- Sa Kaeo is without a doubt ONE OF THAILAND'S HIDDEN GEMS 🇹🇭. It's not your typical tourist attraction province and for that very reason much of this province is left untapped. But that is what makes it all that much more fun, at least to us. To explore and discover landscapes like the ones we did in Sa Kaeo and Pranchin Buri that you don't see represented much to the masses is such a thrill. And while there aren't lots of bells and whistles, there is plenty of natural beauty to see and more than enough reasons to make it a stop on your journey through this incredible country! Sa Kaeo proves that it doesn’t matter what direction you travel in this gorgeous country there is always adventure right around the corner in the most unusual places.
In this vlog we take you with us to a small province just east of Bangkok and only about 48 kilometers from the Thai-Cambodia border. While it’s not quite exactly a city full of bells and whistles like those surrounding the province it is still a fun place to visit. During the dry season, we’d recommend maybe 2 days. But when the water is full steam ahead in those rivers, there are so many water adventures to take advantage of so extend that even longer!
And while this trip didn’t exactly go as planned, we still find the time to enjoy the simple things and really take in all we can. So sit back, relax, and join us!!

We hadn't heard much, if anything, about the province of Sa Kaeo but we're glad we took the time to go there and explore. Sa Kaeo is further proof that there is always adventure to be found around every corner here in Thailand, and where you least expect it 🤗 Thanks for watching everyone ❤️

haha, I am 🤪. I'm a sucker for animals. And yeah, that temple is absolutely magical in person. The grounds are small but there is so much to absorb and it's all done with such purpose and precision. Absolutely a must see if you are ever able to!! Hope you are having a great Sunday already 🤗❤️

Aww, we absolutely mean it. Thailand has given us so much. Opportunities we never thought possible (aka traveling this beautiful country), made us fall in love and find our passion (traveling and vlogging), and made us feel like we're able to enjoy life. Not work insane amounts of hours a week only to pay for overpriced housing, feel the need to keep up and have the newest shoes, newest phone, etc etc all of which brought us no true happiness. Thailand feels like home and we couldn't be more thankful we were welcomed with such open arms and hearts. -- I'll shut up now but I could go on and on 🤣
And that thai tea was AMAZING 😱 To sit there and have those large limestone cliffs in front of you was so magical.

Been there back in 2005, where after 4 weeks of making vids i started my editing experience, and it was not so digital as now, heavy AF camera with extra batteries and tapes and bags and big heavy tripod. It was on tape 😜 took months of editing 1 video of 40 mins, from 20 hours of tapes, hahaha. But beeing there amd experiencing it, is the best hands down. Someday we can share our stories 🤫

I'm pretty sure Brin and I would spend hours trying to snuggle monkeys. Pretty sure if I'm taken out of this world early it will be because I've tried to love on an animal that didn't want me to!

Ummm, that song is so so good. It's such a mood and I always listen to it all the way through haha. And you're right they definitely look like giant anthills 🤣 - As for the scariest animal interaction...Jose: none so far. Will: the leech on my manparts that I don't even know how it got there 😩😩 I am forever and ever scared!

Another great video :), one unrelated Q though, how do you deal with the dogs in Thailand? In other SE countries I've visited they are often barking and chasing in groups at dusk/dawn, is that something you've experienced in Thailand and if so any tips to deal with it? Concerned with risk of rabies which although unlikely, given the amount of dogs its just always on my mind ruining the holiday a little !

As for the dogs…only once have we ever been chased by them and that was in Krabi but I believe that’s because the temple we were going to was also sharing same pathway to a private home where the dogs were at. For the most part they are very calm or at the very most curious but never overtly aggressive. Just use your best judgement and you’ll be fine!!

Hi guys. I just heard on The Thaiger that Pattaya has an interesting zoo. It is said to have golf carts and you have a safari type experience. It must be fairly new and it might be of interest. Thailand does have some questionable "zoo" attractions, but this sounds better than most. I used to stop at many animal shows back when I was a tourist. The snake show I remember had a "rope" trick. The man was showing many different snakes and some were dangerous. He had some nasty ones to show the crowd, and then he hurled what appeared to be one of the reptiles into the stands. He got the wanted reaction and then he showed everyone it was a piece of rope. I'll bet somebody wet themselves!!! The other place I enjoyed there was Nong Nooch Gardens. It is now much bigger than when I saw it years ago. Massive displays of tropical plants, butterflies, and tourist stuff. The plantings are incredible. Sorry, TMI. Love you, Tim
