This helped me so well I'm 12 and braiding my own hair my mom even told me she didn't know where I added in the hair. So I asked my grandma who would give me a truthful opinion and she said the same thing. thank you
As a Grandmother, I have been trying to learn to do braiding for my oldest Grandbaby. It has taken a lot of sessions to get it right. Thank goodness she loves me as much as I love her. Your tutoring videos have cleared up a lot of misinformation ou there. Bless you for the help and making my baby happy!!,
Wow. I’m sooooo happy your vids came up in my feed!!! I am almost 50 years old and still learning. I have two girls and one of them won’t let anyone else braid her hair but her mommy. Love my Mia. No matter if it takes three days, she still wants only me to braid her hair. I’m not the best but have been researching forever to find someone that can teach these techniques precise and concise. Thank you for your willingness to share your expertise! Kudos!
She is the real deal. She tells you the truth without trying to hide stuff. She is the only Person that gives you information that really helps better the new braider get better. Thank you.
I’m about to cry...... I desired to be taught this exact step that you are teaching. I’m so thankful for you. You’re God sent. I wish I could meet you in person 🙏🏽🖤🤎💋
Dear Vandy, you are a WONDERFUL teacher. You speak clearly, you give hand cues, you show multiple examples, you film close up, you work slowly, you repeat key points, and you are endlessly patient. I appreciate you sharing your skills with us. I appreciate how much time you give us from your life. Because of you, my daughters all look polished. And I’m now one step closer to my goal of being World’s Best Dad.

Love ur vids! I am a black girl with a white momma who I LOVE ❤ but we both struggle with my hair. I have knee surgery in a couple days and I need a protective style since I will not be able to shower long enough to deal my natural curls. Thank you for helping me learn how to start and feed in braids KEEP IT UP MY LOVE 😊
Thank you!!! I just paid almost $200.00 for box braids & essentially left with “plaits”. This braider braided my box braids the exact length of my hair... short pieces, long pieces, omg! & she would not extent my length... Just *THANK YOU!!!*
I have watched so many of these braiding videos but I just couldn't SEE what they were doing so it didn't make sense to me! I heard it described so many ways and seeing it is the only way I finally understood, thank you so much for this!!! I love the techniques you shared and in the first bit already you helped me because I figured out the "borrowing" from other sections to even things out but I wasn't sure why sometimes it looked like a seamless transition and other times it was obvious! You showed me it's cause I was feeding from the top and pulling it OVER top, now I know to go under and take from the bottom of the section. Thank you so so so much!!! This is where it's at for us visual learners.
Thanks so much. Best tutorial I've seen so far, especially the ombre which looks so smoothly done. I'm going to practice, practice, practice. Never too old to learn a new technique.
Wow I have to say that this has been the best tutorial on braids!! My kids are biracial (Italian/Black). My sister-in-laws will not teach me as they're like well you learned how to do your husband's (their brother) locs off RUclips & mastered that learn how to braid. I have RA in my hands so it's very hard, but im so happy to of found you! Thank you for sharing your tips of the do's & don'ts on hair braiding!!
Hello today will be my first day doing box braids for my daughter .. I learned how to cornrow from RUclips back in 2010 for my daughter… I feel more comfortable with me doing her hair than anyone else so why not learn❤️🥰 me and her are natural so it take a lot of patient when doing both our hair. It’s well worth it.
First time watcher and I’m hooked, it made a huge difference showing how to do it with another color hair! Thank you and I am proud to say I’m a student now.
Omg yes! The question at the end has one of the best answers I’ve seen! I have high porosity hair and Murray’s edge wax curls me and ebin softens me after about 20-30 mins. High porosity hair is a nightmare! The grease/oil definitely helps!
I’ve watched so many videos trying to understand and you explained it so well! Thank you for the details and great camera angles so we can see it. Thanks!
I watched a few videos and as great as they were it took me watching this video to get it.. I watched this video one time and had it.. Thank you for using a different color and being a great teacher.. I was able to do my daughters hair and she loves it!
I'm braiding my hair as I'm watching your video I decided to add some color into my hair and I actually did it you doing a great job with these videos I feel more confident in my braiding
I see you have the hair braiding rack or as I like to call it braiding easel, I was wondering if you could make a video on how to separate already stretched hair for feed ins and knotless braids?
I love how you teach! You are very clear in explain and demonstration. You started from basics and your voice is friendly. Loved everything about the video! Great job!
I haven’t tried this yet but watching this has made me much more confident. This Method makes so much sense. I was doing exactly what you said not to do previously. I think I may be able to give my daughter the bday style she wants after watching this 🤞🏾 Thank you for sharing
Girl you're awesome. I had synthetic dreads for a while and have made and installed many sets myself, but I'm a bit over it for now. Now I have a whole new door to run through! I thought I was at the end of my synthetic hair journey but I'm starting a new one. Thanks so much for your videos!
Hello Ms.Vandy I'm new to ur channel n I am a white female and I taught myself how to braid when I was very young. I braid my hair myself and I've been trying so hard how to learn how to feed in the hair without leaving the night in the front so I just wanted to let you know that I watch your tutorial and you help me so much so I just wanted to say thank you and you are great I look forward to your next class
I have stepgirls with mixed hair. And I cannot do feed ins or anything with extra hair. All I can do is braid. Sometimes I ask their mom to do it when it comes to box braids and feedings. Your very helpful. Actually the most helpful!
Thank you so much for all the videos the way you explain and the things you cover are very helpful I spend so much money on my daughter and people not being consistent i definitely appreciate you teaching me! Thanks Vandy!
Thank you so much! Especially for sharing the comment from last weeks video. My ends are blunt from a recent cut PLUS the “braid gold” curls my hair up. All the answers I needed in one video. Thank you so much for sharing your talent, it is so appreciated. Much love to you. ❤️
Ohmygosh! You are a freaking god sent!!!! I can not tell you how many times iv watched videos adding hair &been clueless STILL!!! You using a diffrent colored peice of hair really mad A WORLD of difference I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! THIS VIDEO IS EVERYTHING!!!😍

You are awesome!!.. now I know why my braid's look funny. Your camera shots was amazing 😍.. I'm new to the braiding and adding hair so what you showed me today on here is what I needed to know , So thank you so much...
Thanks for this. I’ve been braiding my own hair for a while now and I usually just grab a chunk of hair and start on the two outer strands. This really helps.
Thank you so much for this! I am used to doing the box braids but definitely not feed ins. I’m going to try this for my daughter with a rainbow ombré for back to school. I also love your little videos. They were funny! Definitely just subscribed.
Just want to say thank you for such an amazing video! My hair braider tried her best do knotless but they tapered out half way through so I decided to add hair to make it look full and even. This video was SO helpful! New subscriber! 🙌🏾❤
I don't like my braids to long because it's hard to sleep with them, even medium length get pulled sometime. Thank for the color changing class. Have a bless and wonderful day
I am so thankful for your page!!! I have two sisters that do hair and neither one of them have been able to teach me how to properly feed in hair, then I come across your channel and learn in less than 10 minutes they are gonna be hot! lol .
Omg! Thank you! Clear tutorial and to the point! Question about shine and jam and curling the hair is a game changer! So I put grease 1st then Shine and jam?
This is just what I needed. Braided my hair this weekend and my feed ins are “off” ..now I know it’s because I was adding the hair over instead of under!
I know this is an old video but OH SO HELPFUL!. I can't feed in from the root, so just adding extention is perfect and easy and amazing. Tank you for sharing your knowledge. Also, your voice is so soothing.
Awesome video. You explain and teach very well. I had no idea how to manually do ombré. I hope my braider can do that if I don’t find the ombré I want in the store.
So happy I found this! I know how to braid but I don't "know" how to braid. To keep it looking neat. Is there a video for when the hair is short and coming out the braid? Also, thank you so much for these
Love this video !! Can you please make a video doing a extended braided ponytail doing the feed in method please ??
That's literally what i want too! Yes please ma'am
This helped me so well I'm 12 and braiding my own hair my mom even told me she didn't know where I added in the hair. So I asked my grandma who would give me a truthful opinion and she said the same thing. thank you

I'm in my 20s finally learning how to do my own hair after being raised by non black people who had no idea and I am so grateful for your video 🙌🏿
I love the close-ups and the clear easy explanation and the fact that your hand doesn't cover what you're trying to teach us. Bravo!
