Sounds really silly but I love that Stephanie scrapes out as much batter from the bowl as she can. It's indicative of how most of us bake. It irks me when people leave batter behind, it's such a waste! That could have been more cake! Lol.

I just made this and oh my , it made my house smell so good. I made just a few additions, I did two layers of cinnamon sugar instead of one, (used dark brown sugar)and I added a just a few chocolate chips and raisins on top and inside. I also put 2tbs of sour cream to keep it moist. It is amazing and it's got the perfect coffee cake crust. Thanks so much!

I loved this cake, so moist and yummy! I just made 1 minor change. Because I wanted more sugary cinnamon, I increased the packed brown sugar to 1/3 cup, along with increasing the cinnamon to 2 tsps. I then did 3 layers of batter and sugar. 300 grams batter for each layer and approx 3Tbl of sugar on each layer. This gave me multi layers of cinnamon swirl instead of 1 layer as in original recipe.
Hello Stephenie, I made this delicious cake. I made some changes like I added vegetable oil instead of butter and I added half of dark brown sugar with cinnamon powder. I just made this and I'm waiting for it to come out of the oven. Today is Sunday and I wanted to take some to work with me. Thank you so much for the recipe and thank you for saying the measurements as you're making it. I can't stand when somebody has a recipe but doesn't give you the measurements and then you have to go and find it on their website. It's too much of a trouble if it's not right in front of me I won't make it. I can't stand watching videos without any measurements so thank you so much

If you are baking in a regular oven, by that I mean where the heat comes from the bottom element, then you want the oven rack in the center of the oven.

Excellent recipe. Made it last night, eating a piece again now, as I type. I skipped the parchment paper piece on the bottom and some of it stuck there. Will not forget that step again the next time I make this, which will be soon.
