Thanks for the video. I have MC for the past 3 years with ups and downs. Budesonide is not working anymore, so I am going full Carnivore for about 6 weeks to get the D under control. It seems to be working. I plan to slowing add the low-FODMAPs back in on a one by one basis after I can get myself in more a remission place.
Glad I could help
I was diagnosed with Celiac 7 years ago, it is in my family history
I was first tested with a blood test, and I was off the charts so my diagnosis of celiac
Over that period I totally eliminated gluten from my diet and all my symptoms went away
Seven years later, I was tested for food allergies and now they are saying I’m not allergic to wheat?
I wonder if not eating wheat for so long eliminated my allergy to wheat , rye, and barley?
?
I cannot find a diet for lymphocytic colitis anywhere! I’m getting rather frustrated.
Hi Sarah, sorry to hear that.

Hello from Pennsylvania. Im Cathy and just got in touch with your Website.
Hi Cathy!
Hi Joe.. I am from SL and currently working in Saudi arabia
I've been dealing with Mic. Colitis. I was always a type A personality and could outwork everyone I knew. Stress was a big driver for me. The year before my diagnosis, I was having terrible anxiety episodes, it affected my ability to work, focus and take action. I didn't realize how much my gut affected my thinking. Still working on it, diet, lifestyle, meditation, and medication. Right now quality of life is better, but am having to learn how to run my business from a different state of being.
Thanks for sharing your story!
Found this after just diagnosed with collagene collitis and you’re story is the same as me, I hope you feel better, I have just started this journey
Also i am with AC for the last 12 years
I wish there was more research regarding this in general but also with pregnant women like me with micro… before having issues I gave birth to a healthy baby girl five years ago and in between iPad two miscarriages and now that I’m pregnant again I am so nervous because I want to be able to retain nutrients for my growing baby and I just got over a bad flare yesterday too much fiber does not help but also eating fats like meats can make it worse so I don’t know how I’m supposed to get fat for my going baby unless I have to supplement on DHA
Thanks for this video! I just got diagnosed with microscopic colitis and this helped a lot. I do have a question.. I have celiac and has been gluten free for the past 8 years and just now got diagnosed with the MC. How would I go about managing the diet with celiac and MC
Hi Jana, glad you enjoyed the video :)
I can’t prescribe you specific dietary advice without being a client as we would need to take into account any other relevant medical history.
A lot of the principles overlap, and looking at the naturally gluten free foods such as fruit and vegetables as well the lean meat sources aiming for a balance across these should be a good start.
I have celiac disease, Chron s, fructose/lactose malabsortion and fructans too.
I avoid all type of carbs exept honey (once every 2 weeks) and I only try with seasonal blueberries (organic).
No rice, no soya, no lactose or lactose free products, no nightshade family.
UK v helpful thanks fasting good for MC?
Hi Joe. Thanks for a informative cast.
I just got the diagnoses Mic. Colitis last week. Have had the symptoms i ap. 3 months. Age 53, 186 cm hight, 80 kg. normal weight. lost only app 2-3 kg muscles. My normal diet is 100% without meat, dairy, soda, alcohol i app. 5-6 years, eat processed foods max 1-2 time a months
I have been suffering from chronic fatigue in many years and is addictet to caffeine-drinks to get through a normal workday. Also chocolate is a minor issue. As I have diabetes type 1(A) since 2005. No one in my family have any record of colitis, diabetes ect. I will go through all of your fine work in the next days and weeks and hope to find a ballance with diet and maby suplements. Let med know if you have any comments or advice.
Kind regards Kenneth (DK)
Hey Kenneth, sounds like a lot going on there! Sadly I cannot offer individualised advice unless you are a client.
This came up on my feeds at the time I need a dietician. I eat fairly healthy but am dealing with SIBO, and am on a second round of Neomycin and an herbalAtrantil. A follow-up lab showed I have Exocrine Pancreatic insufficiency, and he wants a CT scan, but hasn’t prescribed any enzymes for proper digestion. A little scary at this point. I try to stay away from drugs and unnecessary testing, but not sure what is next. Do you have any input for me? Thank you so much.
Wanted to know the diet😢
I have Celiac and i find too much coffee (caffeine) and stress will make it worse
Thanks for the insights!
Does stress play a part in microscopic colitis?? I stress easily!!!
It isn’t a direct cause however if there are other gastrointestinal symptoms triggered by stress it may exacerbate inflammation
I am from India I am infected with lymphocytic colitis I am just 30 year old my family is too scared after Dr said this is a typical disease.. But after watching your video I feel relax thanks.. Can I talk to you??
