! Super glad it can be helpful!
Go to Zermatt instead of Chamonix, trust me. Chamonix is polluted, full of cars and the mountain is way more disjointed to travel around. Zermatt is a once in a lifetime visit.
1:00 Complaining about having to take «two trains, a gondola, five chairlifts» in the Swiss Alps while people would just die for that... 😭🤐🤣
haha you're so right, honestly i would love to be back on those chairlifts right now 😭
