Would this work with a low volume set up like with Silentstrokes and L80s? That could be your next test. Then you could have a low volume practice set and electric also.

As far as I've seen, this is not the point of this unit. If you're looking for a simple way to play silently, I would sugest you to check somewhere else. There is not many trigger inputs. It caputres the whole sound of the kit. Using it with low volume heads & cymbals in a loud environnement may not be good at all. You need proper drum sounds to use it correctly.

Wow incredible video , you went through all the samples......that was really good of you. I'd like to see if you could work out a way to connect 2 units making them 1 to have best of both worlds. They would have to be in parallel, so 1 unit is on the bass drum and 1 overhead. If you use the same sound on both you could have an EAD10 overhead having a unit on the bass drum and maybe create a great sound ! Is it possible though connecting 2 units ? I have done it with a Sansamp RBI & RPM. Connect them parallel , so any knob that's touched affects all sound connected. Am I clutching ?

Yes you can do whatever you want with this. In this video I just ran through the stock kits, you can mix and match, turn the effects up and down, whatever you want. Glad you liked that band, they are legit! :)
How did you manage to control ride cymbal high frequencies? I have it in the same position as you and when playing it kinda overlays the rest of the sounds (snare, hi hat, etc).
This is a Mic/Hybrid system. It's not magically supposed to make your kit sound amazing if it cost $500 in the first place. It's just miking the set, and all the sounds/effects you place on top of that are up to you.

It's a camera slider I bought off Amazon. It has a motor and can independently go back and forth :)

Is there a way to mute the drum effects of your kit to only get the effects of one trigger? Ex. (If I wanted only effects on the snare drum) thanks!

I don't think I adjusted anything in the module. Maybe some eq for the final video but that's it
