Such great racing. The cars, drivers and point system were the best. I remember watching live and not knowing how great it really was especially compared to the racing now.

19 winners including 5 first time winners in one season. That list easily could have been much more. Drivers like Mike Wallace, Robert Pressley, Ryan Newman, Kenny Wallace all finished 2nd at least once who could have scored their first win. Other drivers like Kurt Busch who was leading with several laps to go at Talladega, John Andretti finishing 2nd at Bristol. Then you think about Jerry Nadeau who came within a half a lap of winning Atlanta after running out of fuel.

@@brandonamthor Well, we finalized the 2022 season with 19 winners and 5 of them being different. Cindric became the second rookie overall to win the Daytona 500, but the first rookie of the year candidate to win it (Bayne was not going for ROTY). Just a shame that many drivers that won for several consecutive seasons failed to win. Ryan Blaney (5 seasons), Brad Keselowski (11 seasons), Martin Truex Jr. (7 seasons). In addition, 2022 marked the first time Chase Elliott failed to win on a road-course ever since he got that first win in 2018 (won at Dover, Nashville, Atlanta in July, Pocono, and Talladega in the Fall). Best RC finish: 2nd at Road America.

That's not the point bitch. The point is Jeff Gordon did the bump and run twice on Rusty Wallace to win. So when somebody does the bump and run on him he shouldn't get mad like a bitch.
This is like dale Earnhardt getting mad because Jeremy Mayfield did the bump and run on him in 2000 at Pocono when the 1999 Dale Earnhardt basically wrecked Terry labonte in 1999 Bristol race to get the victory.
