Great tutorial man but I have a problem. When I press grow ivy, the living branches counter goes up but no splines are created, any idea how to make it work?

The vines just fly in the air and they don't touch the text,

Hi man I see that you're using R12, I have R12, and when I hit grow ivy the living branches stays in 1 of 1, and nothing happen. the process bar keeps in growing Ivy... and it doesn't goes any further! any help or idea to make it work? thanks!!
