Bracer's problem is that his pilots were very new and had a bad connection with each other while the Chinese pilots were triplets and therefore had such a good connection that they were Lethal and Stealthy.
the problem. was that they Kaiju was way stronger casue they was making them bigger and stronger but typhoon was strong
@@steeds52 problems is they were using fighting machines, mark IV and under were KILLING machines. Crimson Typhoon wasn't built to fight, it was made to kill
And yeah the bad connection has an effect on it too, plus the consistant piece and lack of proper training. As well as trading bulk and lethality for more slender, almost human-like builds.
Even Striker had less of a human build ss its upper body had large builds for carrying 6 cannons and heavy punches while lower body was thin for quick motion
Original Gypsy Danger was all pull and then there's Alpah... may the mark one's rest in peace

Its to do with the motion and feel of the Jaegers. The original Gypsy danger is slower, more analogue, more mechanical. The new Gypsy moves too fast to feel like a giant mech, instead it feels more like the mechs in the 2nd movie are human sized with its surrounding environment miniaturised.
Crimson typhoon would rather die than run from a fight🗿

It was destined to be the strongest Jaeger in the first pacific rim out of the Jaegers we know, he was a mark 4 and the only mark 4 in the first movie, he had the most abilities, it was confirmed to have all of gipsy's abilities besides being nuclear, and that Crimson had an extra arm and more flexible joints.
Since the crimson pilot know they fight an unfair fight while also knowing its a disadvantage for them if they chose to flee, they rather try to atleast take down 1 Kaiju with them or severly injure so the surviving jaeger won't face a difficult time facing them later on.
Which gipsy avenged both of them later on
A 3 partner drift is one of the rarest things out there and is comparable to finding someone that could solo drift. So to me these three kids that only knew each other a few months could drift is impossible
Tbh I don’t think it was triple drifting I think one was just chilling until the gun was needed and only was in that so I think you saying it’s impossible for them to have done that it probably true
Drifting with someone in general was already difficult since you need to sunc two people together
But 3? The difficulty of even attempting that is incredible let alone making it work and actually piloting that behemoth
@@Notskibiditoiletfan I think they did say they all were in the drift. The guy in the back controlled the rear arm, meaning he had to be linked to the Jaeger.

Bracer Phoenix: waste bullets on a impact-absorbing mega kaiju, wasted their boulder arm for the last second while missing their timing and closing into mega kaiju's open mouth. All the fancy billion dollar features wasted only for one meaningless broken mandible

Na use the 4 from first movie with there pilots to there FULL POTENTIAL no plot to quickly kill then off. Strikers quick and strong fighting style. Crimsons swift but deadly moves, gypsy rough but sleek combat, and Cherno’s ruthless power. Those 3 Kijus don’t last 2 minutes and the megga Kiju never forms everyone survived

Crimson Typhoon was impressive no cap, it's just that the kaiju were specialised to be a nightmare to crimson and cherno, they would have sped up the fight against the mega kaiju to only 7 minutes
It was sad to see them get torn to shreds so fast but then you remember that these were designed and armed with the knowledge to specifically kill these yeagers and it makes sense and honestly makes it a bit more impressive that they managed to survive as long as they did even when going up against there perfect opponent

Well the the only reason the world was able to maintain its peace was because of the kaijus, after the kaiju were gone, since the most powerful weapons can not be kept with a single country, they had to fight over it

I guess it was difficult to find multiples to run three person Jaegers. You just can’t throw three ppl into one and expect them to be drift compatible.
.....you haven't watched the movie have you? They're triplets, and as such, have amazing drift compatibility.
The third pilot in bracers phoniex wasn't even connected, she was just there to man the guns

They tried, Otach crushed their head afterwards iirc.
Typhoon and Cherno lost because they where Jagers who had several engagements vs the two biggest cat 4s of the time and with the kiju being hivenetwork they had all the data of both typhoon striker and chernos previous battles that's why they gave leather back the EMP for striker ottchi knew typhoon compared to most Jagers had a small head and her acid countered jagers like cherno who where slower and brawlers those two where built to Wipeout those three jagers Gipsy was unexpected because they thought it was destroyed years ago and also she was improved to be comparable to striker with a even more experienced piolit and a more capable co piolit plus the weapon improvements like how knifehead had time to damage gypsy because how long the load up time on the plasma caster was look at the next group of kaiju they knew how to take Gipsy apart

@@sebastianrodriguez8992that is because they were Experienced pilots. Even Knifehead was made for Gipsy. But still died to Gipsy. This all sums up to Experience, IQ, Battle IQ and a little help from Striker would have saved both the 2 Legendary Jeagers 😉😁

I still doubt it. Otachi, the kaiju, was especially engineered to destroy Typhoon. Eventhough they have ejection system (as a mark IV jeager, i believe they have, since Mark III Gipsy Danger already have one), they couldn't escaped it. The pincher came from the top and blocking the ejection's path.
The story is good but I swear it was ruined by the teen pilots and if their fight was at night, because the attack on the jaegars base was actually executed perfectly in my opinion
Yeah i think if they got a less annoying cast and made the kids dialogue not such a drag to listen to and gave them SOME coordination it could've been better
The attack on the jaeger base COULD have been the Great plot point of the movie, Like a RUclipsr pointed out they could've spun the corrupted Drones to open up Rifts EVERYWHERE in the world and raise the stakes, give an actual threat again, but that was solved in mere minutes by some unknown feedback loop.

I absolutely loved cherno alpha, with every steps of this motherland War beast takes, you could hear the pride of they're pilot and everything their people stands for, glory to the mother lands, duty ends in death.

If Uprising used the last surviving veterans besides Jake, they would've killed one before it merged
True these new kids had no real experience amd thus not much of a real shot at this fight given its a Kaiju thats 3 times the size of them and has new abilities they havent gone up against before
So there lack of experience, coordination, and skill definitely played into there downfall
If i remember correctly the only surviving experienced veterans was the father with the bulldog from the eureka Yeager, mako and beckett. Every other ranger died in combat before the 5 year time skip or during. I remember the commander saying there were literally only 4 yeagers left. If there were any surviving rangers whose yeagers were only destroyed the same way becketts was, the resistance would have scrambled to fix theirs just as they had done for gypsy danger.
may i remind that Mako did more than 50 succeseful simulator missions and Pentecost still didn't want her to pilot jaeger, until Raleigh persueaded him.

Honestly, it would have slapped to have one or a series of Jaegers using a modified US mark 7 16"/50 as a long range sniper. Armor plating or not, having 1.3 tons of armor piercing mass slamming into their body would, if not outright penetrate, liquefy the tissue underneath their hide
Typhoon’s design was probably the most unique and badass Jaeger.

Old School pacific rim had very practical weapons. swords and stuff. this guy was lugging around an unecessarily heavy bowling ball.
Crimpson typhoon is still my fav jeager from the entire series such a badass i feel its potential was way better then striker ureka

Crimson have eject system but grapler tail that destroyed cockpit didn't let that happened. Cherno probably didn't have eject system due fact itS' old mark 1 and pentecost said that protection from radiation was least of problem with their building. we can assume eject system wasn't necesery either, because it was either kill or be killed.

I laughed at the new pilots incompetence, it reminds me of german pilots and tankers in ww2, as the experienced kick ass in their older tanks or planes the incompentent recieve new and more complex machines they arent ready for.

Technically speaking, Crimson Typhoon was destined to be the strongest and most powerful Jaeger in the first Pacific Rim because he was the only mark 4 Jeager that we knew about and that was made in the first movie, meaning he had the plasma canon and every Gipsy had but another arm, but sadly Otachi did him dirty.

The reason why the jeagers in pacific rim uprising sucks are the pilots the pilots are cadetes and kids bruh
I just realized another reason the original was better: they weren’t afraid to have characters die. They realistically had them fight to the end, like Crimson Typhoon, and Cherno Alpha, while in the new one they all simply happen to eject at the perfect time. The first was more realistic (as much as several hundred foot tall monsters and robots are lol) but the second just threw that out of the window.

Okay, so let me give a framework
Cherno Alpha was the sole surviving mk.1 Jaeger, it was THAT rugged, its old as hell and is still making competition with Mark 4's and 5's, its credited with 6 Kaiju Kills in its lifetime, not counting assists, it eats hits and its pilots Swing back harder
Crimson typhoon was credited 8 kills over its short lifespan, EIGHT. its by far the most synced of all Jaegers as its piloted by a set of Triplets, it took a Kaiju built specifically to counter it to bring her and her pilots down
Gypsy Danger is an Old Nuclear Powered mk.3 Jaeger (mk 3.5 if you will since it was repaired and upgraded to be put back in service in the movie) and it was able to Put down 6 Kaiju's in the Movie, SIX. Knifehead, Otachi, Leatherback, Raiju, scunner and Slattern (with some help)
mind you, Leatherback, Otachi, Scunner and Raiju were Cat 4's
Slattern was CAT 5, the same Category as the mega kaiju in the 2nd movie
Gypsy was able to Fillet these fuckers whilst missing an arm and LIMPING with a broken leg and they STILL screwed them
speaks VOLUMES about how Skilled its pilots are and how rugged the design of it is
Lastly, theres Striker Eureka, Mk.6, most advanced and Strongest Jaeger there was at the time, Credited with *ELEVEN* kaiju kills.
Slattern was CRIPPLED by this Jaeger, this *ONE* Jaeger, a category 5 Kaiju. It was nearly able to Tear its Arms off
These information and feats give a rough idea of how Skilled the Pilots are
Now imagine what they could do using newer Tech, faster Jaegers, Stronger Weapons, they would pick apart the modern day Kaiju's like they were Cat 1's.
