Thanks, good information. My husband brought home this little steamer from a friend at work , so I'm going to try it. I got some pads from Amazon pretty cheap, they look good so I'm ready to go! Growing up my Dad had me clean our kitchen floor the hard way ... hands and knees, scrubber, 2 buckets; one soapy, one to rinse. This looks way easier.
Loved the rooster! The video was so informative and pleasant. I think all of us can identify with floors that we would hate to have unexpected guests see. I do and it is also on a daily basis. Plus our four rescued indoor cats really enjoy their food and are sloppy eaters. 🙂 Thank you so much for visiting and sharing.
Ps TIP: you wet the pad & squeeze it out before putting it on the unit, you'll start up faster! Caveat: deep dirt & floorboards still need closer attention but once it's done it'll look brand new....
This is my second steamer mop. I love it. My 17yr old son just gave me one for my birthday which was last month in Dec. I’m super excited and did t waste time using it. 😊
Really great demonstration! I was gifted one when we bought our house(I guess it wasn’t wanted by previous owner and was left behind) and was interested in how it worked. Now I know how it works!
I love that you legitimately cleaned your real home and the everyday “messes” that come along in life. Thank you. I was offered this older model for free, which is amazing. But wanted to look into before bringing it home to make sure that it actually performs. The last thing I need is yet another gadget that claims almost miraculous cleaning ease and efficiency, only to find that it’s complete garbage. I will definitely get this steam mop after watching your video. Thank you, ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦
Oh honey, I know exactly what he's doing to your mop! You won't like it! I have a tiny kitchen. I'm sick of the hands and knees stuff. My swiffer just isn't quite enough. Thanks for the review. I found a refurb on Amazon for $35. I don't think I'll need anything bigger. I grew up on a farm. I love your background noises!
Amazing gadget. I clean for a living & 2 of 3 accounts have this for use. It's so useful for doing the job quick- no tears!!! So I'm buying one to show it off to client #3 (he has a huge kitchen)--- & to have it for my own house!! WORTH IT!!!! You'll hate going back to the old way!!
Thank you so much for this video... i bought mine from ppl moving out of a house i clean & didn't have any idea about how to use. I saw spring and figured it might be how but still wasn't sure. So i Googled how to use & i was right. But still THANK YOU for demonstrating
Any good Sharks for carpet cleaning could you use it on carpet ??? I bought the 99 dollar vacuum and wow it does a great job so I was curious about one that cleans carpets.
It was a good overall explanation of how it works. Someone gave me their old one and I thought it was broken. Does anyone have any ideas for a homemade pad? Also, how do you make your own soap? Thank you.
And how. Good video. As for the shark? I had a bad experience. It came free with the vacuum so nothing ventured; nothing gained. I think I will probably not plug it in but spray the floor and then go over it with a dry cloth a few times and see how that works.
Thanks...I put some stuff on the street and some junker picked up some of mine and left a shark steam mop that come to find out is in good shape, pad and all and is in working order...so now I know how to use it wiped it down. Rinsed out the pad and...free steam mop! Cool! I can get the stuff dripped on my kitchen floor after sweeping.
I tried this at home and when I turned it On there was no steam so I pumped it few times and then it just bursted and I was so scared lol and then I unplugged it :D
Thanks for the great review and demo! I really want to buy a steam mop because in my apartments kitchen and bathroom I use a swifter and want a mop that sanitizes. Thanks again!
Yes, unless your floors are unfinished. If you have sealed wood, vinyl, linoleum, or tile floors, you would use this as you would a regular mop. Btw, there are no dumb questions! ;) Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video and the information. I think I have too much floor for this particular mop. I have been desperate for a solution to assist with spot cleaning for the basset hound shedding and around his dog bowl. I may keep it but I'm still undecided. Thanks again though :)
The Shark Sucks. Your place is filthy and I can see this working for you to remove your "baked-on-caked-on" but where this fails is the finish. I get nothing but streaks on my floors. that makes this thing a fail.
My "place" wasn't filthy. You saw small sections of my kitchen floor that was yes, dirty. Hence the need for it to be cleaned. At the time we lived in a small farmhouse with the kitchen door being the main entrance. People (and 2 dogs) brought in dirt and gravel everyday. We raised small livestock, too. Floors get dirty when physical work is drug through the door. I appreciate your positive comment. I still like the shark.
In the manual it says it may cause streaks and cloudiness because of previous residue and or chemicals that were used on your floor but will diminish with regular use. Thank you for the demonstration!

Victoria Love thanks for the tips!
Thanks for the tip..iill try it
I finally figure that out. lol.
This is my second steamer mop. I love it. My 17yr old son just gave me one for my birthday which was last month in Dec. I’m super excited and did t waste time using it. 😊
Came here for the Shark. Stayed for the Rooster. Thanks for the video!
😂
Same!
Really great demonstration! I was gifted one when we bought our house(I guess it wasn’t wanted by previous owner and was left behind) and was interested in how it worked. Now I know how it works!
I hope it works well for you 🙂
Same with me i just need to know how is work
A nice review made by real people. Thank you.
This was helpful to me because I didn't know you had to put the handle down to get it to work. - Thank-you.
Thanks. One was left in the house we bought, and I had no idea what it was. Now off to try it on the grout in front of the stove and dishwasher.

Try good will I found mine for 6.98
Thanks for the demo, it looks good. No short cuts for your baseboards, they badly need a bucket of soapy water and a tooth brush.
That's true! White baseboards show EVERYTHING! :)
Some times ya just got ta get down on your hands and knees. The old fashion way. lol, thanx for the demo.
There’s a small hook up by the handle for your cord so it isn’t dragging on the floor.
Thank you for this video! I just got this from a Friend & I’m so excited to use it ❤
Do u know the item number for the pads?

WORTH IT!!!!
You'll hate going back to the old way!!
I wish I had one when I was cleaning houses! :)
Got mine for 5$ at San suci no box or instructions so thanx for the demo!
I know i had the same problem. Didn't know how to use it....

God bless you
Have a great day

Julie Gonzalez I’m not sure about homemade but they are on amazon for 9 dollars for 2 and they are nice and thick
You could try Pinterest, they have some great ideas on homemade mop pads in a printable pattern. 🤷🏻♀️
I'm interested in the soap too! 😂
I’m excited to get my Shark steam mop!!!! Target had a purple one too!
How do you pump the water ?
Thank you for the honest review without the pushy excitement!
And how. Good video. As for the shark? I had a bad experience. It came free with the vacuum so nothing ventured; nothing gained. I think I will probably not plug it in but spray the floor and then go over it with a dry cloth a few times and see how that works.
Can I use this steam mop on laminate floor?
Yes
Thank you 💕
That was a bit helpful the question I have is how to turn the steamer on
Thanks for your information
Paul knows what that spill is :)
Thanks...I put some stuff on the street and some junker picked up some of mine and left a shark steam mop that come to find out is in good shape, pad and all and is in working order...so now I know how to use it wiped it down. Oh, boy. Sounds like it was maybe broke?
Homesteading Ways no it was not broken

I just moved in a house my mother inlaw owns she left this for me I absolutely love it how much are these
It was about $50 when I bought it. Glad it works well for you!
Shhh I'm watching this at work because I dont know how to use an electric mop. Dont tell my manager.
Lol, I won't tell!
Same!🙋♀️😂🤦♀️
How can I find a pad? I bought it years ago & it had no pad!
Maybe amazon?
Thank you for the video.
Where do you put the soap at ?
You don't use soap. Just steam.
The water container is just too small, I don't have time to spend constantly filling it.
Very helpful thank you
Can I pour some Pine-Sol on the floor and then go over it with the streamer
You could try it. The steam kind of acts like boiling water where the heat should lift up any dirt.
I'm intrigued. What did Paul do with the mop?
No idea...lol
AJBeetle1 don’t think we wanna know
i HAVE One, wasn't sure how 2 use.THANX 4 informative video. 5 stars.🥰
I'm a guy. Dumb question. Is it good for the whole floor like you would use a mop?
Yes, unless your floors are unfinished. If you have sealed wood, vinyl, linoleum, or tile floors, you would use this as you would a regular mop. Btw, there are no dumb questions! ;) Thanks for watching!
Only dumb people =)
Thanks for the review 👍
Doing questionable things with your mop???😮😮😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂
It really got that icky spot really clean!!! I have one of those but haven't used it yet.
I can’t get mine to steam at all(ok I see the pumping now .. the whole handle not the button 🤦♀️😂)
Thanks for the video and the information. I think I have too much floor for this particular mop. I have been desperate for a solution to assist with spot cleaning for the basset hound shedding and around his dog bowl. I may keep it but I'm still undecided. Thanks again though :)
+mydawgz I know what you mean. I have a basset as well. Good luck!
That was helpful - Thanks
love the rooster!
Whats the button towards the bottom
anthony reynoza it’s to remove the handle maybe for storing
Keep your dogs out of the house, or sektion off a portion of the house for them and put a dog door entrance for them.
Can this be used on carpet?
+a4e69636b no.
no!!!! never ever use it on carpet
I need a good carpet cleaner
Me too.
Do the floors take long to dry?
No, not at all.
Dry quickly. One thing I’ve seen is that the deep seated dirt sort of stays on and becomes “sticky” when it cools.
Thanks!!! I had to fast forward a little to much talk! All I heard was roosters crowing and dogs barking!!!!
Homemade soap[? Paul 's not involved with the soap is he?
This is the lousy snake oil invention I have ever used about to take it to a thrift store .
Thank you. I thought i was using it wrong. :)
Glad to help!
Would be nice to have closed caption for us deaf folks
The closed caption worked for me when I clicked on it. I'm not sure why it isn't working for you. Maybe a temporary glitch?
Are those real hardwood? I have engineered hardwood ... I’m afraid it will ruin them. Anybody here know??
Mary Anderson Lee try in the closet.
For English ears.....this is pure comedy!! I just about understood her accent.
Midwesterners don't normally have that big of an accent. I didn't realize that I didn't enunciate very well. Glad to give you a laugh.
Only one word to describe your smarmy rude comment on her accent.
Bitch

Agreed! some of us actually "live" in our homes not just "decorate" them..........

Her place was not filthy, your very rude.
Using my powers of deductive reasoning, I think that brown spot is a chicken claw print.
