Sorry to hear that about your pr. How about consider moving to another province here in Canada? Try mo kaya sa New Brunswick. Napakadaming pinoy dun. Doon po ako galing lumipat lng ako dito sa BC 5 years ago after my husband passed away.

This video was on my homepage. First of all, I sympathized for this guy for his situation. I just want to let you all guys know that when it comes to processing immigration papers as well as the decision makers, if you will be approved or not, is done Federaly (Federal). This means that wherever you land in Canada; city, town, municipality, big or small, your papers will be processed through one system. For example, if you land in Vancouver or in neighboring cities, when you process any immigration papers there are remote immigration workers all over Canada, except Quebec, who oversee the paper works. There are Service Canada offices in all areas BUT they do not do processing and decision making of immigration papers. My point is, it doesn't really matter where you land in Canada. However, when it comes to selection of jobs, where you land in Canada might be something to consider.
In the first place, coming to Canada as an International student is not the best way to acquire Permanent Residence or Citizenship. That's why I never suggest this method to my relatives because it's not 100% to land a good life in Canada especially now that everything is expensive here. Housing is not enough that's why buying a house or renting a house or room is difficult to find or exorbitant prices. Almost all your wages goes to mortgage or rent. Here, I'm talking about working people like you & me. Only wealthy people can afford.
Canada immigration policies change from government to government. Expect more changes after each election of parties.
It's nice to watch different experiences of immigrants coming to Canada in a video like this. I've watched quite a bit and my conclusion, International student is not the best way to PR or Citizenship. Make sure to research before spending a lot of money. There are many ways to immigrate to Canada, legally. Check out cic.gc.ca website before applying.
BTW, I've lived in Canada for nearly 32 yrs and no regrets moving here. Life in Canada used to be good for immigrants but due to the current economy, it seems to be more of a struggle making ends meet in the last 5 yrs. If you read this comment Maraming salamat! Good luck to your journey!

I respect your opinion being here for 32 years but I disagree po. It does not matter where you land, that is true but it matters which province you apply.
Our PR was approved and processed in Sydney, Nova Scotia. PR applications in NS are processed and approved faster compared to other provinces. I agree with the Vlogger definitely. Some friends who are in the bigger cities are still waiting for their PR when we have arrived a lot (years) later but opted for less crowded provinces.

    • @PaulinasKitchenCanbyVioletta
      @PaulinasKitchenCanbyVioletta Год назад

@@lizzietomei7805 First of all, it depends on what job you applied for; pilot project, provincial nominee, temporary foreign worker, direct immigrant, etc or international student are all done by federal immigration system. Some applicants are approved faster because their employers and provincial government influence or support the faster approval of their application. Not sure if you're talking about international student only. I also mentioned in my past comment that immigration workers work remotely in every province. Usually, some communications, such as letters of final approval are sent to the provincial office and from there they send the letter to the applicant. For example, in British Columbia the letter comes from Victoria (capital). Anyway, what I'm saying is there is only one way to apply for any CIC applications wherever you land in Canada and it's mostly done online. However, if you use an agency which I'm not sure if there's such aside from immigration consultant, you may have to hand in your application. Everything is done through Federal. I may explain that there are 2 government sectors in Canada: Federal and provincial.

Artificial intelligence recommended this video. The title is catchy so I decided to watch from begininng to end. I think your vlog is the most realistic when considering coming to Canada as International Student. It comes to mind my co-worker who came to Canada as international student, she finished her 2-yr studies somewhere in the northern BC. Due to lack of employment opportunities, she came down to Vancouver that's how she ended up in my workplace, as a casual employee. She is working her arse off because it's so expensive to live in Vancouver and she is chasing some points to be able to apply for PR. It's an unspoken truth, but she is now dating a Canadian in the hope of marrying him so she can stay in Canada legally. And eventually landing that most-prized PR status because she finds it almost impossible to realize that point-system. No judgment here, people all over the world come to Canda for various reasons and those who are given that priviledge to become permanent residents feel blessed to be here. All the best to you and to your future endeavours in life. Thank you for sharing your life story.

The stereotype of Canada was that immigration was easy, so it must be changing. I used to work for a company that sponsored Filipinos in the US, and they would lie about the job they were doing and eventually they would get a green card and then citizenship, although that was in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. Blessings and good luck to this gentleman, because based on my experiences in LA those with the ambition to immigrate make good citizens.

Pwede naman pala ma extend yung Bridging Open Work Permit after the initial 2 years for 12 months at a time hanggat yung PR processing mo is pending. So just keep extending until you get the PR. Eventually you will get there basta ingat ka lang wag magkaron ng bad record like felony, drugs, etc. Waiting game talaga ang mag migrate. Ang backlog sa US mas lalong matindi kaya nga maraming Indians on H1B lumipat na dyan. Yung 10,000 slots that were opened recently by IRCC for this group 2 days lang ubos. Nowadays, sa dami ng pathways sa ibang provinces na di kailangan ng job offer at mataas pa ang age limit mukhang mas OK pa na dumating dyan as PR via those routes instead of going there as a student eventhough the latter can get you there faster.

For them Business as usual all they care about is ung profit nila sa mga Applicants dito sa atin. Several ng kababayan natin na ka meet namin after ng Sunday Mass under student visa wala ka mababakas na saya sa mukha nila dahil karamihan sa kanila malapit na mag expire yung student visa nila wala pa rin silang makitang mag sponsor ng JOb sa kanila kaya you can see on their faces na stressed sila.

NURSING kana. oo million yun. Pero sureball yun! Or kahit anong nasa shortage list nila.

    1. Make sure na alam mo pano mo ka makakakuha ng invitation to apply and eligible ka sa program na papasukin mo
    2. If hindi ka sure, try to consult with Immigration lawyer. Nareturn as incomplete yun app namen dahil sa police clearance, immediately nagconsult ako ng immigration lawyer. After 54days approved na yun application namen. PR na kami after more than 1yr as TFW.
    3. If student yun pathway mo, make sure meron ka pera na pwede mo gastusin at hindi mo hiniram dahil sobrang mahal mabuhay ngayon sa Canada.
    4. If makakahanap ka ng employer na pwede magbigay sayo ng LMIA, much better.
    5. Research, research and research.

:) Ca, NZ and AUZ, lahat yan sila point system. If d abot ang points mo, d ka ma iinvite. It's not just IELTS, combination yan ng education, experience, english mo.. galing ako NZ, now in Ca. In NZ, in addition to all those, if hindi pasok ang sahod mo sa min na required nila for residency application, hindi ka pa dn maka apply kahit supervisor ka pa. Plus u have to be in that job for two yrs or more before u can send your expression of interest. Unlike in CA, min. 1 yr lang and walang salary requirement. Need lang tlga anywhere maging proactive and dapat do your own research and you always have to have plan B, C and D.
