    Wow, I like what I'm seeing here, This is so beautiful and I'm so impressed. I mean, This place is really nice, There are big mountains, The mountains are high, Everything is covered with trees, The forests are green, There are big waterfalls, There are big meadows, There's a great river, The river flows and The view from the top of those mountains must be very beautiful. Nature is fascinating and I love the sound of the birds. Yeah, It must be amazing to live in this place. Thank you very much for this video, This video is amazing because I feel as if I were in this place. Yeah, I'd like to go there someday. Greetings from Lima, Peru. 🇵🇪🦙🇺🇸🗽⛰️🌳🏞️🌲🙂👍

    Some viewers seem to miss the part about Housekeeping Camp is that it is a "Camp!" When you camp, things get dusty... there's not a turn-down service with mints on your pillow. Camp Curry costs more, and the hotels cost a whole lot more! Your review was fair and honest, showing folks what they get. Some units are in worse shape I hear. But, as I say, it is camping; glamping perhaps. I bring a broom, rake, and spray cleaner, but I take that along when I go tent camping too. Like any campground, leave it better than you found it. The Housekeeping Camp is in the prime location, you have access to all the sights from the camp. It is great for groups because it will accomodate both the young and old, plus you can all be together for communal meals, fire rings, and potlucks instead of eating out all the time. One of the better youtube videos to convey what to expect.

      Thanks for the reply. It did look like they were working on upgrading some of the units. I would definitely go again!

    I stayed here last week and this video is super accurate. The heated blanket idea is brilliant because the overnight temps get really low!

    Been there twice and gets more corporate and looses its natural beauty as the years go by. I did like the scenery and the family time around the fireplace. Things have changed since 03. I fished, cooked climbed and used my telescope 🔭 at night .but overall a great experience.

    One suggestion that I would add is that when taking a shower, to wear some rubber sandals. Even though the showers are washed, grime and who knows what else could build up in-between each time someone uses them.

      Great point and so sorry i forgot to include that….i would say this is true with almost any public shower setting. Thanks so much for pointing that out.

      @@outdooradventuresawait5391 No worries on forgetting. You covered a lot of ground and it was a joy to watch. I’m a bit obsessed with Yosemite so I love any videos on the subject!

    I know you said no heaters of any kind but I didn't see that listed anywhere on the rules page website

      It’s been a while since we went but I remember not being able to use any type of heater….maybe rules have changed? I would definitely call them prior to going.

    How was the weather at night ??? I'm actually just booked my first trip to Yosemite for end of May 2023 and I was wondering if it got cold 🥶 at night I'm taking my 8 year old daughter and she wanted to know if she should pack some extra sweaters

      Hi! It wasn’t bad at all. We actually had taken a heater but none are allowed. Best thing to do though is just call a few days before or check the weather on a app. We were ok with just some good sleeping bags. Have fun!

      it can get really cold in may. the best time to go is in mid to late june and early july. lots of water and you are able to actually swim and raft. love this place and hopefully i can make it this year. hope you had/have a great time there.

      Didn’t really notice any…but maybe in warmer weather there could be more. We went to Yosemite Family Camp which isn’t in Yosemite and the tents there had huge gaps in them and we had a lot of bugs but it was tolerable.

    Pretty crappy for over $100 per night.

    • @pep109
      @pep109 Год назад +1

      Yes, it is extremely pricy for what you get. I think camping is a better value if you have the gear. However, without your own gear this is the way to go. I rented linens and then the bath towels is included with each shower.

      I have to admit I wasn’t too happy with it at first, but it sort of grows on you. If you go in a group with friends or family and being able to be close by in Yosemite, it works out.
