Correct me if I’m wrong, d talaga proportion ang distribution ng population. Like in big cities, too much population which is we can’t blame kasi andun lahat ang opportunities like work, career growth. Sa rural areas kasi, minsan ang work pinagaagawan pa ang oras.
Both have downsides talaga.

The argument to this is that the Canadian Government should be incentivize existing PR or Canadians to live in those areas such as giving out houses, give out a massive tax refund, give out yearly bonuses for living in those areas. Guaranteed it will improve the population shortage. It doesn't need immigrants to fill those areas. There is a reason why immigrants don't choose to live there - weather, no transit, no variety of jobs, jobs don't pay well in rural areas, cost of groceries (as i speak right now I'm in my in-laws who live in Minden where the grocery store is double priced). Immigration isn't always the answer to fill those areas. Just my two cents.

I can almost see the Conservatives closing this pathway and using incentives to lure Canadians to fill those smaller provinces and towns.

These are examples of cities that heavily providing incentives and housing to increase their population: Newton, Iowa, Albinen, Switzerland, Tulsa, Oklahoma. My company has also been pushing the employment laws to allow our employees to work in other provinces since we all work online. This has a benefit to both parties, the company can pay less per year and employees can less in housing. Just saying that there are so many options.

True. With the high cost of living in urban areas, maybe incentivize anyone to move to rural areas. I think some Canadians may think because it actually happened during pandemic, some ppl moved to a more peaceful region. I know a few coworkers who sold their properties and moved to rural areas.

      Agree, it make sense

Agree. Also government must invest to rural areas so people who live there will have work, and also career growth. Most people who live in rural areas, their always choice is to work in home care, groceries. What if you have other skills than that or it’s not your passion or career choice, to where in other cities or provinces is available? So to the choice is to move.

Pay cash if buying cars. Kung mag finance kayo, better kumuha ng brand new. Used cars mas mataas ang APR.

Immigrants come to those areas where there are labor shortage, but the problem is once they are PR they settle to other major cities. The best way is there should be a law that they have to work in that field or area for the next 10 years to alleviate these shortages. One example are hiring butchers outside of Canada, once PR then they transfer field of work or leave the province.

I think it is not just immigration issues but a conflict on mobility rights. It doesnt matter if you came to Canada as PR, students, tfw etc. Once you got PR, you can moved anywhere you want in Canada. Few years ago, Alberta have a program to lure skilled workers from other provinces to move to their province.

If there is a labor shortage, then there are lots of temporary residents (students /TFW) who are already here who are desperate to stay. The government should tell them to move to these places and use permanent residency (conditional that they stay at a needed rural area for years otherwise they lose resident status) as a leverage to fill the needs. No need to import “immigrants” to fill this position. Then for those who are not needed, they can be deported. Again, Canada first.

The problem with this is, newcomers will only stay temporarily and move out.

Nabanggit po ni Miss Dayanara na ang Express Entry po ay walang discrimination when it comes with choosing kung saan area gusto mag-enter ang landed PR. I would say, di po sya discrimination. Mas maganda magdagdag po ng malaking points kung rural areas at no point pag big cities para mag ma-engganyo ang new migrants sa rural areas & has to stay for 3 years as an example.
