Great chat, ladies. Definitely refreshing, convicting, and uplifting. So many nuggets of God's truth and real-life application gleaned from this segment. Thank you both for sharing your hearts.
Such a good uplifting video. Glad you have begun the forgiveness process and it is a process. I understand where you are coming from. After 15 years as an awarded educator, I was employed in a tiny country school in New Mexico. I did a favor coming there for my friend who was the principal. I was accused first of being promiscuous. I had exactly 2 dates. Then when that wouldn’t stick, of being gay. I’m straight, always have been. Long story short, I was non-renewed by the board of education. Could have severely hurt my career and I was a single mom and the sole responsibility for me and my 8 year old son. My superintendent made sure it didn’t hurt me, thank God. I was called to forgive the athletic director who undermined me at every turn and who turned the board against me. I coached volleyball as well as taught and was the k-12 counselor. It took me awhile to work thru the forgiveness process but knew if I couldn’t, it would hurt me in the long run. I can identify with “Bitter.”
