I know this is an old post but I need help for my mother. I want to get her back on keto which I believe is the answer but not sure how to transition here. Heerdoc has her eating bananas, white bread, rice… basically anything white! She will end up with diabetes real quick. How did you transition to carnivore which btw is how I eat.

Great video. I've been fighting against chronic gastrisits for a couple of years now. I've made great progress since switching to a primarily plant based diet and increasing my fiber intake. I think people greatly underestimate how much fiber and water they should ideally be having each day. Same thing with bowel movements. Having 2-4 in a single day is probably very rare for a lot of people. It's very unfortunate how unhealthy diets have become so normalized.

I love your channel. I follow everything you've said prior to finding your channel and it's worked for me. I was diagnosed with Severe level 3 UC of descending colon in April. The inflammation had spread and showed mass on my cervix and my nose was swollen. The doctors said I would have to be on Humira forever, but I wanted to fix the problem. Since then I have fasted to give my gut a rest, juiced greens and beets to get nutrients without straining my gut, then moved to smoothies, then continued a WFPB diet. Ive taken supplements like Qing dai, Tumeric, L-Glutamine, Zinc and Pre/probiotics. I removed Wheat, Processed foods, Dairy, Eggs, Seafood from my diet and only use Olive oil for cooking. I exercise 5 days a week and yoga one a week. I make sure I get 7 to 8 hours a sleep. I have avoided parties and try not to eat out. My health has substantially improved and I usually have 1 normal BM every day. If I ever relapse I start over with fasting, juices and smoothies and symptoms disappear within 5 days. I continue to read and watch videos about IBD so I am always up to date with latest info. That's why I love your informational videos. They make so much sense to me and I wish more people with IBD found you! Thank you!!!

If I eat any plant fiber I literally shit my intestines out of my anus. So I don’t know what are you talking about. Hi David, sorry to hear! What I can recommend you out of my own experience with flare-ups is to temporarily avoid: alcohol, products with lots of sugar, spicy food (mexican, asian etc.), soda drinks, raw vegetables (although healthy, during flares it's best to eat soft and cooked vegetables), white bread, white rice, white pasta (use the brown whole grain versions of these 3), fresh onions, seasoning like garlic, pepper etc. and processed meat. Also try to take long walks (1 hour+) and avoid stress at any cost :) Try this for two weeks and let me know how you feel! And when you are more healthy again, you can try to eat these foods again and see if it feels better. Good luck, you can do this!!
