    Thanks, good information. My husband brought home this little steamer from a friend at work , so I'm going to try it. I got some pads from Amazon pretty cheap, they look good so I'm ready to go! Growing up my Dad had me clean our kitchen floor the hard way ... hands and knees, scrubber, 2 buckets; one soapy, one to rinse. This looks way easier.

    Loved the rooster! The video was so informative and pleasant. I think all of us can identify with floors that we would hate to have unexpected guests see. I do and it is also on a daily basis. Plus our four rescued indoor cats really enjoy their food and are sloppy eaters. 🙂 Thank you so much for visiting and sharing.

    Ps TIP: you wet the pad & squeeze it out before putting it on the unit, you'll start up faster!
    Caveat: deep dirt & floorboards still need closer attention but once it's done it'll look brand new....

    This is my second steamer mop. I love it. My 17yr old son just gave me one for my birthday which was last month in Dec. I’m super excited and did t waste time using it. 😊

    Really great demonstration! I was gifted one when we bought our house(I guess it wasn’t wanted by previous owner and was left behind) and was interested in how it worked. Now I know how it works!

    Thanks. One was left in the house we bought, and I had no idea what it was. Now off to try it on the grout in front of the stove and dishwasher.

    I love that you legitimately cleaned your real home and the everyday “messes” that come along in life. Thank you. I was offered this older model for free, which is amazing. But wanted to look into before bringing it home to make sure that it actually performs. The last thing I need is yet another gadget that claims almost miraculous cleaning ease and efficiency, only to find that it’s complete garbage. I will definitely get this steam mop after watching your video. Thank you,
    ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦

    Oh honey, I know exactly what he's doing to your mop! You won't like it!
    I have a tiny kitchen. I'm sick of the hands and knees stuff. My swiffer just isn't quite enough.
    Thanks for the review. I found a refurb on Amazon for $35. I don't think I'll need anything bigger.

      And how. Good video. As for the shark? I had a bad experience. It came free with the vacuum so nothing ventured; nothing gained. I think I will probably not plug it in but spray the floor and then go over it with a dry cloth a few times and see how that works.

      Yes, unless your floors are unfinished. If you have sealed wood, vinyl, linoleum, or tile floors, you would use this as you would a regular mop. Btw, there are no dumb questions! ;) Thanks for watching!

    The Shark Sucks. Your place is filthy and I can see this working for you to remove your "baked-on-caked-on" but where this fails is the finish. I get nothing but streaks on my floors. that makes this thing a fail.

    • @HomesteadingWays
      @HomesteadingWays  7 лет назад +32

      My "place" wasn't filthy. You saw small sections of my kitchen floor that was yes, dirty. Hence the need for it to be cleaned. At the time we lived in a small farmhouse with the kitchen door being the main entrance. People (and 2 dogs) brought in dirt and gravel everyday. We raised small livestock, too. Floors get dirty when physical work is drug through the door. I appreciate your positive comment. I still like the shark.
