As a fkn emotional, watery fire person I resonate. I rather be short and vague because I know I'm not being listened to. I'm the middle child... nobody pays me attention. I hate being ignored and the only safe place is somewhere working on my projects. Even when I go out I'm often with strangers so the expectation is low 🫢 Being an ambivert is a weird space. I like crowds and I don't. I want intimacy and I love privacy. Are creatives just tragic this way? I've accepted too.
Hi Prince! I'm a student in a creative writing phd program. Idgaf about my degree (as in the sheet of paper they give you), but the journey, networking experiences and writing community has been irreplaceable. In my experience, the most accepting, creative and helpful people are often in the English department! All of that is to say, consider applying for a Creative Writing PhD if that isnt something youve already considered. There are about 15 US programs that are competitive, but FULLY funded with extra funding available for professional development and travel. Usually, the first two years are classwork, while the last three years are for travel, comp exams, dissertation work and beginning to move things into place for your writing life after college.
There is something unpretentious and organic about your videos love it

Haha honestly I think we hold onto tragedy because it's intense, feels real. I gotta look up what an ambivert is
