I was also stuck with this problem, the thing is im using a cheaper capture card. I just plugged my pulse3d directly to my laptop and used its built in mic. So now the headset serves as both input and output.

What if your monitor doesnt naturally have a speaker?
do i need an elgato capture card for this? i have a different capture card or HDMI splitter.
My elgato 4k capture utility app is up to date but theres no where on there in the settings that I can change the audio. Why would mine be different? I downloaded the correct thing like 3 times now. I have the HD60 S+, I have been struggling with this audio issue for like a year now and I cant seem to find a solution for myself. Ive spent so much money and I cant stream. I have the Astro A50s and I can hear my ps5 audio and PC audio but Slobs will not detect my PS5 audio at all
Me too! My 4K software does not have an audio option at all to change to analog. I’m so frustrated with this it’s been months!
I have watched multiple videos but none of them can solve my problem.. Can u help me? I got all the right settings for my audio. Hd60s capture card with the cord to my ps5 controller. But my mic dosen't work, obs or any other stream program won't pick it up... Laptop PC and windows 10, pls help!!

I have the same issue going on, I do have my game audio coming through now but nothing from the mic on the headset itself. Hopefully the new video will help.
@@ZacharySaccocci-zn1cz I switched my speaker choice on the computer. I didn't get any sound out because it was on the wrong speakers..... Set your speaker output to standard and see if it works!

Ok I have a PS5, the Elgato Capture Card HD60 X and the Chat Link Pro. I plugged in the capture card and I went into the elgato program and switched the audio to analog audio. I also updated the software to the latest version. When people are talking I can hear them clearly but the game audio/music doesn't come through at all. Maybe sometimes like a sound effect goes through for a second but then it's gone. Please help me out.

@@mog_fv just used my elgato chat link pro and plugged it directly into my computer as a "line in" audio. Audio been working fine ever since. But I could never get it to work by plugging in the capture card. Hope this helps!

Having this very issue but i have some questions. First, do I need to have an ElGato capture card in order for this process to work or will my NZXT SignalHD60 work? And secondly, do i have to use a chat link cable for the headset? Hopefully you can help, thank you!!

Do you actually need to have that Elgato device just to hear PlayStation and mic audio in streams if you're using OBS?
You need some kind of capture device. Doesn't have to be Elgato but you need something that will capture the video/audio. OBS just allows you to broadcast the video and audio to the internet. Good luck!!
I can hear everything but my issue is that I'm hearing my ps5 audio through my capture card and desktop audio at the same time which is causing an echo on my streams. How to I keep desktop audio enabled without hearing my ps5 audio through it? And also every time I open up a game application, my stream will go black and then I stop hearing audio. Please help!
Wouldn’t it be easier to set your headset as monitoring on Streamlabs Desktop so you can even hear your alerts?
Yer you can do that for alerts as well. This more so addresses setting your Elgato capture device to analog audio. Which was easy....now not so easy. Thanks for stopping by Wog hope you are good bro

@@wogozyt @ArdentVision I'm currently struggling with exactly this part, I'm not able to hear alerts through my headset. I have an elgato game capture card and chat link, but I don't know how to make it so that I can hear pc-audio (such as alerts). Do you know how I could fix that? :)
@@exianica do you use wavelink or a similar software to manage your audio or do you control all of your audio through obs? what alerts service do you use?
@@wogozyt I don't use any separate software for audio, I control it directly in streamlabs. I play on a ps5 and use a capture card with it that goes into my monitor and my pc, and a chat link connected into my controller and into the capture card, and plug my headset into the chat link.
I control my alerts directly in streamlabs as well. When adding a source in streamlabs I chose "Alert box" and in there I put in the images for my alerts. When I have my headset plugged into my pc I can hear my alerts and any other sound (from youtube, spotify etc), but if I do that then my game audio doesn't show up in streamlabs and viewers won't be able to hear it. And when I have chat link plugged into the capture card, I can't hear alerts. I don't know how to make it so that I both can hear alerts and viewers can hear my in-game audio. :(

I’ve been using this method and it does work. I can hear my gameplay audio and my viewers does as well, but the audio is not clean and is somewhat choppy. Any advice/help?
It might be worth looking into the Bit Rate settings as if its too low this can affect audio quality! Good luck!
@@ardentvision6900 I actually fixed it. The issue was resolved by manually updating the firmware for the hd60x through the 4K capture software

This audio input setting does not exist for me. Everything is up to date. Completely lost here.
The system interface may have changed in recent updates, they do that often, I'll take a look and if I see anything different will let you know

Hé,, i have a ps5, elgato hd60x chat link cable and ps pulse 3d headset. When i connect it en i set the audio on analog i here the gameaudio but not my voice trough the microfoon. ( when i test the microfoon trough the ps5 with mic test) i hear everything correct. When i close the mic test de game audio is good but my voice is gone? How can i fix it

(2023) I have a ps5 and I’m trying to use Streamlabs to stream on Facebook. I bought the elgato capture card HD60 X and the elgato chat link pro. Connected all that to a Windows 10 laptop and I’m using some turtle beach 500 headphones. No sound is working, even with this configuration. Can you please send help, I’m loosing my mind. 😫
UPDATE: I DID IT! You have to switch the physical isolator switch to off on the Elgato Chat Link Pro! Works for me now.
OLD: I'm guessing you haven't figured it out yet? It's not working for me either. My setup: PS5, HD60X, Pulse 3D Headset, Chat Link Pro and OBS. OBS isn't picking up audio when I'm using the headset, even though I closely followed the video. Super frustrating.
I have a ps5 and i have the elgato 60splus capture card and i have streamlabs on my pc and i have a usb mic goin to my pc and i got settings done to where i can have my steel series artic 7 on my head and i can hear my game audio and alerts like jumpscare in my headset and i start a game and i got my brother in my lobby and everything was goin good but there is one problem ok he can hear me good and all streamlabs is working alerts and cheer alerts coming through my headset and my brother can hear me in his headset but i couldnt hear him talking come to find out his chat to me was coming through my controller ..... soooooo he brought his splitter cable in to my setup and now i have my headset type c plugged into my pc to get sound alerts and he could hear me that way no cable on my headset but if i connect the splitter to my capture card and hardwire my headset i can hear game and talk to ps5 chat lobby buuut i cant hear sound alerts from my chat so can you plz help me ???? What im trying to do is have a headset on and use my pc mic and be able to hear sound alerts through my headset and hear game and chat to my mates in lobby using my ps5 thanks

Thanks i jus want to be able to hear my like clapping and jumpscare in my headset while im playing a game and talking to warzone buddies i mean thats the whole point of having sound alerts cause if i have my headset on i cant hear any alerts on screen when my viewers play them so i can react to them if that makes sense but thats fine bud jus get back with me thanks 😊

Any capture card will work mate. As long as you can input your ps5 video and audio
