Georgia based country rap duo The Lacs continue to release new content and record stripped-down acoustic versions of classic tracks from their catalog. The latest release is an acoustic version of "Left of Me" from their breakout album "Country Boy's Paradise". The song features a powerful melody and a breezy acoustic lick as The Lacs somberly reflect on an unhealthy relationship and trying to come to terms with the inevitable finale.
The Lacs career trajectory accelerates with every new album. They’ve managed to wrangle up over 100 million RUclips views, a million digital tracks sold, and over 700,000 albums scanned. They routinely rank among the Top 25 streaming country artists on Pandora, and have spent 175 cumulative weeks on Billboard's Country Charts throughout their career. The Lacs breakthrough single "Kickin' Up Mud" is certified Gold and considered one of the first Country Rap Classics, tallying over 26 million views on RUclips, and inspiring a plethora of young artists to jump on the Country Rap bandwagon.

I like this version more because you can really feel the emotion in it.
I literally just woke up from having a dream of my first love, he killed himself 4 years ago. Sometimes he comes to me in my dreams to show he still loves me. I was just reading an article about it when I got this notification. It said if you wake up feeling as if they would be with you it means it was a real visitation. It also said you will get a second sign in waking life shortly after your dream showing it is real. It used songs as one example. Me and him used to listen to y'alls music all the time. I remember keeping this one on repeat when he passed. Our love life was complicated and I missed out on doing a lot with him... I've been in love with him for 10 years now. I don't think I'll ever stop loving him. 💔💔💔

Wow Brian plays a mean guitar. You guys need more acoustic remakes cuz this sounds amazing. Listened to this tune a time or two during my last break up. Lots of times winding down a muddy logging road with an open container or two, one of many, many songs that always helped them kinda hard times. The Lacs were the first to perfect this genre in my opinion. Most under rated country style group their is!

Those guitar fills are amazing...the vocals .the words..the singing .the rap parts are amazing...but as a not so good couch guitarist I hear the guitar also.
The A C G A A...love how the vocals start on the C which is so original...then all those guitar fills are just awesome...love how the lyrics are sort of a love song to beer...I'm an old Sabbath ..Ozzy..Zeppelin fan..who never heard of the Lacs a few months ago.
