    I apologize for the popping at points during this. Something was a little off with this recording.
    6:30 also genuinely didn't know the answer to this. I now know it's the sphinx's riddle.

    • @aspookyspookcrab6253
      @aspookyspookcrab6253 2 года назад +416

      the answer is man. the "day evening and night" thing are all based on life. in the start (day) you crawl like a baby. in the middle (evening) you walk around on 2 legs. when you're old (night) you need a cane to walk so 3 legs

    • @mrmora1673
      @mrmora1673 2 года назад +59

      The answer is man, the morning is being a baby thus four legs=crawling
      Noon is adolescence-adulthood, so 2 legs = walking
      And evening is being old, so 3 legs = walking with a cane.

    Thank you everyone for the very kind words on this map! This map was made after a year or so hiatus from HL2 and was a blast to create! The textures at the end were made by my girlfriend and all the voices were done by me on my awful turtle beach headset. The answer to the riddle at 6:30 is 'man' but I think the riddle is kind of stupid. There IS an alternate ending if you go through the exit when it opens, Jornad will calmly and politely thank you for your participation and not get his pay cut in half for the next 1,000,000,000,000 years. Seriously though, it felt great reading all these comments, glad everyone enjoyed!

      @@breakingyourlegs yeah, probably, my quibble is when you present multiple choices like this, less so that it technically has multiple answers. Technically you could answer man, woman, humans, sapient apes, homo sapiens sapiens and you'd be fine, my issue is with the clear notation of a singular right answer, and multiple wrong answers, when two of the answers were right. As the lab was broken, it was rendered irrelevant anyway, qnd they're trying to channel the snitty, not-quite Jigsaw testing of Glados, so a deathtrap for being a feminist or whatever excuse they want for setting mines on a technically correct answer is fine, I just was laughing that woman TECHNICALLY works.
