Ive been there girl! Thats a lie from the pit of hell you are not going to be punished by God he loves you and knows your heart he forgives your sin and remembers it NO MORE!! As far as the east to the west, i pray the lord really helps heal your soul so you can fully release the guilt and fear and anxiety! Take every thought captive! This video SAVED MY LIFE a year ago. I was on the verge of death, not only spiritual, but a worldly death just like Judas. Just recently, the devil has been and still is attacking me on a day to day basis. It made me run from God, it’s ruined my work and home life, and it’s eating me up so badly that the only way I think I can escape is through death/suicide. I’m in DESPERATION for help from above because the evil one is still attacking me, and he’s twisting scripture on me and I’m also fearful of some of the truths of scripture. I found great joy and love for God in the beginning and fell away from him because I got upset because things weren’t going my way, and ever since, my life has been nothing but fear and torment. Will you guys please pray for me that I can and will return to Jesus just like the story of the prodigal son, and that my fears and deception will flee in the name of Jesus Christ. I’m so scared, I know I shouldn’t be, for the spirit of the lord doesn’t give us the spirit of fear. I need help you guys PLEASE pray for me that I can not only accept God’s forgiveness but that I can also forgive myself. Thank you so much for doing God’s will because like I said earlier, this video SAVED MY LIFE and I know that Jesus led me to you, will you please pray that he delivers me from the evil one so I can go back home to my father in heaven and live in freedom again. The same for me. Knowing it was wrong, I desired the sin and then I gave into sin, not wanting to think about the consequences, but only thinking about the pleasure. And now I feel unworthy of forgiveness.

I love this message, the hardest thing is to forgive myself for all the hurt I cause a lot of people but specifically one person, but this was the right type of guilt for me to be closer to my god. This helped me SO much! I have not forgiven myself of something in my past for over 40 years now. The enemy was whispering lies to me saying "nobody is as BAD as you" and my guilt kept me from having a close relationship with Him. I went to confession when I was in the Orthodox church several times, and kept on confessing it over and over. I joined that church because I thought confession, sacraments, works, enough prayers to the saints could release me from my guilt. But it did not. After ten years, it was still there. I carried this guilt and shame with me into my marriage and never could accept love from my husband, thinking I always "owed" him something for him being kind to me. After listening to sermons like this over and over and "getting them into my inner spirit" I am beginning to be free. Thank you so much, and I think I will listen to this every day until it also sinks in.

Ive been in this loop since my best friend overdosed. I was numb and constantly praying for forgiveness and nothing helped, but watching many sermons on forgiveness and especially this one i am healing and finding a church home. So through the tradegy I stopped drugs, and am moving closer to God, and for a long time i didnt think it was possible. I will pray for your well being!

I have been running from God for 20 years… I have had “flexible” morales and lived in sin for so long… I have given my life back to Jesus but I still hold A LOT of guilt. I feel the exact same way and worse. Rationalizing sinful addictions will only get worse until one day you almost can’t go to sleep at night or look at yourself in the mirror. Praying for you to find healing and peace from God.
I have this feeling of guilt, grudge, and anger present and lurking within me and it never goes away. Until I found this comforting sermon a couple of months ago. I know that God forgives me but i can’t forgive myself for hurting those who I’ve hurt. I feel guilty for what I put them through. I feel sad that they experienced that. I wish I could change the past. I think about it almost nightly. I don’t believe that I can ever make it right.

I’ve hurt my wife. I’ve hurt her and am hurting her everyday as I can’t forgive myself. She says she forgives me but how could I do this… I’ve only very recently come to accept god exists but I know nothing. I don’t know where to begin, how to accept my failure, how to forgive myself and stop torturing my wife with my failure and to stop talking about the harm I’ve done to her. This would be the second piece now that I’ve listened to and I thank you for making them. I am trying, trying so hard to forgive myself. I’ve always considered myself a good man and yet now I can’t stand myself. I prayed to find forgiveness. For my wife and my children I need to make this right and to move forward.
I needed to hear this.. for the past year I have been having an affair with a man who is my best friend. My husband had ended the marriage months before finding out. My husband had left to another state for work and we had ended things. When he came to visit for a couple days he found out what I did. I am so ashamed I have been thinking such bad thoughts and can’t eat or sleep I wish I never existed at one point. I feel like I need to die and be in pain forever to repent but that’s not true I need to ask for forgiveness and forgive myself. I acknowledge my sin and I will repent daily till I am forgiven. This isn’t something that is easy to speak about but I feel that I need to share this so I will bring awareness to people who are suffering from so much guilt and shame. Now I finally understand the difference and will work to forgive myself every day.. I will be a better person and will never do what I have done to anybody ever again. That pain is terrible and I am afraid that god will not forgive me and neither will he. My excuses do not matter I have sinned and cannot change my past but god will change my future
God can change your future and your present. You've sinned and there's no making light of that, but you asked for forgiveness and scripture talks about how God forgives. You are not charged with iniquity - He removes our sins as far as the east is from the west. He is not holding your sin against you. It's a daily choice to walk in that freedom. Where the rubber meets the road is how you work on yourself to not fall into temptation. Lifting you up in prayer as you learn to forgive yourself and put up the right boundaries and work on restoration in your relationships!

I absolutely understand that feeling especially when it is an act against loved ones that treat you so amazingly. This is why I can't take any anxiety benzo medication because I inevitably do hurtful actions. I pray pray pray but inner turmoil, pressure can be tough.🙏

@@Red-ev4gm Oh brother beginning in my last relationship drinking has been my pitfall for a couple years until recently (after dating a brutal woman whom I should have left instead of drowning out the absurdities). Those first couple weeks can be brutal and will likely require a temporary regimen of benzos to quell the shakes, kicking, and anxiety followed by a regimen of baclofen and clonidine/or lofexidine. Most insurance won't cover lofexidine until you have been unsuccessful with clonidine because of the mind boggling price of near $4000 for half a month.😘

I’m struggling with myself. I’ve been in that place of guilt and and yearning for true change/expressing God’s love more times than I can count. I NEVER follow through with my actions. In the process, I’ve hurt/emotionally abused people because of my lies/manipulation. Why am I the way that I am ? I’ve lost all integrity in my words/actions.
Ask God for help and a genuine change in your actions and inspiration for it and then do it knowing He will help. Do it- practice it and celebrate little wins and dont go to shame when you fail. Little by little it will happen and go to counseling also (roots of trauma and early abuse could lead to this).
I hope that you're doing better today but if you aren't I pray God gives you peace. Just know today always brings new opportunity to change and tomorrow will bring another one! Just know that change is hard, especially because taking action is harder. But I truly believe that with God's help anything is possible. I believe in you and more importantly, God believed in you even more!

WOW I must've needed this. Went from being tense and my head swimming with negativity, shame and guilt to now I feel relaxed and at peace. It's only 4pm but I feel ready to go to sleep now lol. I'll have to keep watching this everyday if I have to.
I just made a video on apologizing to myself and I cannot stress how vital it is to give yourself this act of service. We are not alone in living with regret, we have all broken out own hearts by our choices and what we have allowed. God did not make us to suffer and He wants us to be restored 🙏🏻❤️

It was a mistake. 🙂When we walk through forgiveness it can sound as simple as this, " Lord forgive me for xxxxxxx, in Jesus name. Lord I forgive myself for xxxxxxxx it was a mistake, thank you Lord for your forgiveness in Jesus name!" For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 If it is someone you need to forgive, understand when we follow the Biblical Principle of blessing others that harmed us Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, A simple prayer blessing those that hurt/wronged you, allows the Lord to move in and heal your heart! I forgive xxxxxx for hurting me (or enter what they did) I forgive them Lord and I ask that you bless them in Jesus name! Ohh man. Did that hit home. Forgiving and letting it go, even though you cannot forget. Forgiving yourself. Forgiving others. It’s a special tool that fixes many things, and I just realized I don’t have that tool. So much pain in feeling that I’m a horrible person. It happens to me like I'm a guiltiest person in this world and I'm very ashame of my past because of my all kind of sexual sin that I have committed that noboby knows, I had confess it to Jesus Christ, for some time I know that God has already forgive me and I forgive myself but after sometimes it keeps coming again and again that I'm the guiltiest person in the world.. I have to remember to bring a tissue to wipe my eyes. I've lived and responded out of shame felt that I didn't deserve to be forgiven b/c of what I have done in my past. The comparison between Judas & Peter was eye-opening and caused me to look at my self. I've had several Judas moments in my life feeling unworthy of the blessing and forgiveness that Christ died for me to have. Not anymore I chose to Let It Go! This one was for me! Thank You, Pastor Craig, for the ammunition to fight from a Christ-centered perspective. " The Devil brings up our past because he's intimidated by Our Future." That's is a great mindset to have and focal point for the future.

I was in the company of a bad friend who put temptation in front of me and caused me to do something terrible. I don’t completely blame him: it was also sin living in me that led to my action, I could have said no. I have been living with guilt and shame from that event and in fear that something bad will happen to me or my loved ones. I confessed my sin, but was still unable to face my loved ones and it has been sitting heavily on me. I had a clean record until that mistake and the shame and guilt I felt initially of letting down my loved ones and my sin also almost made me end my life. I am in a much better place now, praise God but the shame occasionally comes, which is what led me to this video. This sermon really helped me. Please keep me in prayer.

Oh if we could not choose to carry guilt on ourselves but also feel the shame from society, or rejection carried through generations only to make those same choices or decisions that someone else had made that reflected our perception of reality that when I had the opportunity presented to do/be better, I didn't, and reflected another's perception. I struggled then trying to understand every emotion and decision and I am hurting now, today, emotionally watching similar situations have the painful impact this seems to hold on us for many generations. It Took me 10 years to forgive myself for betraying my ex. Fell into the biggest depression of my like. I payed for my mistakes .. but then the lord reminded me that he had already paid for my sins and that I had been punishing myself all these years for something that my lord had already paid in the cross. Satan was making me believe that I still needed to pay and suffer even after repenting…There you go, I was free when Jesus paid for my sins!! The devil had me paralyzed with depression and darkness and shame!!

I really needed to hear this. I'm struggling so bad with something I should have known was a bad idea and is not the path I am trying to take anymore. It just eats you up inside and you cringe from the shameful thoughts.

Thank you for this message. I have been trying to forgive myself for nearly 12 years. Shameful feelings have led to depression and suicidal thoughts. However I know recognise that satan is the cause of this shame. I know that Heavenly Father has forgiven me and I need to do the same.

Wow this is the best video I ever watch in my life, I was trapped in shame I let my new husband treat my first (not his kid)with coldness, he never treat with compassion not even his own kids. I still live with him,( we have 2 kids together) he has change but my guilt-shame of the old days is killing me.. ( my older kid move out at 18, She is an adorable well educated young lady.. this video is a start for my recovery.. after so much therapy, time and $ waisted!! My non-Christian friends just don’t have this guilt but I’m afraid to separate from God to not reach heaven so I have no choice but to feel this guilt. Years and years of straying far away from God - simply because I thought my sins, countless and heartless and oftentimes done out of malice would neither meet nor merit God's grace and forgiveness, let alone mine. I have long wallowed in this bottomless despair. I couldn't let go of shame, self-flagellation, and hopelessness. I just thank God for guiding me to this wonderful message. Just “let it go” huh? Oh how I wish it was just that easy. I’ve said to myself a million times, “ok I’m gonna let it go, I will not dwell on the past”. Then the memories return. So vividly I can see the places and people as clear as day. How can I not be ashamed? I know it was wrong.

Ive been there girl! Thats a lie from the pit of hell you are not going to be punished by God he loves you and knows your heart he forgives your sin and remembers it NO MORE!! As far as the east to the west, i pray the lord really helps heal your soul so you can fully release the guilt and fear and anxiety! Take every thought captive! This video SAVED MY LIFE a year ago. I was on the verge of death, not only spiritual, but a worldly death just like Judas. Just recently, the devil has been and still is attacking me on a day to day basis. It made me run from God, it’s ruined my work and home life, and it’s eating me up so badly that the only way I think I can escape is through death/suicide. I’m in DESPERATION for help from above because the evil one is still attacking me, and he’s twisting scripture on me and I’m also fearful of some of the truths of scripture. I found great joy and love for God in the beginning and fell away from him because I got upset because things weren’t going my way, and ever since, my life has been nothing but fear and torment. Will you guys please pray for me that I can and will return to Jesus just like the story of the prodigal son, and that my fears and deception will flee in the name of Jesus Christ. I’m so scared, I know I shouldn’t be, for the spirit of the lord doesn’t give us the spirit of fear. I need help you guys PLEASE pray for me that I can not only accept God’s forgiveness but that I can also forgive myself. Thank you so much for doing God’s will because like I said earlier, this video SAVED MY LIFE and I know that Jesus led me to you, will you please pray that he delivers me from the evil one so I can go back home to my father in heaven and live in freedom again. The same for me. Knowing it was wrong, I desired the sin and then I gave into sin, not wanting to think about the consequences, but only thinking about the pleasure. And now I feel unworthy of forgiveness.

I love this message, the hardest thing is to forgive myself for all the hurt I cause a lot of people but specifically one person, but this was the right type of guilt for me to be closer to my god. This helped me SO much! I have not forgiven myself of something in my past for over 40 years now. The enemy was whispering lies to me saying "nobody is as BAD as you" and my guilt kept me from having a close relationship with Him. I went to confession when I was in the Orthodox church several times, and kept on confessing it over and over. I joined that church because I thought
confession, sacraments, works, enough prayers to the saints could release me from my guilt. But it did not. After ten years, it was still there. I carried this guilt and shame with me into my marriage and never could accept love from my husband, thinking I always "owed" him something for him being kind to me. After listening to sermons like this over and over and "getting them into my inner spirit" I am beginning to be free. Thank you so much, and I think I will listen to this every day until it also sinks in.

Ive been in this loop since my best friend overdosed. I was numb and constantly praying for forgiveness and nothing helped, but watching many sermons on forgiveness and especially this one i am healing and finding a church home. So through the tradegy I stopped drugs, and am moving closer to God, and for a long time i didnt think it was possible. I will pray for your well being!

This just hit me so hard between the eyes. I have been running from God for 20 years… I have had “flexible” morales and lived in sin for so long… I have given my life back to Jesus but I still hold A LOT of guilt. I havent cried in years but this month has been a water flow as I have come to see my failures and I am trying to get back on the path. Thank you for this. I needed this…
I feel the exact same way and worse. Rationalizing sinful addictions will only get worse until one day you almost can’t go to sleep at night or look at yourself in the mirror. Praying for you to find healing and peace from God.
I have this feeling of guilt, grudge, and anger present and lurking within me and it never goes away. Until I found this comforting sermon a couple of months ago. Since then I’ve been listening to this whenever I feel bad about myself again. I hope we may all heal from our past mistakes and move on with our lives.

I know that God forgives me but i can’t forgive myself for hurting those who I’ve hurt. I feel guilty for what I put them through. I feel sad that they experienced that. I wish I could change the past. I think about it almost nightly. I don’t believe that I can ever make it right.
@Rach Praying for you, getting to a point where you can fully forgive yourself will give you so much freedom. We can't go back and change our past, but forgiveness definitely frees us for a better future.

I’ve only very recently come to accept god exists but I know nothing. I needed to hear this.. for the past year I have been having an affair with a man who is my best friend. My husband had ended the marriage months before finding out. My husband had left to another state for work and we had ended things. When he came to visit for a couple days he found out what I did. I am so ashamed I have been thinking such bad thoughts and can’t eat or sleep I wish I never existed at one point. I feel like I need to die and be in pain forever to repent but that’s not true I need to ask for forgiveness and forgive myself. I acknowledge my sin and I will repent daily till I am forgiven. This isn’t something that is easy to speak about but I feel that I need to share this so I will bring awareness to people who are suffering from so much guilt and shame. Now I finally understand the difference and will work to forgive myself every day.. I will be a better person and will never do what I have done to anybody ever again. That pain is terrible and I am afraid that god will not forgive me and neither will he. My excuses do not matter I have sinned and cannot change my past but god will change my future
God can change your future and your present. You've sinned and there's no making light of that, but you asked for forgiveness and scripture talks about how God forgives. You are not charged with iniquity - He removes our sins as far as the east is from the west. He is not holding your sin against you. It's a daily choice to walk in that freedom. Where the rubber meets the road is how you work on yourself to not fall into temptation. Lifting you up in prayer as you learn to forgive yourself and put up the right boundaries and work on restoration in your relationships!

I absolutely understand that feeling especially when it is an act against loved ones that treat you so amazingly. This is why I can't take any anxiety benzo medication because I inevitably do hurtful actions. I pray pray pray but inner turmoil, pressure can be tough.🙏

my last relationship drinking has been my pitfall for a couple years until recently (after dating a brutal woman whom I should have left instead of drowning out the absurdities). Those first couple weeks can be brutal and will likely require a temporary regimen of benzos to quell the shakes, kicking, and anxiety followed by a regimen of baclofen and clonidine/or lofexidine. Most insurance won't cover lofexidine until you have been unsuccessful with clonidine because of the mind boggling price of near $4000 for half a month.😘

Ask God for help and a genuine change in your actions and inspiration for it and then do it knowing He will help. Do it- practice it and celebrate little wins and dont go to shame when you fail. Little by little it will happen and go to counseling also (roots of trauma and early abuse could lead to this).
I hope that you're doing better today but if you aren't I pray God gives you peace. Just know today always brings new opportunity to change and tomorrow will bring another one! Just know that change is hard, especially because taking action is harder. But I truly believe that with God's help anything is possible. I believe in you and more importantly, God believed in you even more!

You have a loving Father in Heaven who loves you and does not condemn you. He forgives you when you ask, but you also need to forgive yourself. It was a mistake. 🙂When we walk through forgiveness it can sound as simple as this, " Lord forgive me for xxxxxxx, in Jesus name. Lord I forgive myself for xxxxxxxx it was a mistake, thank you Lord for your forgiveness in Jesus name!"
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15

That allows the Lord to move on your behalf and release you of guilt and heals you, because you followed what His word says. I hope that helps!

Ohh man. Did that hit home. Forgiving and letting it go, even though you cannot forget. Forgiving yourself. Forgiving others. It’s a special tool that fixes many things, and I just realized I don’t have that tool. So much pain in feeling that I’m a horrible person. So much pain I’ve given judging others instead of letting it go. I’m sorry for both.

I don't want to die like this I want to forget and don't want to remember my past for the rest of my life and live happily with my future family and most of all with Jesus Christ!!! Please pray for me that I can forgive my self and out of this guilt and shame and that would not affected my family for the sin that I've committed and please pray that my girlfriend that I love will comeback to my live again Amen

Sometimes it is difficult to move on when we have so many regrets, but the important thing is to remember that once we have repented and been forgiven, regrets are only useful in helping us make better future decisions. I had a baby with a toxic person whom was a alcoholic, drug attic, selfish, and I’ve had a very hard time forgiving myself and not leaving sooner, and now my daughter had him as a dad but of course isn’t around and it’s been hard to forgive myself. So thank you for this message

I have to remember to bring a tissue to wipe my eyes. I've lived and responded out of shame felt that I didn't deserve to be forgiven b/c of what I have done in my past. The comparison between Judas & Peter was eye-opening and caused me to look at my self. I've had several Judas moments in my life feeling unworthy of the blessing and forgiveness that Christ died for me to have. Not anymore I chose to Let It Go! This one was for me! Thank You, Pastor Craig, for the ammunition to fight from a Christ-centered perspective. " The Devil brings up our past because he's intimidated by Our Future." That's is a great mindset to have and focal point for the future.

You helped free me from bondage of the past. I love the perspective you gave in your sermon. I was carrying guilt that wasn’t mine to carry. I am new in Jesus Christ and I feel the peace from within. I am now subscribed to your channel and I will be watching you as often as possible. You helped me forgive myself for things that haunted me the minute I left church today the devil was hard at work in my mind. When I put it into the perspective you gave that the devil is trying to get me to feel certain ways, it really helped me heal in a big way. I've been struggling with forgiving myself for multiple things in my life very recently this really spoke to me thank you
I was in the company of a bad friend who put temptation in front of me and caused me to do something terrible. I don’t completely blame him: it was also sin living in me that led to my action, I could have said no. I have been living with guilt and shame from that event and in fear that something bad will happen to me or my loved ones. I confessed my sin, but was still unable to face my loved ones and it has been sitting heavily on me. I had a clean record until that mistake and the shame and guilt I felt initially of letting down my loved ones and my sin also almost made me end my life. I am in a much better place now, praise God but the shame occasionally comes, which is what led me to this video. This sermon really helped me. Please keep me in prayer.

Oh if we could not choose to carry guilt on ourselves but also feel the shame from society, or rejection carried through generations only to make those same choices or decisions that someone else had made that reflected our perception of reality that when I had the opportunity presented to do/be better, I didn't, and reflected another's perception. I struggled then trying to understand every emotion and decision and I am hurting now, today, emotionally watching similar situations have the painful impact this seems to hold on us for many generations. I wish I could be led to the one phrase, or solution that would heal every generation so that the smiles and laughter I once enjoyed are not so distant or silent. ❤ Thank you for your message and energy as I need to be bathed by God's love and grace!

It Took me 10 years to forgive myself for betraying my ex. Fell into the biggest depression of my like. I payed for my mistakes .. but then the lord reminded me that he had already paid for my sins and that I had been punishing myself all these years for something that my lord had already paid in the cross. Satan was making me believe that I still needed to pay and suffer even after repenting…There you go, I was free when Jesus paid for my sins!! The devil had me paralyzed with depression and darkness and shame!!

Wow this is the best video I ever watch in my life, I was trapped in shame I let my new husband treat my first (not his kid)with coldness, he never treat with compassion not even his own kids. I still live with him,( we have 2 kids together) he has change but my guilt-shame of the old days is killing me.. ( my older kid move out at 18, She is an adorable well educated young lady.. this video is a start for my recovery.. after so much therapy, time and $ waisted!! With this free video I learned sooo much more!! Thank you GOD
God bless all here and thank you for this holy video. Our feeling of moving away from God is ironically what brings us closer to God. Feeling guilty it’s what makes us Christian. My non-Christian friends just don’t have this guilt but I’m afraid to separate from God to not reach heaven so I have no choice but to feel this guilt. I am sure that feeling guilt is really an important part of being a real Christian.

Just “let it go” huh? Oh how I wish it was just that easy. I’ve said to myself a million times, “ok I’m gonna let it go, I will not dwell on the past”. Then the memories return. So vividly I can see the places and people as clear as day. How can I not be ashamed? I know it was wrong.
It's simple, but often it's not easy. We pray you are able to release those bad memories and find peace.
Saying I’m letting it go is easy. Stopping the memories or demons as I call them is seemingly impossible.
