New to this activity..... going to get some supplies tomorrow. Can someone pls steer me in the right direction as to what I am going to need. Thanks in advance x
Welcome to the fun! I have quite a few videos on helping you get started. But an easy way to start is using some cheaper craft store felt. The quality is not the best. But it’s really great to practice with and get a feel for everything! Then move on to a wool blend felt. I have lots of color options in my shop as well! Printing some templates on freezer paper to handcut your shapes is also a great way to start without having to purchase a cricut, silhouette cameo or a die cutting machine with all the dies. As that can certainly start to add up! Base line to get started is some felt. Whatever quality you’d like to work with at first. A good pair of scissors. I like small snip scissors and a larger pair to work with. Wire if you are placing your flowers on wire. I use a combination of 18-22 gauge wire depending on what I am using it for. Thicker 18gu to hold up flowers. Thinner 22gu to add leaf accents. Needle nose pliers with wire cutters if using wires. Glue glue, glue sticks. This would be the baseline to get started! Then you can slowly add all the tools along the way! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions along the way
