The best test is to look at the other comments, on this one and her other covers. Who else says she doesn't sing well? How has she sold so many albums? Why has her videos been played millions of times on all the social media? Saying these things about her is like saying those things about Aretha or Mariah or Whitney or Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood or Celine Dion. It's true that their range can be so powerful and crazy high that it can get to be too much sometimes but these are all phenomenal singers, one of the greats of all time, and Kelly Clarkson is one of them. If you can't hear that every time she sings, then I don't know, you must not have an ear for great music. Also why would Kelly Clarkson be hired to be a coach on the voice if she doesn't know what she's doing? And now she has her own talk show. She also sells out concert events when she can find the time to tour. So it's your opinion which is apparently very different from millions of people. But to each his own.

Wow!! This is just one of those truly iconic songs that few dare to take on. Anyone who attempts it is compared to Olivia, I’ve heard many people cover this song and hands down, This is an incredible performance by Kelly, She has a way of making you feel and believe every lyric. That she is personally connecting to every word. Really powerful and Kelly has that gift to evoke emotion with her voice. There’s no feeling like it in the world when a song, s certain person’s ability to sing it , transports you to s different time and the hairs stand on end from my fingers to the back of my neck. I can’t think of anything else with that power! What a gift, thank you very much Kelly!

Yes! Kelly has always been one of my favorite artists. She rocks her own songs but with covers, she protects their style. I’m also constantly impressed with how much her vocals have improved since her American Idol says. She was an absolute superstar then, but she’s a total powerhouse now! Love Kelly so much ❤❤❤

Huge ON-J fan here and I have heard her sing this before and while it was good (can she ever NOT be good?), but this time she crushed it... Still give the edge to the tone and subtleties that ON-J's performance had, but this is as good a runner up as the duet between Mariah and ON-J... Kelly never ceases to amaze.

I may have already posted a comment about Kelly's performance of this song, but I Don't think I posted a comment about the roller-dancing couple. So talented. I used to rollerblade several years ago but never got as good as this couple. I've also seen a video of a young girl from another country who is an outstanding roller-dancer.
