Honestly I could watch you for hours your videos are so phenomenal! And so interesting and inspiring! Most of the books you read sound so interesting! And it’s rare that I watch a booktuber who reads so many books I’m interested in even if it’s something I’ve never heard of before!
I got hospitalized cause of a bike crash and have been reading don quixote for the majority of my stay. Its a 4 star read for me currently👍

I can't tell you how MUCH FUN it is to watch you read 11/22/63! It is one of my favorite books of all time. And it was my first Stephen King novel. I avoided him because I thought he did only horror, and horror is not my thing. Boy, was I wrong! I predict 11/22/63 will be near the top for you! I plan on reading "The Stand" and "Fairy Tale" next, both of which I own. I recently subscribed for many reasons, but what clinched it was your "Convince Me to Read Your Favorite Book" video-bonus that it was filmed close to where I live! Hope you feel better soon. I shrieked with joy when I read 11/22/63 and got to the IT crossover chapter. The former ended up joining the latter as my two favorite King novels of all time.

You talking about 'running into' characters from IT in 11/22/63 made me think of Paul Tremblay's Disappearance at Devil's Rock and Survivor Song. Idk if those are really up your alley (Tremblay's work can be a bit love it or hate it), but they have a similar situation with recurring characters, and I didn't know that when I read them, and I enjoyed it so much! I read Survivor Song first, and then Disappearance at Devil's Rock it took me quite a while to put two and two together, haha, but when I realized it, I was so much more invested. So anyway, maybe you'd enjoy those as well. Hope you're feeling better, and if not, you'll feel better soon!

I just finished Final Girls the other day and I also enjoyed it. I loved how Sager jumped right into the story and never let it fall. This was only my second book by him to read and I am looking forward to reading more for sure. The first I read was Home Before Dark. I would like to read more so what would you recommend I read next? I love watching you and your wife's channels and love your enthusiasm and love for each other and your viewers 💕 Because of you two, I have also read Red Rising and will continue with that series also. Keep up the great content.

11/22/63 is one of my favourite Stephen King novels along with Mr mercedes.
I started reading King with the Stand in sixth grade and haven't stopped since. i love his bigger books the most and 11/22/63 is one of the best. During the pandemmie, I started reading all of his books in publication order and just finished You Like It Darker. Time to reread some of his stuff again.

Omg!! I was wondering when you were going to that book. “It” is my favorite bc of the vibe, friendship, music . And then reading 11-22-63, became my next favorite. I love how he brings beloved characters back into his books. I hope you’re feeling better and can’t wait for your next vlog❤❤
I felt the same way about Sam when I was reading Final Girls. I think I gave it 3/3.5 stars.
If there was a book I could read for the first time again, it’d probably be 11/22/63. Probably my favorite fun book ever. Not a huge IT fan, though.

I'm so super happy you're finally picking up 11/22/63!!! I always see it on your shelf and keep saying to myself, 'come on read it! pick it up!!.' lol. I read that book in February this year, rated it 6 stars and it is hands down my favorite book I've ever read. I think about those characters so often. It was also my first Stephan King book. I have not read IT yet but it's on my tbr for this year, but I do know the story so when I read that George was going to Derry and I was able to match up things that happened in IT to what was being told in this book, oh boy, I got so excited. I can't wait to hear your thoughts about it in your wrap up!

I was SOOOO hyped when Jake met Bev and Richie in 11.22.63! Absolutely incredible book (as is IT!). I read IT back in 2018 and *really* feel like I need to reread it! I only read 11.22.63 last year, so I can probably hold off on that for a bit...

I read "It" by Stephen King last year and I loved the characters. I loved everything but It himself. I thought the book was beautifully written and could have been a second "Stand by me" if it wasn't for the clown. Ben is my favorite character.
The funny thing is when I was a kid my mom read "It" and I found my copy of the book at a used book store and it's same edition and cover my mom had years ago. I had to tape the cover back together because the cover of the book was ripping off. The book is old.

I got about 500ish pages into IT and soft DNFed it. It was so boring. So far the only King book I've read that I wasn't enthralled with. I still have so much more of his stuff to read too! I wanted to like IT so much. I may have to try it again at some point.

Final Girls was a quick, compelling read, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped. I'm looking forward to reading 11/22/63 soon, I watched the HULU series already, and it was awesome. I've read over 25 Stephen King books (including the Gunslinger books), and he's one of my favorite authors as well 😀! You have a good point. I totally need to read IT first, though 🤔

I got the same experience with Final Girls! I was very excited with the premise but the execution leaves me disinterested to read more. I ended up just flipping to the end to read what's the final plot twist and then put the book away LOL. Oops. Please do not come for me! I also have 11/22/63 for years just sitting on my shelf...perhaps it is time to pick it up.

11/22/63 was Stephen King's best. I read it in about 5 days and I could read it without hiding under the bed.

Sager is a fun read, but all of his books are formulaic and after reading a couple, you can predict who the bad guy is.

Ian, I hope you are feeling better. This year my goal has been to read one Stephen King book a month. In May, I read three! Currently I am going through The Dark Tower series, and I have to say, I'm not loving it. I just finished Wastelands, please tell me it gets better!
