I'd like to make a honorable mention to the ranch. Making 5 eggs from 2 berries is amazing. Even without yhe processed food bonus, it's heavly worth if u dont want to go for processed foods
Hey ic0n, big shoutout and thanks. ive been enjoying binging your AtS content, i learnt a lot of the fundamentals that made me much better. However, i am stilll new and just finished my first bronze seal, playing on veteran difficulties. With the keeper of the stone dlc out, would you recommend playing with it enabled , or holdout until later difficulties/seals?
I'd definitely recommend it, as it adds more things into your game. The new biome is fun, the frogs will only affect your game once you have hit level 13. I especially enjoyed the new biome a lot as it strikes a good balance between fun, adventure and slight challenge.
2 Tips from Early access days: (Because honestly i have no idea how to deal with these other 3 new races effectively) 1.) Pie Jerky is a god tier upgrade that allows you to bake pies (humans/ beavers love) that creates free resources for the lizards to sustain themselves in builds that are vegetable heavy. By a similiar rota, free bugs found when scavenging can extend food supplies enough to either get the building you want or to use in highly inefficient recipes. 2.) Water pump + Trade = Profit??? It sounds stupid or even heretical, but a Water enhanced farm/ranch producing twice the output per harvest (or even just +50%) allows you to have free resources to trade for the other cheap food ingredients you want to sustain your population's desired process food.
Would love some new videos on the basics in light of the 1.4 update.
Will do a little 1.4 video this week o/
Love your content for against the storm very calming and informative

Over 200 hours with this game, and I NEVER made complex food. It never clicked that fewer pieces of food could be made into more food. Duh on me
