More physical demonstrations please am confuse on how to use my aux for my stage monitor. And how I will compress my sound before coming into the main speaker please
Thank you for your work! I bought a used yahama mg32 for $150 US. It was very dirty. Strippped it down to the chassis and cleaned it. Was very careful w the contact cleaner, but many pots are still scratchy and the channel 24 button won’t turn off. So I’ll need to clean again. Do you have any tips on cleaning the pots really well? Also the right channel never reaches the stereo mix, but it is there in PFL. Any thoughts on that? Keep up the great tutorials. You’re the reason I went ahead and gambled the 150 hoping this thing would work. So thanks!!!
I really do enjoy your videos and they are well explanatory. But i have few things i need clarity on how can you connect your subs on different output on the mixers to make them stand out in the mix
@@KelvinEriaganoma Please do, i also like to know how to connect my subs. If you show us the different ways for both passive and active, that would be great brother
Pls I still find it hard to do the connections as in grouping, pls can you be specific where exactly to input from the mixer to compressor and from the compressor back to the mixing console. And while grouping, the main output will still be use or it won't.
Hey brother I'm using UI24r soundcraft digital mixer. Please help me out, I need to know how we can split input channel signal and send it to aux only. I don't want to send any 1 channel output to the main L&R ? Just want to send it to aux only and other channels remain the same runs through main L R output. Please make a short video on that 👍🏽 or explain easily.
I have really learnt a lot from your videos. Thanks for all you do. Please can you do video on how to connect and use a cross over. dbx 234 to be precise. Thanks
❤️❤️. I want to Ask. How do I group maybe like 5vocal mics to a single channel control for further sound EQ. I tired it using group channel 1 but it didn't actually increase the volumes of the mic while moving the knob or the fader knob. Pls help.
I have detailed video on GROUPS here: ruclips.net/video/FOPwLkzJQLM/видео.html You should check it out first. If you have additional questions, you can leave a comment, and I’ll be happy to respond. Thanks for reaching out.
Great stuff, but how can I plug a none powered 4 channel mixer into a 6 channel powered mixer. There is no XLR on the 4 channel channel mixer. Great video, thanks for all the info.
Thanks for the video. I have a mg24/14fx mixer board at church, however within the last few weeks, I have been getting a distorted sound coming from the Aux sends. I used aux1 to send the signal to the online stream and aux2 for the on stage monitors. but when I am listening online it sounds very choppy. Speech is fine, but as soon as someone starts singing or and instrument starts playing the sound gets distorted. How can I fix that?
Yh thank you sir Kelvin But can you make a video on basic things yo note when mixing pive sound, like, how the drum should sound how loud the vocals should be etc just stuffs like that?
Please I have an issue with the main XLR output making lots of noise. If you can help me with how to solve this, I'll be very very happy. If I can talk with you on phone so you can direct me, that would be awesome. Can we talk on phone?
What would be the ideal connection for recording a live show with a small zoom recorder? I have stuff coming up and I plan to upgrade to a zoom H6 Essential and I’ve always ran it through 1 cable going from the Aux send but sometimes run into problems not picking up all the instruments. And usually the main outs are being used. What’s your recommendation?
There are usually two or more types of connectors for your main output. You can use one pair for your speakers and the other for your recorder. Using an AUX involves creating a separate mix. However, you can use a post-fader auxiliary and set all its input faders to unity. This way, your main mix will be copied to the auxiliary bus.
Nice video but I have a question. Where exactly does the Direct Output output to? Cause if Main could go to Front of House and Matrix could do same, where does Direct ouput go if it outputs only from one signal source. Let's say you're doing a live show, does it mean each Direct Out will go to it's own speakers? I'm confused
Direct outputs are not meant to be connected to speakers. When mixing live, you can create a recording of your inputs on separate tracks in a DAW, using the direct inputs connected to a multiple-input audio interface.
@@KelvinEriaganoma Oh okay, thank you. Please do you have a video explaining what Insert inputs and Insert outputs are? Wish I could connect to you privately
@@KelvinEriaganoma i have a question when using two Analoge mixers Due to limited channel on the main mixer and your main mixer is where your monitors are sent through the aux sends how can one hear the individual channels through the aux of the submixer
Good evening Boss I like your tutorial but with the demonstration aspect of your lesson. Please I would like you to show or point out exactly what you saying or teaching, thank you.

Bonjour frère Kelvin je ne peux pas avoir les explications en français ?
Brother how video recordings and connection please
If we want to use mic output from this mixer MG 24/14fx in an online meet/zoom meetings, what we have to do. Please guide
You can use a USB audio interface. Connect the mixer output to the input of the audio interface, and the interface to the computer via the USB cable.
What about when you want to record in a live setting using just a laptop
Do 1/4” control room outputs require balanced cables?
I have a question, kinder off but need help. Wat are the uses of return ports on a snake cable. Thank you for the good work

What are the use of sub out on mixer
Sub-out is an exact copy of the main mix. It's use is versatile. Whatever the main mix is used for, the sub-out can also be used for it.
