Marco’s information about the golf course is inaccurate. The old course was completely redesigned and rebuilt. It’s now a Par 72 course (not Par 74).

How many minutes to the nearest Riba and gas station? What happens when you have a medical emergency or important flight when the bridge is blocked for hours by protesters?

Hello Valerie, thank you for you comment.
The Riba Smith and gas station next to it, is about 5-7 minutes away.
Yes the protests to the inflation in Panama definitely put a damper on the mobility for everyone regardless who needed to be where, yet the severity of that protest was a first for Panama and in the end the Panamanian people and the government were able to come eye eye with a solution.
Now on regular accords it take sabout 10-20 minutes to get into the city + whatever time needed beyond that depending where you are going. To get to the airport you are looking at 35-45 minutes with no major traffic and 1-1.5 hours in heavy traffic.
If you are interested in learning more about Tucan please send me and email at Austin@DoPanama.com or give me a call at 6767-9710 and I will get you all set up with the correct people.
      Wishing you a beautiful day

@@DoPanama You forgot protestors have been blocking the Transamerican Hwy for years and the government historically allowed it. The only difference this summer is that protests were long enough to impact the economy and politicians finally caved. The people aren't stupid. Now they know how to get what they want and protests will likely become even better organized. That's frightening.
