Thanks for the video Brian. I like how you always keep it real. Unlike other content creators who need to use highly edited videos, you don’t need any of that to keep me engaged. I have been watching you since I was 23 and I am 30 now. So many times I felt like I can’t train harder because of my age but seeing you continue to push yourself really keeps me motivated. I always look forward to your videos. Keep it up
Thanks for another great video, Brian - learnt a lot from your channel over the years to inform not only my own lifting but my content creation as well!
Can you pretend that I won again just to here you try my name again? 😂 Seriously made my whole day last time lol Another gem of a video brian, I'm greatful for everything you do brother 😁
Happy Thanksgiving, brother. You mention at the beginning of this video to go over your training plan ahead of time. Maybe the night before or whatever to start mentally preparing. The ironic part is I have done this with every program I have ever done..... Except yours! Lol. Love your programs, but holy stuff some of them are brutal almost borderline sadistic! I was much better off not looking ahead until I was in the gym and committed for the evening.
I remember running the Every Day Carry program I couldn't pick up my phone because I was drenched in sweat and kept dropping it. I hate taking my mind away from the best part of my day, anyway.
Interesting video! First of all, I noticed that it is NOT important to have a workout routine/plan. It‘s important to have a protocol. Understand Frequency, Volume and Intensity. Because I have two very young children and a stressful job, I am currently working out two times a week without a routine and I do make better progress than ever before. Every time I finish a workout I plan exactly in my head what is the SMARTEST thing to do during the next workout. Working out smart is the key. Preparation is an interesting one. For me it‘s drinking my preworkout creatine/electrolyte drink. The taste in my mouth automatically heats up my body. The focus in my head changes. I don‘t even know why this happens. Maybe because I got used to it. Being present - damn. I hate these people who sit in the gym and play candy crush. Wtf. Those people do also exist at concerts. I really don‘t understand it. Unfortunately I cannot find a word starting with P for it. Hydration, folks! This one was a game changer for me. Adding a little salt, and drinking more, those were HUGE game changers for me and many other people. Especially for people who are fighting against intolerances should put extra focus on hydration. My two cents.
I am thankful for all of you out there! I hope All of you have a great Holiday!
Thanks Brian, you're always the best inspiration for me. Greetings from Italy!

Failing to plan is the same as planning to fail!
