14 years ago Canada needed nurses, police , firefighters etc (Alberta) They went to UK , ireland , scotland , NZ , Australia to hire and lots of filipino nurses in Ireland and UK applied They given one year to pass exam while worker and after 0ne year they can apply for PR provincial nominee...few of them made it some did not for all sort of reasons Whem you loss your status ..you cannot work ..your company will give you notice not to work. Your kids cannot go to school ( hard ) . Your healthcare is not covered so if you get sick you have to pay ...this is how the goverment will keep you in check until you finally give up coz your unable to pay your expenses while fighting your immigration status ..so most of them left voluntarily and apply back ...which most of them did .....

I am sure Canada has the technology to monitor all these visas expired. The only problem are the government immigration employees who would be tempted to corrupt the system. Not only monitoring but transparency is a must in this process.

Hopefully, a new government will be voted in by then. They will clean up this mess.

It doesn't matter if mamonitor ang exit. What they need to do is ensure that those overstaying can NEVER apply for PR, never get government benefits esp. healthcare, CWB, and EI etc., para walang incentive to overstay.

I think most of these people will cross the border to USA and be a TNT there. Gawain na yan ng mga tao noon pa. Kaya lang w Trump being the new president, mag iingat din sila. Some of them will leave voluntarily and try again.

This only shows na ang mga employees ng Canadian immigration ay hindi ginawa ang trabaho nila to monitor on a monthly basis kung ilan na ang mga migrants na pinapasok nila since October 1, 2022. Hinayaan lang nila bumuhos ang mga TFW, visitor visa holder, international students at ng marami issues na on housing, healthcare & social services eh saka lang sila kumilos at nag-isip ng ways to restrict. Mas mahirap magbawas kesa magdagdag. Dati pa daw priority ng Canada ang skilled workers dahil may shortage but these number of people doesn’t show na magiging ganun sila. Lahat ng temporary migrants eh nagstart as low skilled worker & nothing is guaranteed na majority of them to reach to a level na maging eligible maging PR. Di rin sila nagmonitor ng unti unting pagtaas ng unemployment rate which affected ang mga young Canadian citizen at permanent residents.

That is why when leaving your own country... do not sell all your properties.. becaise you might comw back home due to circumstances.. when you become a citizen of that country that is the time that you sell everything that you want back in your country

I can relate with Sir Chino. I was an IT admin in the Phil. I went here to get married. I was lucky enough to bring my job here in canada but i have to let it go after few months. Nung pwede na ko mag apply ng work dito sa Canada as an IT. Super hirap mag apply. Rejections after rejections. Araw araw. Almost 8 months din ako bago ko nakuha yung job ko ngagyon in one of the Big companies sa Canada.
