Thanks for the review! I noticed you said the maximum brightness in the sRGB emulation mode was 218 nits. In your sRGB emulation graph it shows a luminance of 219.6 nits at a brightness setting of 70. Does the monitor not get any brighter from there then? Also, did y’all happen to measure the maximum brightness for the AW2725DF using the Creator-sRGB preset? Thanks!
Does anyone know if MSI forces you to have the same display settings for each input source, or if there is a way to save custom display settings for each input?
I really liked that analysis, I am a LG fan and I would like to see a review of the LG 27gs95qe-b model, of course, it has the disadvantage of being 240hz but they improved the screen...
27gs95qe-b is an amazing monitor, the design, the backlight, I enjoyed controlling the monitor with the remote. Unfortunately, in absolute silence, the monitor fan made strange disturbing noises. Exchange for another piece was not possible, as it was not in stock and availability was unknown. The MPG 271QRX QD-OLED was available, so I paid extra and took it. The 271QRX doesn't have a fan, which is great. I am satisfied, but being lg 27gs95qe-b without a fan, or if it was at least not audible, I would not change.

24:38 The Alienware 27" QD-OLED AW2725DF has USB Type-C doesn't it? Where I'm at, the MSI 271QRX is priced at $1,599 vs $1,089 for the Alienware's AW2725DF. I'm planning to get 2 monitors, so is the extra features of the MSI 27" worth adding on $510 (USD 382)? Is the 2.1 HDMI port a big deal? Would there be a noticable difference between the monitors for DCI P3 uses? I'm not so well versed with monitors so do educate me in making a more infromed decision for my purchase :)
It has a USB-C port but that only has data and low power delivery. The MSI has displayport alt mode (ie video transfer) and 90W power delivery to properly power laptops etc Whether or not the other things are worth the money depends on what you want to use the screen for. Will you be plugging in a modern games console? Do you need to work in the specific P3 colour space for content creation or anything?
So tempted by this to replace my venerable PG279Q, esp since Provantage has it for $761. Probably going to go with 32” 4K QD-OLED but this is a lot cheaper and 360hz looks to have basically “perfect” motion clarity! Tough choice!
it comes in at same price as my corsair 1440p woled 240hz last year, so that is nice pricing. i really wish i had 360hz, because i think it is where frame generation starts to be usable and i want to test it.
Thanks for your review, your hard work is appreciated. I do have a question, another monitor reviewing channel Techless did a review of the AW2725DF and its testing found the 250nitts brightness is not actually correct and its roughly around 210. Alienware did some tampering in the testing mode to make it seem brighter, or thats what i understood. This makes it not really that much brighter that the LG27GR95QE (which was too dark for me). I am concerned that this monitor will be the same. Could you shed some light on this kindly?
I’m aware of that difference and it seems that the screen can be around 30 - 40 nits lower in windows desktop as the multi logo detection feature (which can’t be turned off) is then active. We measured this during our review of the 32” model, but this was after the 27” review where we hadn’t investigated it. I’d expect the same kind of trend on the 27" model tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell-alienware-aw3225qf#Brightness-and-Contrast

Hey TFTCentral - thanks for the great review as always. Do you think you could bug MSI to add an option to disable the power LED when the screen is on? It's like a giant white pixel when you're trying to disappear into a game/movie in a dark room, and it's distracting!
@@tftcentralThank you so much for asking. The shape of the LED housing makes it a bit awkward to tape it cleanly/surreptitiously. Should be easy for MSI to add this option, if they listen to you. Will keep my fingers and toes firmly crossed! Thanks again!

Thank you very much for the review. I appreciate your time and effort you put in and also report stuff to MSI. I have a question. Does the higher input lag at 60hz mean that if i play a game where i dont get a lot of fps for example less than
No it would only matter for a fixed 60Hz input source or if you set the screen to 60Hz for some reason in windows. For VRR situations it should remain low as per the 360Hz figure 😀
@@tftcentral Thank you. I have one more question regarding HDR. Can i leave HDR always enabled on this monitor in my Windows Display Settings and still get a highly accurate experience when watching sdr content when it comes to sRGB, greyscale and gamma accuracy ? Were you able to test this because when i have hdr enabled it looks pretty normal for sdr content through my eyes like it does when hdr is off. Im also not sure if i should use the TrueBlack 400 mode or the Peak 1000 Mode for HDR content. Or for what content what mode would be better. I feel like the Peak 1000 mode would be better to get the full brightness capabilities of the panel but it has very aggressive abl which the True Black 400 Mode doesnt have and im afraid it will kick in when i consume hdr content and will make it worse. Any thoughts on that ?
This is the video i needed. Been looking at these two models and have no idea what to choose. I still play my series x from time to time and the hdmi 2.1 support is a big selling point for me. But as the pricing in the UK is ass i cant justify msi model being £250 more expensive if ever in stock.
Watch the rest of the video. It supports a virtual 4K input which is then downscaled to the 1440p of the panel. But that allows a higher detail level input source but more importantly allows support for HDR on Xbox which only works at 4K
Does anyone know what additional differences, besides USB C, there are between the MAG 271QPX QD-OLED 27 version? I barely see any reviews of this monitor and it is the only one available to buy, there is no mpg version to buy, and I am waiting to buy one...
Not at those refresh rates but here’s a previous statement on their different numbers It’s hard to pin point the cause for the difference and as far as we can see the input lag testing approach and tools are not explained on Rtings.com. I can’t vouch for their accuracy. All we can really vouch for is the results we obtained during our testing with our long standing and well established input lag testing approach. This is used to specifically isolate only the display lag, and I have faith in its accuracy. It’s repeatable and consistent, and we have obtained very similar results to other reviewers who have adopted the same tool when they’ve reviewed the same screens. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen differences in the results obtained from Rtings for lag when compared to ours, or many other reviews. Sometimes they align, but sometimes they are quite different.
is the QPX model just the same one without firmware update option? I just got it, and I am seeing users complaining that the pixel refresh keeps popping up and is bugged
it’s a 175Hz QDOLED panel so it’s a gen 1 panel from Samsungs point of view. MSI have added loads of new features like heatsink, graphene panel, OLED Care 2.0 etc, and it may perhaps be THEIR new gen of monitor, but the panel being used is still the original gen 1 panel
Can you do new tests on input lag even at 120 hz for those who play on consoles? And also with VRR active? Other reviews like Rtings have seen very high input lag. You are in direct contact with MSI and perhaps you can ask for a firmware update in order to fix it. Thanks a lot.

Does your model have lines like pixels all over the screen in almost dark scenes like the first one in Alan Wake 2? They only appear when moving the camera or the character horizontally (to the sides) and in RUclips videos when the image moves and only in dark areas, if I enable AI vision that makes the black brighter this problem disappears, I have already verified that it is the monitor since in another one that I have 1080P this problem does not appear, I hope you can help me because I would not like to return it but I want to know if it is a general firmware issue or a failure of my specific unit.
@@tftcentralYes, I have already done many tests and although it is not something serious, it is noticeable in the dark areas (only in them) both in videos and in games They appear in dark areas of games and high quality videos when the image moves only horizontally. @Djenkov I returned it and ordered a replacement, the new unit also has the same thing. Furthermore, many people have reported this from both Dell and Asus, in addition to the MSI with this same QD OLED panel, so it seems to be something intrinsic to the technology. I'll keep it this time since at a certain distance nothing is noticeable, only if you get closer and look at the dark areas when moving my camera horizontally in games or if the screen moves that way in videos
I am interested in this monitor, but g sync is not listed in the specifications. Can you comment on that? Will it work perfectly with my rtx 3070 or no one can say, and it is risky to buy?
It supports Gsync from NVIDIA cards fine, it just hasn’t received their certification yet. Although note there can be some flickering issues at lower frame rates and especially on darker content when viewing VRR content on an OLED
Thank you for your prompt response. Should I be concerned about it having 300-380 fps on counterstrike 2 and set the monitor for 360hz? So fps are close to 360 but not all the time and they are not stable.
@CS2-tactics there’s def less need to use VRR in those situations tbh. It’s more when you have very varied fps that might drop really low. Only if you saw tearing would it maybe add some value but i expect for your scenario you wouldn’t even need to use it
Does anyone's unit have coil whine/buzzing? I'm contemplating returning mines as I don't know if its normal with high refresh rate monitors. I previously used as 144hz tn panel which was completely silent. Any helpers?
Ordered the monitor it should be a gigantic leap from my dell s2716dg (1440p 144hz TN). Seems to me the biggest win for QD OLED is its superior gray uniformity (5%) while WOLED seems quite hit or miss. Unsure if you can disable the 4h pop up message for OLED care.
@@tftcentral Wait it will ask every 4h disrupting what ever your doing? The 16h reminder is still mandatory? thats really annoying behavior for a monitor. Non of the competitions monitors annoy you to run pixel refresh after 16h...

It does support a virtual 4K input over HDMI if needed. We wouldn’t recommend that for desktop or anything but may be some odd use cases where that’s useful and you’d want to use it. More useful for external media devices and consoles though, especially Xbox which only allows HDR when outputting 4K
Thank you for another indepth review! All these new OLEDs are really tempting, but I recently stumbled upon astonishing finding, that high contrast displays make our eyes extremely fatigued and also lower our reaction times. I have started testing this finding myself by lowering color gain and saturation on all my displays which offer such functionality, and I must say my eyes are not fatigued even when I use monitor for 8h per day. All my displays are IPS with cca 1000:1 contrast and despite relatively low native contrast levels my eyes burn which causes a lot of headaches. This makes OLEDs completely useless for me for daily or gaming use. Do you have any info about high contrast in correlation to eye fatigue?
oled has another looks to it, you can not tweak an ips and try to emulate high contrast of oled. oled are expensive, you do not have to buy one, but assumptions thrown out there is not helping. i have my ips next to my oled, and i thought my ips was bright enough, what would i need more brightness for i assumed.... but is is the contrast that make it work, you gain all this image quality benefits without fatigue. for desktop use you have sdr brightness slider in windows 11, and browser extension with dark mode that also reduced max brightness. a website do not need full hdr brightness on white.
@@sudd3660 High contrast is extremely bad for our eyes which adapted with evolution to sense very fine contrast information from nature where there is very uniform contrast.
Just go my MPG271QRX on friday and had some time playing with it. My old monitor is an 1440p 27" 270Hz IPS. Difference is night and day. Here are some first impressions: - sharper and clearer image (never thought coating could make such a big difference) - contrast and colors are gorgeous. Games like Hogwarts Legacy or The Last of Us look great in HDR ❤ - motion clarity and input lag is on another level even though the difference to my old monitor is only 90 Hz. Had a blast playing CS2. - text clarity is a mixed bag: Color fringing is noticeable but text is still sharper than on my old IPS. - SDR/HDR-switching bug is annoying. Can't wait for the fix. Just one thought on Windows HDR: It does not matter if you play games or watch Videos/Movies in HDR. In both instances the video stream should contain metadata. This metadata can be interpreted by a monitor or TV. Wouldn't it be much easier for Windows to just pass this metadata through to the monitor itself instead of forcing SDR or HDR ? So we don't have to switch between HDR or SDR all the time ?
@@tftcentralI am and I have heard/seen other people who are experiencing the same. I have the monitor connected via DP 1.4 to an Nvidia GPU. I have HDR on, Adaptive synch on, and I’m on User mode. Let me know if you need more info
The only time I spotted it myself was when I had a dual screen setup briefly during testing but it was an odd setup, and the issue disappeared as soon as I used it “normally”. Have you tried a different DisplayPort cable? Is it any better with adaptive sync off?
@@tftcentralI do have a dual monitor setup and am using a cable from another monitor since it didn’t come with one in the box. I’ll try turning off Adaptive Synch but I don’t want to have that constantly off
@AleIAm08 try it as a single monitor, that seemed to trigger it in our testing. Also def worth checking another cable if you can. This is squeezing a lot out of DP 1.4 and DSC so the cable needs to be up to it
Reaching that pixel density is currently a challenge, although 4K 27” is being developed, likely for next year. Pushing 4K 360Hz will also require DisplayPort 2.1 with new UHBR bandwidths but that’s not quite ready or mature enough yet. I’m sure they will come in time
4K on that screen size is not necessary. For some it would be nice, but you need much better hardware for not much improvement. I think the way it is, it’s a very good compromise
@@tftcentral yes sir the cables. I’ve seen multiple videos to where they show only the hdmi being in the box. So it does come with a DisplayPort? Also another question….. any difficulties with the monitor as of today? Thank you. Youve earned a sub 😘
@bigwienerjc7435 my apologies, I’ve just been to check and there is indeed only an HDMI cable in the box! How odd, although a DP cable is cheap at least. No major issues with the screen, just a couple of bugs that MSI are working on for a firmware update. Mostly the one which causes the same preset mode to apply in both SDR and HDR mode, meaning if you run with sRGB mode in SDR, you get an unnecessarily clamped colour space in HDR too. For now you have to manually switch that mode, if you are even using sRGB in SDR that is
@@vxblade2831 I believe you did do the math correctly. I am just concerned that this monitor will not support 8 bit content considering it is an HDR monitor or will not automatically disable DSC when it is unnecessary.
I'm genuinely curious as to why they couldn't push this screen to 480hz. Weird technical limitation with QDOLED? LG WOLED will be brighter at 1300nits peak so it's not a heat issue. WOLED 480hz drops next month. Makes this monitor seem silly from a competitive gaming perspective
From a business perspective, they won't since price point-wise most will get this instead. 400+ difference between the two and now allows them another "spec" to bump up to next iteration.
The 1440p 480Hz panel isn’t available until later in the year, likely around Aug/Sept time. The 32” dual mode model will support 480Hz but at 1080p resolution only
Very hard to know as it’s obv untested so no idea how things like text clarity will be. Also what price the displays will be. I would expect only minor further improvements in motion clarity tbh at this stage
Can you connect via thunderbolt 4 to display via usb c type cable to get the full 360 hz refresh? I consider this for my son for a screen for his legion 5 pro gaming laptop to get a good screen for his eyes and with quick refresh rate for playing fortnite
How's there no mention of the white line artifacting at 360 Hz? There's starting to be a lot of user reports about it without a clear solution. On another note, it's baffling how happily manufacturers limit user control. No control whatsoever over HDR modes is wild especially for gaming - you either use it full blast or back to SDR. Not ideal, especially if you're in a darker environment. More control is always better.
That’s not an issue we experienced during our testing but we have made sure MSI are aware of the user reports and specific test scenarios where people are experiencing it, so they are certainly aware 😀
It’s the finish of the panel. It’s not fully glossy like a Tv would look, as it has some reasonable anti reflection behaviour. But it’s not a matte anti glare coating like most monitors are, so looks cleaner and clearer and less grainy. So somewhere in the middle 😀
For me, the whole reason for chosing OLED is for highest picture quality, so it doesn't make sense to buy a 1440p oled monitor. I guess if your focus is the fastest possible gaming monitor, then I understand choosing OLED.
I'm waiting for the 480hz ones with bfi. Driving 240hz(+bfi) is a lot easier, and its still smooth enough at 240 with essentially 2 Ms mprt. At a cost of brightness, which I'll gladly take. And then for slower games you can switch to 4k and enable bfi at 120hz, similar to c1 lg. The problem is the implementation is kinda poor, for example you can't do 1/3 duty cycle. And also matte.. The screen coating is making me wonder if i should just get qdoled + tn esports monitor. I almost exclusively play in 50 nits or below ambient, so the matte coating doesn't make sense. I really wish qdoled 4k ones had the dual hz feature, it would be a no brainer then.
Yes that will support the native res and refresh rate. What frame rate you achieve in games will vary depending on the title, the rest of your system and game settings obviously
but beware alt tabbing/full screenening from games introduces a 5 sec black screen every time. A way to bypass the issue is to use "borderless fullscreen" in the games menu. Seems to be nvidias buggy DSC implementation, can confirm this happening on 2 different rtx 3080 systems.

I don’t understand that logic or see how it’s a “shady move”. The vast majority of monitors don’t have firmware update support, and many of those that do may never receive any meaningful updates anyway. Whether or not the other things are worth the money depends on what you want to use the screen for. Will you be plugging in a modern games console? Do you need to work in the specific P3 colour space for content creation or anything?
nice video! have you seen ANY vertical banding at all? i just recently returned a woled monitor because of it. Thanks!
Not during our testing and usage
So tempted by this to replace my venerable PG279Q, esp since Provantage has it for $761. Probably going to go with 32” 4K QD-OLED but this is a lot cheaper and 360hz looks to have basically “perfect” motion clarity! Tough choice!
Which one did you end up with?
it comes in at same price as my corsair 1440p woled 240hz last year, so that is nice pricing.
i really wish i had 360hz, because i think it is where frame generation starts to be usable and i want to test it.
No pun intended lol
I’m aware of that difference and it seems that the screen can be around 30 - 40 nits lower in windows desktop as the multi logo detection feature (which can’t be turned off) is then active. We measured this during our review of the 32” model, but this was after the 27” review where we hadn’t investigated it. I’d expect the same kind of trend on the 27" model

Hey TFTCentral - thanks for the great review as always. Do you think you could bug MSI to add an option to disable the power LED when the screen is on? It's like a giant white pixel when you're trying to disappear into a game/movie in a dark room, and it's distracting!
I can ask them 😀 seems a reasonable request. For now, get a bit of black tape! 😎
@@tftcentralThank you so much for asking. The shape of the LED housing makes it a bit awkward to tape it cleanly/surreptitiously. Should be easy for MSI to add this option, if they listen to you. Will keep my fingers and toes firmly crossed! Thanks again!
@poppys33d we’ve spoken to MSI about a few other suggestions recently that they are working on (but I can’t say more at the moment until confirmed), so I will certainly feed it back to them. Like you say, shouldn’t be complicated.

Not at those refresh rates but here’s a previous statement on their different numbers

All we can really vouch for is the results we obtained during our testing with our long standing and well established input lag testing approach. Hello dear TFTCentral,
Is MSI MAG 341CQP has Gen 3 oled panel? Or Gen 1? But MSI advertises as Next gen?
it’s a 175Hz QDOLED panel so it’s a gen 1 panel from Samsungs point of view. MSI have added loads of new features like heatsink, graphene panel, OLED Care 2.0 etc, and it may perhaps be THEIR new gen of monitor, but the panel being used is still the original gen 1 panel

Not something we experienced but have you tried things like disabling adaptive sync? Or maybe changing some of the other settings?
@@tftcentralYes, I have already done many tests and although it is not something serious, it is noticeable in the dark areas (only in them) both in videos and in games They appear in dark areas of games and high quality videos when the image moves only horizontally. Is it pixel inversion? I'm sad because I love the monitor but I want to know if it's a problem with my unit or something general in the software of the monitor itself. I already ordered the refund for Monday but I can always cancel it.
@Djenkov I returned it and ordered a replacement, the new unit also has the same thing. Furthermore, many people have reported this from both Dell and Asus, in addition to the MSI with this same QD OLED panel, so it seems to be something intrinsic to the technology. I'll keep it this time since at a certain distance nothing is noticeable, only if you get closer and look at the dark areas when moving my camera horizontally in games or if the screen moves that way in videos
i have a 4070 ti... should i go for 32" 4k or this 27" version.. is the high resolution really noticable??
Go for 1440p 360 or 240hz, 4k is too demanding for super high frame rates on demanding games even for a 4090 let alone a 4070ti

Seems like you answered your own question. It's a 1440p monitor. Different connection method isn't magically going to increase the resolution.

High contrast is extremely bad for our eyes which adapted with evolution to sense very fine contrast information from nature where there is very uniform contrast.
What sources are you referring to for this?
Este monitor es mejor que el asus 1440p 240 hz?
Just go my MPG271QRX on friday and had some time playing with it. My old monitor is an 1440p 27" 270Hz IPS. Difference is night and day.
Here are some first impressions:
- sharper and clearer image (never thought coating could make such a big difference)
- contrast and colors are gorgeous. Games like Hogwarts Legacy or The Last of Us look great in HDR ❤
- motion clarity and input lag is on another level even though the difference to my old monitor is only 90 Hz. Had a blast playing CS2.
- text clarity is a mixed bag: Color fringing is noticeable but text is still sharper than on my old IPS.
- SDR/HDR-switching bug is annoying. Can't wait for the fix.
Just one thought on Windows HDR:
It does not matter if you play games or watch Videos/Movies in HDR.
Does anyone know a fix for the random while lines that appear and disappear randomly? or what Is causing it?
Are you experiencing that yourself? If so, what’s your setup?
This is squeezing a lot out of DP 1.4 and DSC so the cable needs to be up to it
Why does the MSI mpg 321urx have much lower input lag at 60.
Why not have 4k OLED at 360hz refresh rate with a 27 inch screen?
Reaching that pixel density is currently a challenge, although 4K 27” is being developed, likely for next year. Pushing 4K 360Hz will also require DisplayPort 2.1 with new UHBR bandwidths but that’s not quite ready or mature enough yet. I’m sure they will come in time
I see, hopefully it would also be affordable and in stock when they release it.
4K on that screen size is not necessary. For some it would be nice, but you need much better hardware for not much improvement. I think the way it is, it’s a very good compromise
Does it come with a dp? Or just hdmi?
Cables you mean? It comes with both
@@tftcentral yes sir the cables.
For now you have to manually switch that mode, if you are even using sRGB in SDR that is
Would it be possible to run this monitor without dsc at 1440p 360hz 8-bit when using the 48gbps HDMI 2.1 ports?
You would come in at 39.81 Gbps (if I did my math right and you meant 2K) so yes.
@@vxblade2831 I believe you did do the math correctly. I am just concerned that this monitor will not support 8 bit content considering it is an HDR monitor or will not automatically disable DSC when it is unnecessary.
I think DSC is on regardless right now. MSI said they will have a firmware update to turn off DSC.
should i buy this one or the alienware ? and why =)
All I can see is according to monitors unboxed or w/e Alienware has better color accuracy accuracy and faster sdr/hdr switching
The 32” dual mode model will support 480Hz but at 1080p resolution only
Do you think it is worth waiting for ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP which will get 480hz, higher brightness and as far as I understand, better text clarity?
Very hard to know as it’s obv untested so no idea how things like text clarity will be. Also what price the displays will be. I would expect only minor further improvements in motion clarity tbh at this stage
getting this for geomatry dash..
Can you connect via thunderbolt 4 to display via usb c type cable to get the full 360 hz refresh? I consider this for my son for a screen for his legion 5 pro gaming laptop to get a good screen for his eyes and with quick refresh rate for playing fortnite
Not something we tested I’m afraid but the port can handle max res and refresh from a PC using USB-C so I expect it would be ok
I can't believe I won this monitor in a free a giveaway!
Enjoy! Let us know how you get on
what does semi glossy mean !
It’s the finish of the panel. It’s not fully glossy like a Tv would look, as it has some reasonable anti reflection behaviour. But it’s not a matte anti glare coating like most monitors are, so looks cleaner and clearer and less grainy. So somewhere in the middle 😀
that input lag can make it better than the following 480hz monitors
I really wish qdoled 4k ones had the dual hz feature, it would be a no brainer then.
why not give 5 years warranty? 3 years is way short. tvs these days give even 7 years
Hi will my rtx3080 run the monitor
Yes that will support the native res and refresh rate. What frame rate you achieve in games will vary depending on the title, the rest of your system and game settings obviously
but beware alt tabbing/full screenening from games introduces a 5 sec black screen every time. A way to bypass the issue is to use "borderless fullscreen" in the games menu. Seems to be nvidias buggy DSC implementation, can confirm this happening on 2 different rtx 3080 systems.

@@tftcentral Thank you! 🇸🇪😊👍🏻
Msi 271qrx its a no brainer specially in usa
Its 800$ + steam gift card of 100$ for leaving review so 700$ monitor and its lot better than the 2725df which cost 900$
Go for msi 💯
I would stick with Alienware for the superior customer support. MSI was a nightmare in comparison.
you must work for dell hey
@@fayezelomari ya, personal experience between several brands means I work for dell.
What kind of below average IQ take is that?
Alienware has massive QC issues right now, there's many on Reddit talking about it. This one's better
I returned my Dell 27" and it took over a month of fighting with them 2-3 days a week to get a refund. It was one of the worst CS experiences I've ever had for computer hardware. I will never buy from them again.
@@BravenTyler the QC issue is the exact same one from the first production of AW3423dw series. Guess what? AW support will replace it no problem and still give you 3 years warranty coverage on the new display.
This post is about customer support, not micro scratches that MAY be on the display.
What about the lack of Firmware updates on lower tier models. That is an ABSOLUTE deal breaker for me and a very shady move by MSi. I will not be buying or recommending MSi OLED monitors to anyone because of that decision.
I mean, the only bad thing so far is srgb/hdr switch, which is minor-ish, but I really want proper MAG variants review, I still want it despite the lack of firmware, ~$350 difference is a lot for me
I don’t understand that logic or see how it’s a “shady move”. The vast majority of monitors don’t have firmware update support, and many of those that do may never receive any meaningful updates anyway. They had to leave off various features, including that, to offer a lower cost model. If you don’t want to sacrifice that support for the lower price, you can buy the MPG model instead. It’s not a big conspiracy
@@tftcentral You are paying money for a top of the line OLED monitor. The latest evolution in Monitor technology and your telling me I can't get firmware updates because I didn't buy the best version. I mean, it's not that hard to understand. "The vast majority of monitors don’t have firmware update support" that is the past. This is the future. I get taking away features, but taking away firmware updates. THAT IS UNACCAPTABLE! That's not just any feature, nowadays that is a MUST HAVE ON ANY MID -TOP TEIR DISPLAY. Especially with these monitor manufactures selling monitors that come with a whole bunch of issues and features that have bugs and don't work properly when you get them. INCOMPREHENSIBLE, UNNACEPTABLE & THAT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, atleast by me, Won't be purchasing from this scummy company.
Just buy the MPG and don't consider the lower tier
A monitor without firmware update support is a monitor that will never get ruined by one. Just buy the monitor and if it's working as intended day 1, it'll never break magically.
No NVidia Reflex Analyzer... pass.
