The first Racer TV as I know today! I found it! I told, can’t stop watching this videos... Thanks my friend! I’m having great times here!
The most interesting thing about this video, is the fact that it saved this channel from non existence. After half year making many videos without having any considerable success, this is the video that changed everything for me. I remember having 4000 views per day just on this video, which was huge for me on those days. :) I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Amazing pieces of engineering art!
To see one of these coming down the road would turn a lot of heads!
Thanks for sharing!
David Falconer Thank you for your suport. I'm glad you liked. Cheers.
I enjoyed seeing all the builds. The Enfield and the bsa's are my favorite!
Dazzling, wonderfully refined, provocative... I think that 2013 selection marks a milestone even when compared to those that followed it. Incurable madness, supreme inspiration, polished metal jewelry.
Indeed. This was my first Top 10 video on this channel. The problem was, i didn't had enough material to make a Top 10, and so I used the Top 10 elected by Pipeburn website followers. That is why the style on these motorcycles, is very different from my usual taste. :) Cheers.
@@RACER_TV Do not let anything stop you.
That voice that reaches into your soul and keeps you waking up at night.
Love the channel. Wow, I love cafe racers, the art of beauty, power, grace, speed and passion. Thank you. :-)
+J Frodsham Your words are also saying that you have found the right Channel on youtube. :) Thank you for your support. Cheers.
Maquinas de ensueños..!!..increíbles...!!.. Como siempre gracias por subirlo...
+Eduardo Marcelo Gallo Gracias. Me alegro de te gustó. Saludos.
I dont know why, but i liked the voice. Its quite fitting with the music and the subject.
saif2048 I understand your comment. This voice have a strong character that usually most non english natives like to hear. But i had to change, because this voice had many problems when pronouncing some words. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
the robot voice is scary.. but the bikes are beautiful.
A M A Z I N G ! No other words needed ! handshake from Italy .
+mptrax Thank you. I'm glad you liked. Saluti. :)
simplement magnifique !!!....
I had to replay the video at least 3 times as I wanted to see all the details of the beautiful bikes. Thanks for an excellent video as always and happy holidays to you my friend. Sincerely, El Solitario.
+El Solitario Thank you my friend Solitario for your kind comment, and for all you suport. I wish you the same. Cheers.
Great commentary to this video.
Thank you my friend for your support. :) Cheers.
Beautiful.....very inspiring, i am not an engineer neither do i have any mechanical ability, to create such beauties is sheer talent, hats off to all the people who create such marvelous beauties...always been a lover of cafe racers...matter of fact getting one soon...and ya its Royal Enfield... :D
See some of my videos about tips to a cafe racer project. They can be very helpful to your project. Thanks for your comment, and good luck to your project.
Love that #9 BMW. Good video.
Nice review. Yes I don't want the same bike that everyone rides.
I see that you understand the idea of owning Cafe Racer bike. Thanks for your comment.
Feliz Natal amigo, e continue com sua arte sempre!
Paulo Lodicora Muito obrigado Paulo pelas simpáticas palavras. Um Feliz Natal para Si também. Abraço.
Love them all. I would choose the beezer thumper. Absolutely sick. Love it. Had one in 1962. Wish it would have looked like this.
I like the Moto Guzzi, very nice!
Looks like a nice painting, a piece of art..
wow! C'est de l'art pur.
They're some works of art for sure, very nice bikes, trailer queens, but very nice. Personally I like a little bit rougher bike that's made to be ridden. The styling of these bikes is great, but you wouldn't want to ride them for fear of getting a ding....
-Retro Rocket Motorcycles
I understand your point of view. But most of these bikes are works of
art.I like to see them as Prototypes or Concept bikes. This video should
be considered as a inspiration place to help people that are building a
cafe racer bike. There are so many details that we can apply on normal
cafe racer bikes or Bobbers andTrackers. Thanks for your comment.
that is one of the most annoying computer generated voices I've heard
Sorry, but there are voices much worse than this. But if you hear my most recent videos, you will see that the my new voiceover is much better.
RACER TV as a c.g. voice it aint THAT bad, but at first i thought is was just a very tired man who really wasnt interested in the topic
till i read it was robot voice lol
Lol. Thanks for sharing your opinion. But if you see my recent videos, the new "robotic" voice is much better and friendly. Enjoy it.
RACER TV
yeh this voice makes all the jokes and whitty remains lost, I think you should have asked Steven Hawkins, if you could use his voice lol ;)
This is robotic? I thought this guy had been drinking his balls off .
Inspite of so many best motorcycle players from around the world, a modified bike based on the legendary Royal Enfield came on top......just wow!
Akhtar Hussain Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
awesome bikes ,thankyou for sharing
Thanks for your comment.
The best channel on youtube. Motivaste me to buy a motorcycle and make my own cafe racer.
Francisco Sorensen Muito obrigado Francisco pelas simpáticas palavras. Fico contente por o ter ajudado a gostar deste tipo de motos. Pode escrever em Português à vontade. Aproveito para lhe desejar um Bom Natal. Abraço.
Incredible bikes and narration. I'd like to see a video of similar style bikes that I can actually buy. I like the retro look, but there are so few options.
Your idea to make a Video with "Buyable" cafe racer bikes, is actually very good. The problem, is that the cafe racer bikes that are on the market, are still expensive. The best option for most people, is to buy an old and small(or big) motorbike, and make the conversion yourself to a cafe racer bike. Thanks for your comment.
Just found this video, thanks I really liked it. I thought the voice was good too, something you don't find often. Don't let the naysayers get you down, there are rides for everyone, but this video is the art of the motorcycle. Beautiful concept and applications and there is nothing more fun then riding a smaller displacement bike flat out on skinny tyres.
Thanks for your kind words.I completely agree with you about small bikes. That's exactly why i bought an Honda Cb 125.
We find the voice pretty cool. First we thought it's some psychopath narrating, but then we sensed a computer generated source, which went really well. Also well written content to some well picked photographs.
Hang in there, we'll subscribe.
I may like the fatty tire kind of look custom bikes, but the lists that I have seen here were a piece of art indeed. Won't argue with this.
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Some very cool bikes. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment.
Gorgeous!
Hridyesh Gupta Thanks. I'm sure you also will love even more the Top 10 best bikes of 2014. Cheers.
fell in love with the Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone by Medaza cycles...Hands down parise guys...
I found the robo voice strange in the start of the vid. Now i love it, There is a similarity to Bela Lugosi that suits those overearth like bikes just perfect.
At first, this voice was the best that could find. It has a strong personality. But unfortunately,it has also many imperfections in a some words.I had to change to a new voice. It is more friendly and clearer, but it lost some caracter. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
I like that you quoted Zig Ziglar ( it was misspelled, but that is ok) at the end. Beuatiful bikes.
***** Sorry about the voice. That's why i stopped using this voice. Try to see my most recent videos, and you will see a much friendly "robotic voice".Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
Congrats for your patience RACER
not all the people knows what passion is
I have 4 bikes but my soul shine riding my unconfortable custom made cafe racer
Thanks for your kind words. Just like you, I have also 4 bikes, and my favorite is a cafe racer.
Ah~ so this is one of the earliest video with the AI narrations❤. I hope you didn't mind I'm taking some of these designs from your videos for my projects. I'll be tagging you & the builders credits if I ever have my own channel in the future. Love from Malaysia
wow. this got me emotions !
+Pierpaolo Bonanni I'm sure you will love even more the video about the Top 10 best cafe racers of 2014. :) Cheers.
Number 3 Yamaha Scorpio by Thirve Motorcycles, from Jakarta Indonesian where i live :D
Serious art and craftsmanship. Very impressed. I am guessing these builders are doing it for the love of the process and not to mass produce or even make a practical bike. Didn't they called the first bikes with steel wheels bone shakers? I read a veterinarian named Dunlop invented the pneumatic tire? We have come a long way as people continue to think and create. The evolution of an idea....Thanks for the video. PS I vote for the BMW #2 but Im thrilled a RE made it to the top. I like an underdog!
kickstart Thank you for sharing your comment.
Impresionantes..
Sonel Ramir Me alegro de que te guste. Gracias.
Muchas gracias y me llamo Nelson Ramirez un saludo
Nice bikes, I would buy any of them.
# 9 Galaxy Custom !!!
Brilliant you tube site
Lowrey Contractors What a great comment. Thanks for your kind words. Cheers.
Geez--quotes from Bob Marley and Zig Zigler--I'm speechless.
nice!
❤😍beautiful
I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
It's pleasure to my to see you're t.v. shows.
🤠with best wishes for you.
Those BSA's are sick
Really liked the number 10, quite different and simple, but amazing to see, where I can see more photos of it, or in action videos? (Sorry, I'm from Brazil, and English isn't my mother language)
congratulations for over 1 million views and 161k subscribers.
Thank you my friend for your kind comment. For me, this is one of the most important videos in this channel, because i was almost giving up of the Channel when i published it. It was my first video with a huge success. :) Cheers.
For my points of wiew the best and real cafe racer where British and Italians on early 70's.Today those bikes resembles more a prototypes than a Cafe.
Classical bikes prevails originality and durability :)
+The Mask Indeed. :)
+RACER TV Yeah I wish I could have that one someday ^^
If I could start my life over this I would what I would aspire to do with it.
Breathless!
Teachering If you liked this video, try to see the Top 10 of 2014. I'm sure you will like it even more. :) Cheers.
Gooooseee!
#4 should clearly be the winner here followed by Hazan's bike. No wonder it won the AMD Champ.....nothing on that bike is off the shelf, same for Hazan's.
+Eric Mura Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
+Eric Mura Agreed, I thought so too. The level of craftsmanship far exceeds most bikes on the list, especially number one. The winner had a great concept, but from the looks of them, it seems to be poorly executed.
Stunning works of art. Do they all run and ride ?
Chris Dunne I am sure they run. If you search on the web, you can check some of these bikes running. Thanks for your comment.
Cafe racers are for guys who are in a hurry to get some coffee?
No, but I liked your logic about the name.Cafe racer was the name given to english bikers in the 50's and 60's, because they use to make races between cafes.
hirundine Thanks for sharing these stories. It is always nice to learn the details about the origin of this cafe racer culture. Thank you.
It was actually a race from a café back to the same café within the time span of a certain record on the juke box.
Maggie Coleman that's not strictly true I think you got that from a documentary about cafe racers and the guy got ripped for saying it. Because it's not true
'48 BSA #1, '82 Yamaha Virago #2! In my opinion!
Hello:)
Brutal cafe from Poland :
BMW K1100 cafe racer
Przemek Papis Lovely project and sound. Is the fuel Tank original? It seems to be original but cuted on the bottom. Am i right?
Thanks :) So accurately
Yes, please!
Sam Kao No problem. I'm gonna try finish your bike video during the following weeks. I let you know when is going to be published, ok? Cheers.
sweet architecture that enfield
Hahaha, "challAAAAAnges." Awesome vid, RacerTV !
Lol. I understand that this voice has a strong character behind it,
which is very good considering that is created by a "Text to Speech"
Software. But it has also many problems in pronouncing some words, and
that's why today I use other voice. Thanks for your comment.
RACER TV u should keep this voice, its very british!
what if i told you the bike he used to turn as cafe racer on top is nothing but the royal enfield bullet...great video
+Swapnil Parab the engine ONLY
I love the Hyde Harrier awesome looking bike
I already thought on making a video of the Hyde Harrier which is a beautiful bike. But after a looking better, I felt that it is lacking something in the design of the bike. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
The Guzzi knocks all the others (except maybe the Enfield) into a cocked hat.
Bellissime
nice bikes. give me moodbooster to finish my bike lol
Yudha Pratama Lol. Thank you for sharing your comment. Cheers.
№9 лучший))
whats the exhaust of the BMW (Number 2)
No. 6 is my Number one.
No. 1 is just the right masterpiece, for my livingroom - but not for driving.
I understand your point of view. But most of these bikes are works of art.I like to see them as Prototypes or Concept bikes. This video should be considered as a inspiration place to help people that are building a cafe racer bike. There are so many details that we can apply on normal cafe racer bikes or Bobbers. Thanks for your comment.
I think anybody who makes a bike their own, are cool.
Number 2 (yamaha scorpio) is my favorite, this is from indonesia? Thanks
I believe that you are referring to the Number 3, and not Number 2. Thanks for your comment.
hey, where's my bike? It's not on the list
Maybe next year. lol.
LOL ! keep up the good work
Thanks. You too.
excellent bikes,excellent video and music,excellent choice ! unpleasing fake(synthesized ? ) british accent though !
In what concerns to this voice, here is the problem.I cant use my own
voice, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent will destroy
the documentary character that I like. This voiceover was made in a "text
to speech" software. But I am already working on getting a good and real
voiceover.Thanks for you comment.
don't worry about your accent ,it is not as important as the excellent video you created ! Keep on the good work !
7:12 my god thats some frame!
triumph baby!!!! triumph!!!!!
I want them all
i like old bikes the most....got style!
i love cafe~ but i love chopper more :)
Me too
Dear Victor (Racer TV), can you please do some videos on steampunk styled cafe racers? Are they impractical on road?
Abhishek Sunkara Well, i usually choose for these videos only the bikes that i really like. I also like the steampunk style. I will keep your suggestion in mind. Thanks. Cheers.
Thanks!
cha laan ges
" Cafe " bikes got their name from the practice of riding along the coast of Italy stopping at cafe's along the way . Freinds would often race from cafe to cafe hence the name .Since these cafe's were rarely more than fifty miles apart the hunched position was adopted to lower wind resistance and reduce buffeting - also being closer to the pavement and more forward on the bike creates an impression of greater speed .
My vote goes for the number 4 , then number 2
The No4 Moto Guzzi looks a bit 'steampunk' in its styling cues..
the mobster deserves its name...its beautiful...
Cual es la música de fondo del video, Racer?
Es de Vangelis - Fields of Coral.
RACER TV Gracias Racer!
Number 5 plunger rear end, I wonder how it handles?
Well, considering that is a BMW R50 frame from the year 1955, I think that we can not expect much from the handling. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Can anybody tell what is the music in the background?
jesionowski2007 Vangelis - Fields of Coral.
I would love to see an bmw s1000rr cafe racer. Or atleast its engine!
challangees! :D
Yes, I know that sounds bad. That's why I gave up of this voice.Today my new videos have a much better voice. Thanks for your comment.
To ME, personally - it comes down to the Enfield, the Guzzi Falcone, and the PA-50 with the belt-drive and what looks like plastic BMX wheels (Am I right? or are they actual mags from another bike?) The rest of these bikes aren't all that original in their execution - most of them we've seen this bag of tricks before. Not their fault of course, when their ideas have been copied by everybody else. But yeah, I pick those three as the best because they best embody the axiom "form follows function", they're not about fashion they seem like they'd be valid racing competitors in their original period. The enfield has that killer front end, as does the Guzzi - and the PA-50 is incredible from head to toe - I've seen a few PA-50's done, and some type of Yamaha shaft-drive 50 ... maybe I'm thinking of another PA-50.... But yeah, a lot of what I like most these days is in the light-weight category. I hope my own current projects will get this same level of recognition some day. If only because I can relate to the level of obsession that it must take to pull off bikes like that. I sincerely doubt that I've got the skill, but I can speak to the obsessive element ha-ha. I'm doing a KZ440LTD wire-wheel project for my kid, and a DOHC CB750F for me - probably the craziest part of these two builds is that I lost 'em both, "close" to completion, to a house-fire last March. Among the parts for the KZ I lost a GT550J 4LS drum, NOS Borrani 3x16 and Super-Akront 3.5x16, and NOS belt-drive bits. Though there were lots of rare & valuable parts, most of what I lost was down to hours spent polishing and modifying parts during the years when I didn't have a nickel to throw at the project. Some of those mods I literally worked with a NAIL FILE in taking weight off of stuff. Such as DIY clip-ons using bar clamps cut from a spare CB750F top triple plus the rubber-mounted bar clamps from the KZ440, plus aux "lattice" rearsets for the Honda that used the pivot portion from that sacrificed top yoke as a new relocated pivot point for the brake pedal. That part was the most complicated shape you could imagine ha-ha. I've now switched to the peg brackets from the Euro version of DOHC CB750K, the pedal pivot is the most rear-ward location of any peg bracket type, similar to the RAASK version. I've shaved a lot of mass off of them too. Then again, I've also got some steel triangular passenger peg mounts cut from a SOHC hard-tail chopper project, I found it on a forum and asked for the left-over bits. I'd love to stick 'em on my DOHC café simply because so many SOHC builders cut 'em off. This way I can get rid of the DOHC Aluminum brackets entirely. Though if I could make something resembling the adjustable rear-sets from the CB72/CB77 Hawk/SuperHawk I'd like that even more. Truth be told, I've got enough duplicate parts and different ideas I intend to carry out, that I'll probably wind up building at least 2 or 3 DOHC Hondas. I guess that's just how bad the obsession gets when you're beset by so many obstacles in carrying out your build! Originally, I started tearing down my perfect CB750F in order to keep from going crazy when health problems prevented me from working. Even beyond the bikes not being finished, the one way it's been a failure has been that original goal of not going bonkers. Should've took up knitting instead. Ha-ha.
Thank You for sharing your story. I wish you the best luck to your health and your cafe racer projects.
The voice makes the video in watchable
Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. But after some videos, a changed this voice to a much better one. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds realy very good for to non-English natives.
:) Cheers
1 and 10 top...
If I had any of these as a gift, I would sell it. Still, it would be boring if we all liked the same thing.
lose the comp voice ,silent with written word better than that but great vid keep it up
In what concerns to this voice, here is the problem.I cant use my
own voice, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent will
destroy the documentary character that I like. This voiceover was made in
a "text to speech" software. But I am already working on getting a good
and real voiceover. Thanks for you comment.
number three from indonesia
Is this voiced by Microsoft Sam?
The name of the man of this voice is Peter. But I think that is not from Microsoft.I know that this voice is not perfect, and that's why I gave up of using it.Today my new videos have a much better voice. Thanks for your comment.
Lol
RACER TV Hi, thanks for commenting back. Well, this video is right up my street, I love these cafe racers. But, the voice was just so distracting it made it hard to watch. I'll check out your new vids, I know it takes a lot of work and the editing is first class mate!
RACER TV But is not Peter Ustinov expired?
Amélie Renoncule
Lol
Seriously top 10? How about only number 10. More like Bobber top 8! Ah well taste is personal. Well made video
I understand your point of view. But most of these bikes are works of art.I like to see them as Prototypes or Concept bikes. This video should be considered as a inspiration place to help people that are building a cafe racer bike. There are so many details that we can apply on normal cafe racer bikes or Bobbers andTrackers. Thanks for your comment.
Royal Enfield ♥
