Hey guys. Loving the videos! We've been watching you for some time and always wonder what you use Carol's Canon camera for? Do you film most things on your Gopro and use that for pics? Thanks :)
I really enjoyed while watching jumping places
Yeah she bought that mainly to have a good camera for pictures but we have used it for when we want to zoom in on things quite a lot lately. We use it for sunsets and we have used it in the dark like at the cenotes as it has a clearer image, we used to have a small cannon g7x mark 2 which we used in the same scenarios... so this better camera just replaced it.
Beautiful...thank you
This place is great💦💧💧💦👍
In my opinion Oaxaca is the cultural mecca of the world…everything is great there…I was there for 3 weeks during Dios de Los Muertos…phenomenal, a total experience. I will return.
it's Dia de los muertos. Day of the death...
@@Zz-wt3rc It's Day of the DEAD, not death.
Please don't ever apologize because you think your video isn't interesting! They're always fantastic, full of interesting sites and we enjoy every moment. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
I love that archaeological site. And the colorful buildings too.
I love hibiscus tea! It’s quite healthy too. Real flower power!!
4:35 beautiful haunting folk song called La Llorona.
Every state of mexico is like a different country within a country🇲🇽,, Arriba La quelaguetza🍍
My family is from Oaxaca, my family migrated from Oaxaca, MX to the United States. I’m was born and raised in TN. I’ve never been to Mexico nor my hometown (puerto Escondido) which is in the south of Oaxaca. This year I’ll be visiting my family and I am very excited ! Especially after seeing this video.
I loved Oaxaca. I’m from here in California. It was the 1tst time I actually got to see real Mexican indigenous peoples. I was fascinated. They were more friendly than I expected. These indigenous peoples really like to keep to their own ways. Good for them.
I love Oaxaca! And I really enjoy all af your videos, because you both seem to be so laidback and positive! A lot of travelling couples on RUclips (especially the Americans) are really self obsessed and complaining about everything. Keep up the good vids!
Oaxaca was surprisingly one of the most authentic cities we've visited in Mexico - you can shop on the markets, wander aimlessly cobbled stone streets in the city center, see a large number of churches which date many centuries back, indulge in local cuisine, photograph colorful houses, or get to know the indigenous
Authentic? WTF are you saying? Other cities in Mexico or their people are not authentic? Other countries are not sitting still in a vacuum for Americans and tourists to discover in their “authentic” form. People and places evolve and that doesn’t make them less authentic. Go ride the “It’s a Small World” ride at Disneyland if you want to travel and see stereotypes!
Nacho Libre was filmed in Oaxaca
You guys have the coolest musical choices for background music....love your vids. Thank you !!
Beautiful historical sights. Enjoy both of you!
It’s a shame Hierve el Agua was closed. It’s absolutely stunning!
I am really enjoying your Mexico series. Thanks for sharing.
They are absolutely brilliant.
Mexico is magical and endlessly charming 💕
Excited about this series!!! Can’t wait to explore the area. Thanks for the representation!
The best city ever.
Have you visit it? Or u live there?X
Great video 👍 excellent info and I loved the music choice! I will be staying in Oaxaca for a few weeks this winter and can't wait.
We loved the chapulines! They are very popular in Oaxaca. Great drone shots guys!
we were just on the quitiana roo, we'll have to go to oaxaca next time, looks amazing! thanks for sharing!
Oh man, the cathedral/square looks so nice. Loving the vibes!
It’s very cloudy and grey in the north of England at the mo! Thanks for posting this colourful video!
Thanks again for our window on 'freedom' in sunny Mexico with a relaxing video. Wow, travelling around seeing things while half the world is trapped. Good for you.
Another awesome video like always, I suggest you guys to visit Petona rooftop restaurant, is the highest one in the city and you get a great view of Santo Domingo Church 😍👍🤗
Great video!I just discovered you two a few days ago,as I love to watch videos about travel in Mexico. Many years ago I lived and studied Spanish in Mexico city.I was fortunate to travel to other areas of that large and beautiful country.I did go to Oaxaca for a week, and remember the food was good, bought some black pottery, and went to Monte Alban, which was amazing.I wish you both much success.I love how you show the food/drink and how much it cost.
Omg...beautiful!
I'm in Mexico now and its so good 🇲🇽❤️ one of the best countries I've ever visited
Arriba Oaxaca!
Carol's juice is made from Flor de Jamaica, known as Sorrel in the english speaking Caribbean. It's from the same family as the Hibiscus flower. In Jamaica they boil the leaves which give off that bright red color.Add sugar, ginger, spices and rum and you have a popular Christmas drink.Another great video guys.👍🌴
Wow! What a combination of juices!
It’s called Karkade in Egypt and it’s a diuretic drink also
So cool! We are also planning a trip to Mexico and Oaxaca is one of top destinations to go! After watching your video, now can’t wait for Oaxaca! ☺️☺️
Oaxaca is so colorful and festive looking, all in a beautiful desert setting. My kind of place. Very nice vlog!
You are both bringing sunshine in my life ,keep rolling on
Dropping like for now. Will watch tomorrow morning.
I love live music from the day included in a montage! Yew!
Guys! What a lovely video!! I’ve been enjoying it watching it.
WELL DONE!!! ♥️
found your channel not long ago, really enjoying it
What a lovely colourful, place and you brought it alive for us. Thanks you sooo much to you and your gorgeous wife 👍🏻
I might visit Oaxaca later this year in early November for Day of the Dead Festival, when Mexico is even more colorful than it normally is already. The ruins that both you and Carol explored looks amazing and I will definitely visit that site when I finally do visit Oaxaca.
Ya gotta go but you have to plan way in advance or take your chances on lodging.
It looks hot there. First time to see chris wearing a hat. I always look forward to your restaurant breaks. Tuna dishes look delicious!
I’m going there for a week in June!!!! So excited
That was different. No water anywhere.😎
Hey guys! Great stuff! I just arrived to Oaxaca and should do some filming around here too. Thanks for showing me around the center. 🙂
Great intro and beautiful aerial of Oaxaca. Wonderful walk thru town and a good quick tour. Thank you.
I slept in front of a church there at 130am in 1975. You and Carolina will have amazing stories for your 18 children in the in the future!
Thanks for sharing your adventures
The man playing the guitar and pan flute is amazing good choice .... 🙂 👍
Thanks for uploading.

Hello!
Have you been to Oxford?
I follow your trips and videos, I'm actually addicted to them, please consider going to Guatemala since you are in Oaxaca and Chiapas, you won't be disappointed, visit Antigua Guatemala, lake Atitlan, mayan city of Tikal just to name a few, congrats!!
I thought the same thing they were in Chiapas ,Tikal rivals palenque
You have to see the arbol del tule and try some more flavored water on
Also eat some food at the public market.
Mexico looks nice and CLEAN!
Following for a time now from the Shuswap Lake, BC. LOVE the adventures and your choice of lifestyle. We play your vids in our Mancave for our weekly Covid Escape over the winter until the boat is launched. Safe Travels.
you two have been taking great efforts to make a wonderful video. thumbs up to you both.
Hi, im Living in usa, im from Oaxaca thanks for this video.
Soy de México, y me metí a buscar videos de como los extranjeros que nos visitan ven nuestros país. En definitiva, Oaxaca es de los mejores estados para conocer. Es tan diferente de tantos estados, y tiene el cielo más azul y bonito.
Thank you for introducing me to Oaxaca. I'm considering checking it out next time. Looking forward to seeing more points of interest to do in the area through your vlogs.
You’re brave to try their ice
Que bueno que les gusto oaxaca
Very good
...a lot different dancing! Lol
Big fan od dancing? xx
Enjoyed your video but surprised that all things were closed. We just returned from San Miguel de Allende on 10/01/21 and everything there was open. I do hope that things have changed in Oaxaca de Juárez when we visit in May, 2022..
Exelente 🌠🌠
I really enjoyed while watching jumping places

Wow I just found you so glad your videos are very nice n a lot information thank you 👍👏👏
Hello from Saudi Arabia. I love to travel a lot as well, i hope we meet one day 🤞🏼
Hello mate, have you been to Oxford? If not check our video definitely place that I’m recommending to be seen!!
Really great thanks!!
Thanks Chris and Carol, I did my first tour of Oxaca in 1991 for my first honeymoon and it was awesome. I got some of my best photos at the time. What impressed me is how much it has changed, global warming . On the statues of the danzantes a new notion in the Olmec luchadores of Veracruz is that they were in yoga meditation poses. Could be the same, but I will research with my anthropology friend who is from Oaxaca .
I’m just thinking about traveling to Mexico, but I’m so afraid of getting Covid😩 Oaxaca looks so beautiful! Much Love from Switzerland ❤️
Update: I went and it was amazing🥰!
Maybe in 1-3 yrs. **Patzcuarro , Guanajuato, Oaxaca, San Miguel
Looks calm
Awesome views from the restaurant & it looks like somebody got some new ink ✒️🐚 or maybe I haven’t noticed. #jumpingplaces #mexico #oaxaca
Very beautiful I enjoyed watching your video 💕💋💕💋💕
Always wanted to ask:
1. how much luggage do you guys carry with you on your trips?
2. Is that all your belongings or you have stored all your other stuff in storage units in Brasil?
3. How do you decide which place to visit next?
4. What is the next country that you are going to visit?
If you look back through the jumping places vlogs they show exactly how they both pack for their travels.
@@alandanson9356 thanks. shall go through their old videos. :-)
Hiya. Nice that you both took some time out. Nearly at 140k Congrats. Great cost of the place you are staying, Looks clean that is all you need. And a comfortable mattress. :D Carol, your hair has got so long it looks lovely.
Great video. Good vibes. It looks like a very vibrant place. The place feels like it has great vibes. So pretty. What a beautiful place to have lunch. Beautiful views. The cactus plants were huge. Where they real?. The food looked tasty. Can not wait to eat out again when our lockdowns are over. Always great content. Cool tunes and relaxing to watch. You always visit interesting places. Thank you for sharing. Have a Lovely week. Look forward to your next video. Take care.
The archeological site in the video is printed on the 20 peso bill
Wow that’s beautiful thanks for sharing 👍👍👍✌️🖐
Great video 👍
Did you have any issues drinking the water? The fruit drinks look delicious but I wonder if a traveler can tolerate the local water/ice?
Thank you for the video I have been interested in the Pacific side, Tulum is getting busier than ever and as you mentioned I have seen prices rise. It is a beautiful place so I see why the popularity. This could be our next destination. Although I did love Bacalar for the Caribeien side.
Great video a drone view would be awesome.
Jamaica pronounced hu mai kha 😁
