@@kirakira9906 that's true when your carrier didn't carry it, it normally doesn't have so the bands do i will work but not as well also you won't get VoLTE or Wi-Fi calling support. So that's another reason to stick to the carrier phones.
@@luca._. yes you can call text get LTE but not VoLTE or WiFi calling. And someone you have to check to see if the phone will cover all the carries bands so that you get the best signal.

I have been using the Xperia 1 for a week now. Battery is smaller but it lasts more than a whole day. I think their UI and native apps are just very efficient. And the DISPLAY!! is just the best i have seen from an OLED mobile phone...

Loved this comparison! I think the speakers on the S10+ sounded much better than Sony. However, I preferred Sony in every other category. So for me the winner was Sony.
I bought the S10+ having come from the Sony XZ Premium. I would have purchased the Xperia 1 but Sony has a horrible marketing team who wouldn't say if it would be compatible with Verizon. Previously only their mid range was compatible with Verizon. My XZ Premium was serviced by ATT which has terrible service in Los Angeles, CA. I constantly had to get my girlfriend to hotspot me for internet browsing from her Verizon service. But I did it because that phone was so worth it until it wasn't. Anyways I bought S10+ the speakers are impressive but it didn't take long for me to get annoyed by typical Samsung trash including the god awful Bixby button which I've tried to break off because I am tired of accidentally hitting it. Anyways it's been less than a year and I can't wait until the Xperia 1 II releases to get rid of this garbage phone. Oh btw this phone screen cracked on me on the third drop with a case. I don't typically buy cases but I know how bad Samsung is with these curved screens. My XZ Premium without a case was dropped at least a dozen times and didn't crack. I still have it and it still works. I can't wait to get back to a Sony phone. They are just made better and I wish people who use Samsung phones would try it. They would realize what iPhone users have realized. There is actually a better phone out there.

S10+ 4200 mah, only 3% more than Xperia 1 with 3300 mah....meaning just about half an hour less SoT on Xperia 1, with an almost 1000 maH less battery. Now that is what I call not an impressive size battery but indeed impressive batterylife. Oh, on a sidenote, quite enjoyed the batterylife test, Temple Run on S10+ looks amazing with that hidden score feature on top right of the screen. What a feat Samsung! Im interested in How does that amazing feature stack up with all other apps and games having content and options in the same upper right screen corner? It fades away or sth?
I have the great Sony Xperia XZ3, the great Z3 Compact and a 2012 old Xperia Miro. All give me perfect satisfaction, until today ! Sony will always be the best. The only phones that I would recommend with Sony phones are Huawei phones and One Plus. I recently got tented by the future Huawei Mate 30 Pro, hope it will be good has it looks. Go for those brands, ladies and gentlemen, you wont regret a second !
We have serious problem guys with our Xperia1... According to the official specification telephoto 52mm lense supposed to have F2.4 aperture value. I bought this phone mainly for this telephoto camera and its high aperture for outdoor daylights portraits to capture shallow depth of field. I noticed that something is wrong with the overexposed pictures and blurr. Then I checked the detailed description of the taken photos... Xperia1 52mm telephoto lense has aperture of F1.6!!! What now? This is serious for the quality brand and product which cost me more than 1000$.
Sony held itself really well (Which shows aptly that specs alone don't say much) the camera picture and speaker sound clarity was definitely higher on the Samsung, tho.

You still have the x10? I have the x10 mini pro until now, awesome phone Between these two phones I still choose Sony Despite of lower RAM, optimization is still good. Maybe because of a stripped android. There are also reviews stating that more than 6GB RAM on a phone is not anymore utilized by the phone totally
I suggest that when you open apps like youtube, open particular video and pause. That would make multitasking more challenging. Same case with ebay. Choose a product and then close the app
I almost cannot believe that i found the x10 big back then. I still have mine and also checked it out a couple of months ago when i was unpacking. I was expecting big device but it's very tiny compared to the phones these days.

I am a proud Xperia 1 owner...love every bit of it...only thing I wish Sony would've included was qi wireless but I can live without it...no biggie...Xperia 1 all the way!
Both are great devices but Xperia as we all know has the best ram management and the best optimization and this is why always is far ahead faster than competition.
For asphalt app comparison, it's better to use asphalt 9:legends as it is far more bigger and more graphically intense. Asphalt 8 is old and could run on lesser spec phones. It's best to bring in the latest version. Just my 2 cents.
And yet the xperia 1 has a camera button that you can use to take selfies with.... the rear camera yet... nobody ever mentions this. Least that is the way I usually take selfies but now you can do this with the wide camera on the rear. For me that's what seperates sony's phones from the rest the didicated camera button which also allows you to even use another camera app which you can open using the standby button and the music player that comes with most xperias if not all which is integrated with the phone. But these features are not as important to everyone thus thankfully there's a lot of phones to choose from.

Sony have best displays, speed, battery durability and durability over time, Huawei have best hype designs, also displays, speed and biggest battery, One plus have best speed, (equal to Sony) and best price for overall perfs. Every year all these do much better than Shitesung in display and speed. Samsung have crap Exynos processor in 90% countries in the world, n they slow down after 6 MONTHS. Only the losers having no clue about phones choose Sadsung or gayPhone......

Despite of lower RAM, optimization is still good. Maybe because of a stripped android.

I suggest that when you open apps like youtube, open particular video and pause. That would make multitasking more challenging. Same case with ebay. Choose a product and then close the app

For asphalt app comparison, it's better to use asphalt 9:legends as it is far more bigger and more graphically intense. Asphalt 8 is old and could run on lesser spec phones. It's best to bring in the latest version. Just my 2 cents.
for asphalt 9 unfortunately i'd need to be signed into google play and also have different profiles, so I can't do it

Hiya. NEED HELP! Can I ask you something: Would you swap a normal Galaxy S10 with an Xperia 1 in terms of just cameras and battery life? And why?
I don't have the standard S10, so I'm not really sure
And yet the xperia 1 has a camera button that you can use to take selfies with.... the rear camera yet... nobody ever mentions this. Least that is the way I usually take selfies but now you can do this with the wide camera on the rear. For me that's what seperates sony's phones from the rest the didicated camera button which also allows you to even use another camera app which you can open using the standby button and the music player that comes with most xperias if not all which is integrated with the phone. But these features are not as important to everyone thus thankfully there's a lot of phones to choose from.
