It's been a while but do you remember how you had the traction control set during that first burnout. Based on the tail lights, it looked like the second burnout used line lock so I am guessing the 1st burnout was line lock also. (So much smoke I couldn't tell if the second was just a different angle of the 1st). Based on your track vids, you use brake torquing to launch on the track like most people do. Have you ever done a 2-tire burnout without line lock or brake torquing and in Street/Sport/or Track traction control setting?
In this video both shots are the same burnout just from a different angle using the line lock. Unless you have traction control fully turned off the car will basically shut down any burnout you try to do no matter what mode it is in.
@@SauerHorsepower Thanks...I'm finding that out. I thought my diff was goofed up when I did a burnout in street mode and only saw 1 tire mark. My 60's limited slip always left two. Modern car tech! So something else I need your feedback on is that both the 2020 Owners Manual (Note on pg 90) and Quick Reference Guide (Powertrain & Drivetrain right in the middle of the pamphlet) state that brake torquing for an extended period of time will cause the Electronic Throttle Control warning light to come on requiring the dealership to clear. From your vids I know you (like everyone else) brake torque to launch. Has you ETC light ever had to be reset?
Never had any issues with the ETC as of yet.
