Classic car full GPs were the funnest thing to do on the side but absolutely sending it in the 2020 cars is incredibly fun as well. One of the best F1 games for sure.
@@apophisRO nah but the main problem is that in games like this you cant play competitive if you dont buy new ones, if you care more about those basics compared to the actual racing i think you dont care enough about league racing
I miss everything about F1 2020, particularly the grip and stability over kerbs. I couldn’t care less if it was unrealistic, being able to complete consistent laps without spinning at random places was so fun
Thing is if you try the same in Assetto Corsa it was close to it. In fact AC is so realistic on that, F1 has used it to show new tracks like the saudia arabia one if I'm not mistaken
Hey, I play a lot of ACC and iRacing. Sure they are hardcore simulators but I agree with you. It's amazing feeling to drive this game and just ENJOY the great playability and car control. Those sims are sometimes too unforgiving and I screw up a lot of laps because of the spins. This game is pefect, perfect alternative for just relaxing fun. Pure enjoyement and absolute pinnacle of the F1 series. Cheers.
I loved and enjoyed this game because : 1. You could be aggressive over the kerbs and use kerbs like... kerbs and not auto spin. 2. Traction was closer to real life. 3. Once you understood the handling, it was predictable and you could push without worrying about spinning. 4. Classic cars, yes I liked hotlapping to take a break from career mode/online racing. 5. EA had little or NO influence on the game.
This. The handling was so awesome, I remember throwing the car around in Monaco so much that I’d just barely touch the walls 😅 Brought Ferrari back to glory in my career modes too, I still go back to F1 2020 here and there.
I am a F1 fan from the late 70’s and I loved the classic cars in this game. i hope they come back in F1 23. Just like the legendary circuits of the past, Nürburgring, Hockenheim and Sepang…
I bought it and only played it a handful of times, but I hate 21 and 22 Just checked and I have the disc for Xbox 😂 I know what I am doing this afternoon 😊 forgot I had it TBH
It was just perfect in every way. The only shit thing about the game, was the struggle to overtake in the wet. You could be over a second faster, and still not being able to overtake. So if you just had a low downforce setup, people could not do anything.
The "extra" content in previous versions like 2020 was all about F1 racing; it expanded your F1 driving experience. The extra content in 2022 is the opposite of that. I recently compared 20 and 22 and the car feels better to me on 22, especially the force feedback which is noticeably superior. Recovery from losing traction in 2020 might be better than 22.
I'll bet the feedback on controller is vastly superior on f1 2022 as well, considering it was designed for the next-gen consoles. I imagine it's closer to something like GT7 where the triggers give some resistance to simulate the pressure you would need to apply to the pedals in a real car.
I recently returned back to this game and even started a new career mode here. I miss renoult so much so I decided to do a career mode where I race for them and it is so fun. The car actually feels good to drive and I am not spinning on the most stupid factors, and the game is actually... fun. Something I have not felt for a bit on f1 games
F1 2020 was the game I started league racing on for F1, I won the F2 championship a few months into the game cycle and came top 5 in 2/3 full seasons I did. The best f1 game ever imo
F1 2020 was the best experience I had on an F1 game so far and I played everything from 2015, it was such a joy to drive, the car was on rails as it was in real life aswell, you could really feel the what felt like infinite downforce F1 cars supposedly generate. The kerbs were usable aswell which was a nice thing but I can live without that. It all might just be down to codies' old tyre grip model which had less peak grip but didn't lose it completely when you loaded it too hard I think
I remember had a tournament with my friends and practice for 5 hours at Grand Prix mode and find the best strategy to beat my friends F1 2020 the best f1 game ❤
F1 2020 was one of the best F1 games I've ever played, It was at top peak, even the Menu Music was amazing. Compared to F1 22, one of worst F1 Games ever with too many game breaking bugs.
This game was fun as hell. League racing were amazing, the driver could really make the different in pace. F1 22 is so flat, even in strategy. I fell like I can’t make difference in track. Overtaking is more difficult cause the cars are huge and ERS so powerfull.
I used to play f1 2012 8 years ago, but 2 years ago I pirated f1 2018 on my pc and it was fun, but I've always wanted to play f1 2020 and now that I have it it is really fun. Love that game and I could say it is my favourite of all. Nice video

I 100% agree to the traction on these older games is so much better. I literally cant even get through 1 race in the 2022 cars without spinning with traction off its mental. It literally makes me not want to play the game anymore. I have stopped playing it and probably wont again to be completely blunt.
