This actually made a lot of the video game Octodad retroactively make a lot of sense. It's actually brilliant.
Sure, they probably only put an Octopus in a human suit disguising perfectly as a human to be funny, but it makes sense with Octopuses blending into scenery, having intelligence comparable to a human and capable of doing complex and memory-based tasks, individual intelligence located in it's tentacles (similar to how the player controls them individually), a goofy walk using two tentacles, and moving on land.
None of those things I knew going into the game, embarrassingly. Maybe the developers did, I dunno, but it definitely seems like it was just a wacky premise.

Err... an octopus doesn't have "intelligence comparable to a human".
But, other than that sure. Dadliest Catch is awesome.

Oliver Williams Watch the video, Zefrank straight-up compares it to a human. "Comparable" doesn't mean "the same as".
[EDIT] rewatching the video, he doesn't really. I mean he kinda does but not really. I think I got confused from reading the comments on this video. I apologize for the condescending.....ness of this comment.

Every fact was perfect, spot on, and, as always, hilariously entertaining.
Thank you so much for making this. I'm sure about 200 views on this video are from me~!

Papio Sphinx I really wish people would do even a tiny bit of research before they posted comments like this. When Zefrank started to make these segments he outputted them more or less weekly, and their quality was on par if not better than the recent ones we've seen.

Maybe he did put a lotta time into it, and when he had made a few he started off posting one every week and now he's making new ones. Right ?

He's got 1,118,806 subscribers, that's not exactly desperate obscurity. And this video alone pulled in 1.2 million views in a little over a week.
