If anything is to be taken from this video, it shows you just how incomplete F1 games are whenever they release them. So many bugs, it's ridiculous for the price they make you pay as well!

the integer overflow on focus is hilarious. A modern $70 triple A game and you cant even check for integer overflow.

@generationzedpdodcast I know this, it is basically in coding that u use 1s and 0s, where in 8 bits it is 128, 64 etc, considering 8 1s it will mean 128 + 64 + 32 + 16 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 1, which equals 255, when in game a number above 255 occurs(in example) the game will bug and in this instance the focus automatically goes to the highest

@@generationzedpdodcast Think about a clock for a bit. If it's 3 o'clock, then an hour earlier it was 2 o'clock, and an hour before that was 1 o'clock. But an hour before 1 o'clock isn't 0 o'clock, but 12 o'clock, and 12 is bigger than 1. As you keep subtracting hours on a clock, eventually it jumps to become larger. This game was made with the experience like a clock, so when they kept on loosing focus, eventually it hit zero and became a much larger number (likely around 2 billion, knowing computers).

Then I'm certain it's the same for pace. The amount of cars you overtake contributes to the number. Even if you jump start everyone.

I was thinking that maybe there's some sort of intended buff that it gives you for the last race, where it increases your focus to 99 regardless of where you were beforehand? But as @IStMI stated, could also very well be integer overflow since that would have taken him below 25 😂

To be fair, you were focusing on crashing, causing chaos, and being a general menace. The game recognized what you were doing, recognized the determination you had for it, recognized the success you achieved with it, and thus awarded you with the highest score in order to max your focus stat.

It's actually a very accurate simulation. You messed up by picking Ferrari who will stick with drivers WAAAAY too long despite poor performance. Plus Ferrari love shooting themselves in the foot, so your unique skill set is a perfect match.

So you basically can't get 'fired' because they will just not renew your contract. Also LOL on the integer underflow there
You need to do a second season because your contract only lasts 1 season the first season. So you have to select a new team after S1.
This should be titled "how to break the game getting fired edition"
the Problem is, Qualifying P20 means you overtake a lot of cars when crashing Out Leclerc at T1

Well you did focus on destroying and getting as many crashes as possible
I think what happened with the Focus is that I think the lowest values you can have is 25 in everything - and essentially by going lower by a good chunk than that you somehow managed to reach a data overflow... It *could* be that you pretty much went to 0 focus due to all that loss and then the value just overflowed since you potentially went into negatives... Fantastic game design, no protection from this whatsoever - feels like this should always be a "just in case"...

You might be getting good race craft because it's only 5 laps. If it was a full race then the race craft could be different

All you had to go to break the game was turn it on. Somehow even the modes they did nothing with like MyTeam had things break. It is insane that they do a two year cycle with each team and have a game this broken.
